The maths in this article is wrong.TPl has Os of 40 billion. How does 3.9 billion translate to 500 plus unit

It should be round 97 TPP units tnoo 1000 Transcorp plc

Mtn is going down to #100.They think they can cook up any kind rubbish as results. All south African companies in nigeria are fraudulent.

same calculation you guys did on Transcorp last week when Power was about to be listed....today see TRANSCORP PLC
My calculations for transcorp plc before TPp was listed was #100 in the next 5 yrs .It was every whr on my post. That transcorp will give me #1 billion .Now power is out .Dividend from transcorp power is not going to do the magic because transcorp hotel dividend didn't do it.

It is your money and you investment decisions

More distribution of the free float ongoing now....
Yesterday: Just 40m
Today: 57m+ so far....
I think Tony is a generous and changed man....... disappointing all those castigating him.. smiley
with the os of 7.5 billion to geregu 2.5 billion even with the output capacity. It is nearing its value of #350 based on geregu price manipulation....my opinion

And he is not generous because he didn't start transcorp plc.And people buying TPP now are using thr money, lol

Abeg to those in IT sector. Which part of the raw materials really took this much loss from mtn as per forex loss.Is it all this outdated mask everywhere. I see it as mtn just trying to short changed shareholders and naija government of what ever it is supposed to pay.

Then what exchange rate did most of this companies use to determine the forex loss.
And I hope all this forex loss ended with 2023 financial year if naira stabilizes from now.

How come most of the forex upwards review lwas not transferred to thr customers like regular business men on the street who import.

based on their posted PAT, their current eps could be less than 7 naira.

Note also that Elumelu sabi separate
Eps attributable to owners of the company and eps attributable to noncontrolling members.

But its the power sector, and with geregu as competitor, eps would not have much relationship with price.

I don't think it maybe that straight. Geregu has 2.5 billion os and transcorp is 7.5 billion. And geregu has little floating. I don't think Tony can control the float of transcorp like ote.We wait to see shareholders structure of TPP

You dey mind am.No be only #218 na #2018.The only reason people believe transcorp will see #500 and above is just the manipulation that happened in geregu power company by ote.what was the eps of mtn before listing and now as listed company. We will buy power at the right time .It is just that Tony is using transcorp plc to achieve his personal goal/his fmly. The one we got from uba was because of cbn been dey the matter......Apr and ucap

I think with Transcorp having larger share of this, Transcorp faithfuls stands to be rewarded.......i.e. the higher the price goes, the better for Transcorp faithfuls.

This is my personal opinion btw.
I didn't see the shareholders structure on the document .How did shareholders benefit from transcorp hotel at #100 with transcorp plc having over 70% holding. It only managed to get to #19.20 and crashed back to #12plus.Tony and his group has played the minority shareholders but God pass them.

At least with the listing of the power subsidiary, market will welcome the stock with a week bull and Asi will move back to 104k.

My champion will be on a daily 10% all through the week.I was in a dream last night.i don't know if it is malaria oooo, Heineken sealed the exit deal at #17 and champion brew was on a steady rise up to #15 in that my dream last night.
It is not malaria. Your mind has visualised the business you want to put you loot and the amount need for it.Just like I had planned how to make 1 billion from 10mi units of transcorp at #100 in the next 5 year horizon, lol
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 12:01pm On Mar 02
Away from transcorp. I once said the market will not crash because politics is now at play in nse.The spokes person for the government has already announced 100k ASi as part of this government success which they will put on thr score card
The president had meetings with the billionaires not long. Then Tony fired the first shot. The next is alhaji to fire his own via listing of the food and subsequently other companies. The third may be wale, likely hood of not delisting oando. This 3 big entities can push ASi to 150k by end of the year.Remember the government wants all the dollars it can get to stabilise the naira. Asi at 150k will attract FPI into the country....this is me thinking aloud .

Minority investors should give Tony the benefit of a doubt.
Analysis paralysis would make many investors to miss the 🚢 ship of Transcorp Power
In 2020 or so MTNN listed @ N90 after splitting one share into 20, many NSEMPA lamented bitterly, many anti-investment article was posted, fueled by ANALYSIS PARALYSIS.
Geregu was listed at N100, it was so expensive at the time.
BUA food was listed at sub N50, it was equally expensive.
Tony's ship has been treating patient investors very well.
I do not subscribe to all the dirty names and past antecedents being assigned to Tony Elumelu.
Most of the conglomerates under Tony are doing well.
Tony and his family bought substantial units in Transcorp plc, setting greed aside, he would never destroyed Transcorp plc. I believe Transcorp plc represents the sweat and blood of Tony Elumelu and his Family.
He travels wide and far on Transcorp plc.
In the worst scenario Transcorp plc can transform to Transcorp Energy.
The idea behind the listing is 0.25$ per unit at exchange rate of NGN1000.00 per US$
Power generating company is not a child play anywhere in the world.
Any buying opportunity on Monday 4th March 2024 should be utilised by patient value self investors.
Km N1000.00 by Q3,/Q4 2024 is a possibility.
Ignore all the ANALYSIS PARALYSIS.
Investors would mop Transcorp Power on Monday.
OK boss.Do you think you will see transcorp power to buy on the floor till it get to like #500.You will only see crossing that will be pushing it up.
My concern is we have been on this bus since it was listed at #7.50 .And anytime something good happens, you don't benefits directly.
Hotel went without any direct benefits to us.And if this still goes the same way it will be too bad.
Imagine seeing transcorp power at #1000 and transcorp plc you started as parent company struggling to reach #20.

But shareholders deserve full disclosure..........See the way Airtel announced their buyback plan, and how ChampionBrew announced their strategic acquisition; that is how it is supposed to be in a Public Quoted company..........Shareholders are supposed to be carried along from conception to actualisation.
Thanks my guy. This is what I meant in my post.Tony sees small investors like you and I as his mugu in the whole arrangement. Go to my post for today and see how I have been hammering on buying transcorp for target of #100 for next 5 yrs if power sector remains with it.Not knowing the guy already has surprise for us after the close of business today. I think there's going to be allotment of TRANSCORP POWER to TRANSCORP PLC shareholders.

Let's wait for explanatory documents on this.
Tony has always been a scam from how he took over uba. This is how he pulled out the hotel to himself. That is why i see that his foundation as a scam. I don't think he has plans to do that.why was the Listing kept secret till on Friday after the close of business and Listing on Monday .You will see 80% of the ownership to himself and one proxy as investment partners registered in one country. 10 % to the parent company and 10% to mugu investors in naija that will push the price to 1000 for him

It is plain weird. Do you even pause and think, or is this a case of being blinded by the thrill of short-term gains? You converted your money into dollars, so why don't you give it a rest? Yet you have to come here, to a thread meant for Treasury bills, to promote dollar buying. I think subconsciously, or maybe consciously, it is more about monkey hunting than real concerns towards the other readers.

The continuous wailing gets very tiring. "It will go to 1500, it will go to 2000, it will go to 3000," what the heck is wrong with you people? Let me explain what you don't seem to understand.

Yes, the naira has devalued for a long time, but not at this rate. Look around you and see the effects - people are being stretched thin. If it continues like this, your money will mean nothing. When 20% of the population is pushed to criminal activities, your dollar-denominated assets that are now doing 500% returns will mean nothing. But shortsightedness will not allow you to see what is coming.

The rate at which the naira is falling is not good, especially for a country that is import-dependent. The chaos that will ensue will render your profits useless. You keep encouraging everyone who has spare naira to change their money at the expense of everyone - your eyes will clear eventually.
That line of easy money making has ended and that is why they are all crying wolf. You go soon begin to see them in stock market asking. What can I buy now and make 100% in 2 months

I saw how the stock was trading at 3.60 and I decided to buy more at that price till it came down to 3.46 and 3.45.

Home activities stopped me from getting the 10m units I targetted but no wahala.Lets manage what we have.some don't even have a unit and some are scrambling to enter but to no avail.
Make una move the thing reach #10.you go see IB go follow join body. I get 1 afolabi unit for champion too.I go sell move to transcorp .

It's already padlocked and keys thrown away.
