First Bank: Closing price 43.95!
Displaced ZEE and heading for GT
No be small thing...... grin

GT: 45.85
FBNH: 43.95
ZEE: 38.10

* Now someone was mentioning JIJO as if it's a bad thing......
Imagine picking Elephant @27 and selling @43 in less than 2 or 3 weeks!
I wonder the type of stock that can deliver that to you in 6-12 months as a dividend.......not plenty on the Exchange 😁
The big question is what is behind fbn rise.Is it possible the result coming or manipulation by otedola and Co.I don't want to see fbn fall back to #20 plus if thr is no serious FA backing this result
I am so tempted to japa from fbn then something else Is saying wait and see result/dividend declared
BE here na #6 plus

I now have one of my portfolio for jijo.I will never sell any stock even for jijo for anything less than 20%.

With ETI trading at 25.5, representing a 16% gain from the price of 22 at my call, and Guinness trading at 46, a 7% increase from 43, the short-term target of just 3 days has yielded target returns. It's not bad performance. I could easily close the trade now, having reached the 11% target (with equal weighting), though I believe they could potentially perform even better. cheesy
Nice call. Then I am wondering what will be you profit if you remove the buy and sell % on your total investment. Can you do the maths for us for someone with little cash

With CBN's insistence that banks should not pay dividend from their forex gains, expect a significant pull back on the banks. Interesting times!
The people in banks are not expecting more than 50 kobo to 1 naira increament to thr last dividend paid .The price rise In banks is based on devaluation/inflation in the country.
And if it is based on dividend oando has no business above #5 . When did oando pay the last div.what is the div of geregu and transcorp plc.why did mtn recover after bad result. Nigeria equities are under valued because of devaluation of naira. How many naija equities worth up to a dollar when you check its asset value

No be Oga Agba fault ooo, Na Ichimoku strategy and Fibonachi retracement cause confusion in d midst of Elliott wave.
The confusion generated by these technical waves made Oga Agba indecisive for too long.
He believes, Zenith is going to crash to Km 17,
GTB @km 18.
From all indication, his last investment in NGX was June 2023.
The dead bone shall rise again.
Agba will deal a major blow to NGX when the index obeys Ichimoku strategy at ASI of 45,000 by 2038.
Lol
Na my oga you dey talk to like this....haba 2038

Note that the fx revaluation gains are largely unrealized.
.How? Didn't cbn ask them to sell down composirly this yr.The ratio is what I don't know but it was significantl and has remained a policy.I believe they should have 50% or above real gain and not paper profit

And this bank ceos are part of the government. They will never allow thr paper gains to turn to paper lose without taking action
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 3:49pm On Mar 15

Gtbank will touch #60 and zenith #50 after another round of revaluation by first quarter of 2024 results.
The only problem is cbn restrictions on what the banks can do with the gains.Going forward they will be allowed to use them when naira appreciate and long time stability is achieved in forex
And some of this gains are nolonger paper gain as banks whr force to sell off a ratio of thr forex holdings

Good evening, how do I report a registrar who has refused to pay me my outstanding dividend for over 3 months after first contact? Is it CSCS or SEC?
Write them a reminder.And always
copy sec this reminders as you send to the registrar
Then make sure your reminders always have clear dates like 16/03/2024 Well spelt out. Then quote the last date on every new reminder so that sec will see how long this has been going on as you copy them.Make the reminders a weekly or two weeks interval

By December it will be below 1,200. You fit bet?
That has always been my position if you have been seeing my post.i was only responding to enemy of my country. I am expecting 1k though agencies have been projecting #1.2k.
I want to even convert the small from yrs in dom account from gtbank to invest in Tp when it pulls back to #350

Two eliminates now are in favour of naira
1 Remittances from abroad are now coming in through proper channels because the rates are converging .
2.The crude productions has been increasing gradually and government will likely seek increase for naija quota from opec back to 1.8 million barrels soon
And lastly that money laundering enabler called binance ceo will be jailed soon in US.Then naija will have a free hand to put six inches nail on the two executives in our custody and thr won't be international condemnation

Deadly truth & other investors of IEI,

I am still waiting for the answer of the question I asked yesterday.

IEI will be trading at a bargain junction today. The stock is likely to touch #1.21 today.

If they still have their minority shareholders in mind, buying at the lowest price of #1.21 today shouldn't be neglected.

My worries
I learned the core investor bought the company 100% at 1.60 per share.Based on their latest report, the core investor has 50.6% of the total shares. From my findings, the core investor has applied for a mandatory takeover bid of the remaining 49.4% which belongs to the minority shareholders but at what price?

Whichever way, the stock at #1.21 down to #1.00 is a win win and I will be entering the stock at it's 10% loss today.

Still expecting your views/opinions on this matter.
It was part of my school fees those days.it was later reconstructed to 5 for 1 .Then news later came that new investors was going to buy us out at #1.60 I think since 2 or 3 yrs now.No one paid us after that. The next the stock resumes trading this yr.So we don't know the position of past arrangement/agreements reached.

In my own strategy, I neither average up nor down. Averaging up and down is, to me, a form of falling in love with a stock and that is very dangerous. All I do is just buy as many liquid and at least fundamentally or sentimentally sound stocks which in offers are drying up and bids mounting at prices above the previous closing day's, then take a seat and watch them. No matter what 7 out of ten of them will reverse upwards in at most 4 trading days.
Are you a trader or investor so I can understand your angle as per averaging up or down

Lucky you. Many bottom price seekers saw it but rather than dive in, they were waiting for bigger bottom.

This year's dividend payments may be chop and clean mouth, meaning prices may recover a day or two after mark down. Watch out
My oga with dollars/garri says it is when dumping and the bear he has been prophesying will likely start 'lol I am waiting to see if he will get it right this time.

The Dollar team are not happy because they have come to the end of the road. How long they can wait when they realise they may make no further shishi from thr dollars unless it is just for safe keeping. The are cut in btw still keeping it or converting to invest in naira asset or wait till end of year when it will be clearer Then again they could lose in down ward of dollars by yr end as all finger points in that direction ...God is faithful na one moniker like that.i hope some no buy above #1600 /dollar

I saw it too and just wondered what kind of business news reporting is this. The N1 dividend is the interim dividend that NASCON paid last year. This was how the EPS of 518 was reported on nairametrics as dividend of N5.18
I think this news media that post stock news are out to deceive investors some times. This is how Nairametrics posted that 1000 transcorp plc shares have indirect 516 of Transcorp Power.shares When actually it should be less than 100 of transcorp power shares when you do the maths.
The motives of this news is what I don't understand
