Brother, I think you're looking at it from a sided view. I'm not saying I'm always correct, I'm very fallible as a human. Islam encourages women to really really be educated. The first two universities on earth are founded by Muslim women

The Islamic Republic Of Pakistan and Islamic Republic Of Bangladesh had females as their president. Infact 50-60 % of female president in the world are Muslim women. Examples are in; Bangladesh, Pakistan, Singapore, Tanzania. An example that USA hasn't achieved in it's 400 years of existence and choosing president.

In a country like Iran. 60% of educated people are women. The wife of our prophet is the must educated amongst those who lived with him. By reporting the highest number of collections. No Muslim will say Islam says women shouldn't be educated. For the north, that's ignorance not anything else. There are equally Muslims in this southern Nigeria who are largely educated. I can't count number of Muslim women in southern Nigeria, LovePeddler even using veil and are doctors, pharmacist, lecturers etc. An example is the lady with 5.0 in Lasu and many others.
