I am self (employed/learning) right now, that doesn't mean I can't give advice.
There is no doubt that been an entrepreneur is the best.
If we all decide to be salary earner, who will pay the salaries.
All I can just say is people have abused 'taking risks" all in the name of doing business, they misconstrued uncertainty with risk. The kind of meaning they read to it is synonymous to diving into a sea without oxygen or jumping from a plane without parachute.

I will like to come in, think of corelDraw as 3in1(Adobe illustrator, inDesign and a bit of Photoshop(bitmap editing).
Back to your question, corelDraw on its own cannot do magic to photo unless you want to consider corel photo-paint. e.g corelDraw can be used to design most if not all what AI and InDesign can do except photo manipulation.

Photoshop on the other hand is not good for typography and vector drawing which inDesign and AI will do respectively.
e.g Photoshop can manipulate pic so well, good for fliers,magazine cover, mock-up etc cuz u do more of background image/color with little text.
In concussion I love using Photoshop for photo while Corel for other jobs.
Note: This is my opinion, feel free to counter with point.

Yahway couldn't equip Moses with advance technology to travel between Egypt and Israel easily instead he suffered them for 40years?...

1) Coming to UK when I did wouldn't have happen if not for the unfortunate death of my dad which triggered my decision to choose my career path that gives me opportunity to help others.

2) Unfortunately, I had to relocate to UK with my mum after the tragic demise of my father, though the circumstances surrounding his death coupled with my life experience triggered my decision to choose the career path I am trailing now.

Just accept nobody is perfect and move on.
