Sincere advise,,,, for most of you who feels they now know everything about NBM and can now impersonate NBM out there? Lol better abort the mission for your life... NBM can't be impersonated. most of the things he said may be legit but it's just a tip of a very large iceberg.... What I can deduce from this;

This news is either public information or a classified info passed to the DSS department.

If this is classified info then the op wouldn't drop the news here on nairaland and even social media as a whole cause he would risk losing his job.

If this is public info on the other hand, then one or two persons from here can definitely verify this. It's only a matter of asking questions and making calls to law enforcement agencies to verify this info, this shouldn't be difficult.

Can anyone here verify the authenticity of this post? Cause I have tried but no one seems to be aware of this new directive passed to the DSS.

Also 30 years in prison as punishment for cultism doesn't seem to be recorded anywhere in the Nigerian constitution.

When was it passed as a federal law?

Don't get me wrong but I come from a long line of law enforcement agents. I'm practically the only one in my immediate family that's not involved in the law business.
Why then can I not verify this info?

I'm not trying to contradict your claim op but I'm just curious cause this info seems a bit weird and off to me cause I can confidently tell you I'm well versed with every single aspect of the law.

Bottom line is that your info doesn't add up. It'd make a stronger impact if you can verify it for us. You're DSS so you should be able to verify your info somehow.

Unless the country does not have NUC like Nigeria. If there are quack universities they ought to have been closed down. But do you know even in Nigeria there are quack universities? Some owned by big men or religious bodies, but not accredited in any course? If the university in Cotonou is standard and reputable then I commend the man for awarding scholarships. It's just a way of appreciating and reciprocating their honourary award. Why do you think some universities award such to popular people? It's to bring attention and investment to their citadels. I remember after Fashola was awarded in one federal institution, barely a week (call it coincidence or whatever) but the road right in front of the university was resurfaced and repaired. His visit probably brought his attention to the federal road which runs in front of the university and he helped as a Minister. Some of you may not know but in some private universities NDDC sent some beneficiaries there and paid their fees (exhorbitant). By so doing NDDC brought more students and paid, where private individuals might have found it hard to pay, NDDC paid and brought revenue to the school. Many more cases.

But my important questions are these- 1) why is FFK personal matter on his twitter now our business or for public knowledge? 2) why do trolls always think they have a say in people's personal lives and decisions? It's like if I decide to dye my hair all white then someone will tell me no that I'm not yet 60 like how is that your concern?
