Edopesin: This opinion before the match would have been ridiculous and to me and after the match it still is, Balogun just like Ekong has his days but that doesn't come as consistent as Ekong's. How many consistent defenders (Consistent for both club and country) have we had in our National team these past years? Even omeruo has been more consistent than balogun Consistent in what? Aside from that error against Seychelles Balogun has been magnificent for Nigeria, And he came back after one year hiatus and was still our best defender, tells you all you need to know |

andrewbaba44: Zaidu had a good game yesterday doesn’t make him better than aina
And Balogun being our best defender yesterday doesn’t make him our best defender overall ,no be Balogun wey dem take side wey e commit that school boy error for afcon ? Abi no be omeruo bench Balogun for afcon
Them they yab ekong ,even the performance Elon pull against Brazil Balogun have never done that
It’s just a friendly thou Can you name any of our defenders that have not committed an error? It seems like you don't know errors are part of the game |

wayodude: Calm down guys. Friendlies are experimental. It is the essence for having them at all. There are very little at stake so they are only a sounding board for untested players and set-ups. Of course it is disappointing to lose any game BUT the results of friendlies is never the priority.
That said I doubt we can really hurt Algeria if both teams fielded their strongest line ups and it was a cup final . Yea I don't think we can beat Algeria even on our best day |

Edopesin: My top performers are Ebuehi Sanusi Balogun Okoye Chukwueze Kalu
There was no midfield today and going forward we were piss poor Algerians usually pocket Chukwueze |

Karlovich: I don't agree with you, our lone strikers were isolated throughout the game, and our wingers that were meant to support the attack were useless, having two strikers would have helped if one of them can drop into the midfield to assist with pushing attack We could not cope with Algeria with a 3 man midfield and you want to reduce them to 2? |

benji93: No he wasn't phenomenal. DOn't tell me you got carried away by that swerve. . He was decent. He was miscuing passes. I'll leave it at that. No he had to put in a lot of hardwork, with Ndidi out of the game he had to do a lot of defending |
