Let's have a quick basic tips about marketing online generally...To excel in online biz, you need to create your own fish pond, find the right fish and know what bait they are biting and present it to the to attract them to your pond.

Therefore, if you want to be successful on Facebook as a network marketer, you should be targeting two groups of people;

1. Send out targeted 25 friend request daily. Search for MLM groups, Work-At-Home groups, MLM company names, MLM related fan pages and fans of fan pages. Add 25 friends from these places weekly. Also, send personal message to those you've added such as "Hi [James], I saw your comment on [SuccessPlus]page and I'm impressed. I've also checked your FB profile and noticed that we share similarities. If you don't mind, what do you do? For me, I'm I teach people how to write their on paycheck online and I promote MLM on the back end."
2.Create 2 video training weekly on MLM success strategies and share them.
3. Create a FB fan page and make it interactive.
4. Call 5 fans on your page daily
6. Post on 5 MLM related groups/pages daily
7. Study 3 training (online) weekly. You can learn from MLSP
8. Create a FB MLM interaction group.

You should be consistent on these and in 60 days time you'll see results.

For me, I look out for those who are already in network marketing and those who are looking for income opportunity to tap into.

How do you know the right fish in the pond?
From the search bar, search for these keywords;
1. MLM
2. Network Marketing
3. MLM groups
3. Work at home groups
4. Work at home mums
4. Work at home opportunities
5. Network marketing opportunities
6. MLM fan pages
7. Fans of MLM fan pages
8. Look for pages of great network marketers
From your result in these searches, add 25 persons as your friend. Then, make sure your profile on FB is fun and fantastic. Create a personal fan page and start posting valuable information on your page. Create valuable videos and post on your YouTube challenge. Share these videos on FB.
It's important you've a personal blog. This is your central hub and the gateway to business. Your personal blog brands you as an expert and makes you look more serious.

Don't pitch people but you can send personal messages to your friends, like "I saw your post on Work at Home group page and was impressed with it. I've also checked your profile and it's hilarious. We share a lot of features and I think it'll be interest to know more about you. If you don't mind, feel like to know, pls what do you do?". Ask a lot of questions on Facebook. Don't discuss your primary business, don't discuss sex, politics and religion. Find out more of what you people share in common, offer valuable information and share information on how to success in business.

It's important for you to be subscribed to a marketing platform where you'll learn how to generate leads, prospect, follow up and close sales. This will enable you to grow fast. It's also important for you to be plugged in to a system that trains you and at the same time will enable you to introduce your team members, and prospects to plug in too and you earn income when you refer them. The truth is that virtual most of the things that are needed to start up has been mentioned here, But, I'll still do a candid input. To start any business, the first most basic thing is to build an entrepreneur's mindset. This is a positive minded attitude that believes that everything is possible. It is constructive, creative, open to new ideas and always willing to try. To an entrepreneur, failure is not discouraging but a way of life. @amthene, God bless your soul. I'm glad that is coming from another Nigeria youth. Education is meant to empower us not to make us slaves to white collar job. Small businesses are the bedrock of development in the developed nation. Internet is also a fantastic business tool that can make small business thrive faster. I baffles me that many of our youths use their smart phones to only check Facebook and check their mails to see if any company has responded to their application.

It's very painful a trend. Please, guys and gals, with a little diligence and focus, you can save N25000 and get a used laptop which you can connect your smart phone to and get more information on business and wealth creation. The early we start identifying how to develop and monetize our passion to make profit, the better for us.

From my study, I observed that Nigerians are hardworking people and has a strong spirit that can pull down barriers. But one thing is lacking among our youths; Misunderstanding of Identity (MoI).

Many Nigerian youths are suffering from the MoI syndrome. I cannot see how a guy who has eyes for good clothing and nice dressing ethics should be complaining of unemployment. Likewise, I can see reason why any graduate of Agricultural related course from a good university should be complaining of unemployment. Unless you studied agriculture by mistake but even at that. I can not see why any engineering graduate who knows his/her onus in his field should be complaining of unemployment. If you doubt my view, you're free to challenge me. The problem is that many of our youths are after white collar job. If you have any business plan, I challenge you to search for books on personal development, bootstrapping, business management and strategies, marketing and any other thing that can make you fashion your plan in such away that you can start something small without complaining of capital. Believe you me, money is not always the first thing but a sound business idea. If you do not believe it, feel free to challenge me too.

Let me inform you that Nigerians are not disadvantaged people. We are not inferior breeds and also we are not people limited by poor economy. In the face of our situation lies so many opportunities to make millions.
