You nailed it sir. I do not work in Lagos and most times not physically on ground. When is the time to start visiting offices..But with this experience, one may be forced to take out times to do the needful, cos it seems knowing one's place of work is now a needful before contracting out jobs or committing funds..

I chatted with him, he sent me a professional invoice, I conducted OSINT investigations into his name, phone number, email addresses and company names (previous and current) and then went ahead and he delivered.

I hope you have not just his name and number but also the entity or entities that he uses to do business.

It will help you recover your funds when you finally decide to take action.

I am sorry for your disappointment with doing business with Nigerians online, but I can guarantee you there are several good eggs you can do business with online.

You might just need to do a little more vetting before committing funds.

Busy people just don't have the time to personally visit offices of everyone they intend to do business with.

Yes sir, the first tranch of payment was made on the 6th of August, 2022.

I noticed his activities reduced on NL though, but still comes up once a while. He still picks his calls after several attempts, he always promises to come.. but never shows up.

This will be his final week of grace..

If you know the bank that you transfered the money to and his details, pls go to his/her nearest bank and complain about it asap. This is where BVN will do the work.

I have seen a case where they freezed a guy account for this. He had to agree on payment before the bank unfreeze his account.

I paid someone on this thread #820,000 to do a job based on previous work relationship and on trust...since August...

Till today he has not done 10% of the job, he is nowhere to be found and he keeps promising today, tomorrow etc.. Just cos I never knew his office..met him here on NL

You can try his number again to go check on him at the hospital if he picks..or try him with a different number..

All will be fine.

Hello everyone....please I need your opinion on this... On Friday last week, my pop guy called to tell me he wasn't working on Friday cos his wife was ill and he needed to take care of her, he told me he was going to resume on Monday, I told him it was fine and he should go ahead. On Monday, people that went to the site to drop off the tiles told me he wasn't at the site so, I called him.. He told me he was at the hospital with his wife and they said it will take 4 days for her to get discharged, that he won't be able to work that Monday, I told him not to worry, he should take care of his wife.. I didn't call him for 2days only for me to call today and he didn't pick my calls, I have paid him half of his money and he has only completed the dinning and done part of the parlour... Is it possible that he ran away and abandoned the job?

If you don’t buy from a reliable dealer, even plywood would be better than your HDF board.

Used for only 3 weeks or a month ( this was over about 6 months ago though ). Bohe hole has little water, and the water get sucked up too quickly and, so the plumber recommended a 0.5hp so it can suck water slowly but for a longer duration.

How long have you used this? What is the reason for sale?
