I just don't know how to get a message across to our ministers : they should get their hands off politics ....

The suffering of Nigerians is striking a cord in the realms and its rhythm is targeted at all that pushed up or enthroned what or who is / are responsible for that.

And guess what ? The truth and justice of God doesn't prevent a guilty christian from judgement..... No matter how anointed.

Cos otherwise, you'll be saying God ain't just of which HE is.

You made many salient points but u seem to get ur views wrongly placed in my opinion.
You acknowledged that some churches do have welfare dept. Except u think they do little or repeat the same gifts.
I am not a church administrator nor a pastor but lemme remind u that being a pastor doesn't make one a matured xtian nor a poster boy for genuine spirituality. Yet I know many pastors and churches who help their workers get jobs and offer referals. Even pay school fees for some within their limited means.
I won't be the one to judge the motives and greed of men talk more of men who profess to pursue Gods agenda but if you (like so many other xtians) focus on the " that their might be meat..." as ur motivation for tithing, then u tithe as a favor to Godnor to the church or pastor. U tithe from a sense of duty and it will profit u nothing.
I often advise people to get a revelation of tithing before they begin because motive is everything in Gods kingdom. Tithing and offering with revelation has made me wonderfully blessed.

in reality, we have come a long way to do things well and good. churches are trying and that, if u read my post well, is what it means. but again majority of sane churches are NOT trying in terms of pushing the faith on the physical habitat.

for eg, this is an era of IT, AI, Crypto etc ...... now if a church says it has a seminar on empowerment and dwells on soap making, and bleach now that is "NOT trying" cos it on the long run won't place believers at strategic places to represent the church.

again, I say this without remorse, most of our pastors have given a croocked understanding if tithing to the members and that is out of greed.

I pay tithe and know the nitty gritty for eg one can pay on the altar OR one can pay tithe by giving it to less privilege etc ..... but an average ignorant christian would argue this. and that is because of a programming from the altar.

the altar of today most, are a platform to make people ignorant of Gods word.

they have their devices in words and action ...... I can go on and on but I must stop here.

Firstly, Those great men of God you accused of amassing wealth with church Tithe and offerings are making their money from different degitimate sources. Some of them don't even know the exact figure of Tithe and offerings for each services because they have nothing to do with it. Tithe and offerings are Church money not pastor's money. You knew about these men's affluence because they were principled enough to differentiate between personal money and church money. Church money is spent for church matters.

The law of Value and Reward systems still works in the church, For example when a pastor prays for some one who has been suffering from one chronic afflictions that has defiled medications and the person gets heal, the person may decide to appreciate the man of God by buying him a gift just to appreciate him not because he is paying him for the miracle performed but out of gratitude he or she does that after thanking God because all Glory goes to God.

Most of the things you see men of God drive and wear are gifted by someone and people are still giving them because they are offering values and solutions to people free of charge, yet some of them earn higher than those asking for money, that is to show you their major source is GOD.

As for welfare to the body of Christ, most churches I know engages in massive welfare, I can list them if you want. The church and some pastor's are trying their best to reach out to as many people as possible. The church are playing their roles to the best of their ability, though they may have lapses but the church is working towards perfection. People are being given Jobs in their churches expecially if you are an identified memeber of the assembly. Talents are groomed and raised in different churches, I don't want to call names because I have proofs.

Please know where God wants you to serve Him, I believe if you are in the right place (Church), things would work out in your favour..

Actually, I'd take my point as an advise rather than an accusation as u called it, which is an erroneous take.

What again you must know, is there is a place for action; as in human development. If the church don't give in to that it would pay more for it. Its not about praying .... You don't pray a president into office for example to be a christian but you must first have a christian politician first and foremost.

Donald Trump could affect affairs concerning Christians cos he was a politician not cos of a prayer warrior.

If we don't delve into this reality, na so so lamentation.

Let's look at building an accusation institution in humans who are believers.

We can find similar internal conflicts in the Igbo and delta region collectives.

There will be MASSIVE social disruption and humanitarian crises. Millions of people now based in various parts of Nigeria that are not their states of origin will be categorised as illegal aliens overnight, uprooted, and forced to return 'home'.

Refugee crises would ensue all over the place. Businesses would be lost. Crime would skyrocket. Localised conflicts over access to land by new immigrants would lead to the rise of warlords, and massive bloodshed.
