I just don't know how to get a message across to our ministers : they should get their hands off politics .... The suffering of Nigerians is striking a cord in the realms and its rhythm is targeted at all that pushed up or enthroned what or who is / are responsible for that. And guess what ? The truth and justice of God doesn't prevent a guilty christian from judgement..... No matter how anointed. Cos otherwise, you'll be saying God ain't just of which HE is. I wish our ministers would know this is time to withdraw hands from politics and speak truth to power. You can't be father of all.... No The world should hate your stance as a christian otherwise check your believing |
Something is wrong somewhere : this death was not ordinary.. Except he is to resurrect cos that's the only 2 options : either he resurrects or its a clear indication something has gone wrong somewhere .. If its God, HE doesn't kill untimely ; and if u say Satan, how can Satan kill "an anointed " of God ? So, friends either those two points. |
PAUSE : who wouldn't ? This is a new brainchild (whatsapp group) of the admin for the sole purpose of getting sellers to meet buyers and vice versa. Partnering with an agency that runs errand for people, there is always need for various goods and sevices. And sometimes they arebt found. So I had the idea. These prospects are going to be referred to the whatsapp group created for sellers, just like a ready market. And great an idea, it becomes a win-win, especially to you all sellers. Can you supply your products within or nationwide, either of them ? No problem. But if you can deliver nationwide, its an added advantage as you may not know where the referred prospect might be who needs your product. The is just a brainchild to make buyers and sellers meet. To join the group , link is in my signature.. OR indicate with your WhatsApp contact and I will add you. May The Odds Be In Your Favour |

fykes:Deut 14:28,29 (includes Less privileged etc); Malachi 3:8-10 (Altar/Church). Deut 14:28,29 : 28 At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns, 29 so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the Lord your God may bless you in all the work of your hands. |
fykes:in reality, we have come a long way to do things well and good. churches are trying and that, if u read my post well, is what it means. but again majority of sane churches are NOT trying in terms of pushing the faith on the physical habitat. for eg, this is an era of IT, AI, Crypto etc ...... now if a church says it has a seminar on empowerment and dwells on soap making, and bleach now that is "NOT trying" cos it on the long run won't place believers at strategic places to represent the church. again, I say this without remorse, most of our pastors have given a croocked understanding if tithing to the members and that is out of greed. I pay tithe and know the nitty gritty for eg one can pay on the altar OR one can pay tithe by giving it to less privilege etc ..... but an average ignorant christian would argue this. and that is because of a programming from the altar. the altar of today most, are a platform to make people ignorant of Gods word. they have their devices in words and action ...... I can go on and on but I must stop here. |
wofayouths:Actually, I'd take my point as an advise rather than an accusation as u called it, which is an erroneous take. What again you must know, is there is a place for action; as in human development. If the church don't give in to that it would pay more for it. Its not about praying .... You don't pray a president into office for example to be a christian but you must first have a christian politician first and foremost. Donald Trump could affect affairs concerning Christians cos he was a politician not cos of a prayer warrior. If we don't delve into this reality, na so so lamentation. Let's look at building an accusation institution in humans who are believers. The greed is too much. Can I hear from you, what are tithes used for ?? |
Kriss216:these guys are trying to enthrone something - look deep. remember obasanjo's letter. the north is to be used as a base to lunch it to other parts. but God pass them. |
Draslo:no she is. just that d people who should strive for her failed her |
when they're playing a game, you want them to release her ? they are testing the resolve of Christians(Just like in kwara). but they (Christians) are tooooo docile with pulpit masters quotes - which they call preaching - instead of fellowship that remembers brethren. Nigerian Christians don't know what's coming their way. man, just pray for that girl. Only the true response-insisting call of the God of Elijah can save that girl. may the hand of wickedness never see anyone of goodwill reading this post. |
using this as a premise for tithe paying seems to make Christianity look like it has no substance. but it is not so. See, I have seen that we believers including our pastors , are quite selfish and greedy. we emphasize money for ourselves as pastors/preachers and the members are about themselves and their families. truth be told, if members stop paying, most if not all preachers go go empty. and what baffles me is that evil is growing everyday and they don't see that their greed is the reason. like how can a brother or sister be expected to be coming to church to shout amen and give the one he has when if he joins cult for example, they rally round to give him money at least at the beginning, if she is a runs girl, her colleagues would try to assist her if she had a need, if he is a yahoo boy, and maybe he is being targeted by security agencies and his colleague knows, he informs him to take cover.... bear palour people spend mony for each other on a bad day etc , yet, how many believers stick their head for others in terms of money ? even the welfare some churches do, funds are being raised separately from members again for it. and its so so yam rice groundnut oil etc na rice yam and groundnut oil wey a man wey wan start life need ? what happens to that church worker who has been deligent an now just graduated and needs a job ? why not we look at him or when he backslides now, everywhere go carry the news. what happens to that deligent sister that has been struggling ? what's wrong if she is called and asked, what kind of business does she want to do ?? this is where Christianity would show. cos things are getting out of hand. even Christ said : "make friends with mammon of unrighteousness" we have many talented believers... who is our don jazzy that sticks out Hus neck for that fellow and makes his talent even global ? why do we deceive ourselves ? keep deceiving yourself .... Tithing has its place but what is happening now is not because "So that there shall be meat in my house". It is now people enmassing wealth for themselves yet, Jeff bezos, elon musk etc are richer. |

Hello, pls how much is express international passport ? I need it today-tomorrow. Its not this west African one, but worldwide. thanks |
justtoodark:don't derail the thread. |
TruthHurts1:I agree with your logic |
justtoodark:what you wrote holds no water. meanwhile as the thread goes, u suppose to have noticed everyone give their thoughts without amounting to insults on a tribe. |
justtoodark:you dont know what the unworkability of the same Nigeria is causing Africa. its like a coin - has two sides. Greatness seem to be in individual "Nigerians" and not seeming to be in Nigerians as a group. |
waldigit:. I see |
Rossikki:As much as I see sincerity in your write-up, I still cast genuine doubts. Now let's use this sample : Let's imagine during the Biafra / Nigeria war, the Biafrans were able to stay on their own afterwards, are you saying those issues of internal conflicts would have been, taking cognizance of the reality of how the SE is in nature ? There is still stability despite "internal" disagreements. There would always be a consensus by words or body language. For eg the ESN in SE, we all know didn't get the backing of the govs atleast in the open but with the body language, that body is welcome especially as the "people" seem quite happy with it. Sunday Igboho has haters in the SW who are of Yoruba extraction but what do we see today ? His voice is somewhat "carried" in the SW. So no matter how, it is obvious their is consensus even between disagreeing bodies. so that is washed down as a formidable force. Talking about intertwining of the socio-economic strata : there are countries where secession took place, and they, just like as it may be with Nigeria , got the "intertwining " foundation with their erstwhile country men and women before they went their way. So how then is that so alien to humanity that it is a problem with Nigerians ? As for the wise in Nigeria, they have seen that Nigeria as it is currently is a trap. It is not advancing ... And with thus face is moving towards what you wouldn't wish your enemy. carefully count the series of events overtime in Nigeria (both supposed goid and bad ) and know where the arrow is pointing. That is where you know the wise. |
Doradorwa:you no take permission also from me wey get d thread...... lol to the topic, do u think diplomatically, there would be loss of lives ? and talking about business etc I'd say its not entirely foundation-worthy as the premise for not allowing a better life people believe would be if alone. Again, hope you haven't forgotten even at our backyard here. Igbos were given penny but now what do you see about them with regards business ? so that to me, isn't foundation enough. |
Rossikki:This is what I have been waiting for : is it possible to develope without having a "STORY" ? secondly, mention one nation that is advanced and didn't have to pass through these hurdles. thirdly, going by the idea of being aliens, business disruption etc as u stated, isn't it clear now that actually the mentality of what "breaking a nation " means is the problem Nigerians have. we see it as something that cannot be diplomatically .... and it gives the question : why such ? countries have splitted. and out of that gave birth to great nations. how did they do it ? or they were in another planet ? I don't get it from here. And I wouldn't want to believe all the reason there is against splitting is about comfort (which actually isn't existing and at most, currently, can be called temporal comfort). Temporal Comfort is no comfort brother man |
Hashabiah:indeed they are online. but when prominents use internet, they no longer could be regarded as just "online warriors". the internet is a global community remember that. however, my question has been, what could possibly be a reason for making someone fear to live on its own |
tito44:with such heightened fear, that's truly what you called it. like, I don't get it. are they that "useless and unproductive " that they just conclude they can't amount to anything on their own ? |
Hashabiah:People are afraid. And thing is, its very visible. And Haven't you read ridiculous statements linking war to a simple call for dissolution ? Even when those who want it never mention war ? NOW, what would have brought in a war into such act ? And even if the mention of that was to just discourage people from asking for secession, and not that it was going to lead to the said war, why the discouragement ? why such fear that amounts to discouragment of people wanting to stay on their own; and again if they really mean war, would lead to war ? |
I've noticed that some people visibly fear so much the breaking f Nigeria. You see it in their comments here on nairaland or posts on social media, no matter how they tend to veil that visible panick. And one wonders what could be the reason. Like I don't get why such heightened fear. What are your thoughts ? |
Ojiofor:Well, firstly I ain't IPOB. Second, he that commeth to equity cometh with clean hands. Your intentions are malicious. And that raises the concern that your "fight against evil" or whatever it may be called isn't out of sincerity of heart. And that still means you would do what you want people to believe you're fighting against; only that you DO NOT have the opportunity. |
so ....... finally, this goes to show mefor actually has an ulterior motive and was fronting with "a change of approach to achieve Biafra". when you leave what you should be delivering to enhance your supposed mission (which you said was your mission) and then focus on pulling down someone, then that makes your sincerity questionable. you had better have time for better and futuristic things. Not this balderdash NB : like seriously do they think a " video" would make IPOB adherents to hate or despise KANU ? LOL ... this people never know what honor and respect mean. |
