PoliticsRe: Nigeria’s Total Public Debt Hits ₦‎144.67 Trillion In December 2024 by sulaak(m): 9:24pm On Apr 05, 2025
Brendaniel:
That's how Yorubas destroyed Nigeria for tribal supremacy, apologies to those of them who were against this tribal suprmacy bullshit
A Yoruba man, OBJ, cleared Nigeria's debt in 2005. Buhari increased the external debt from $10 billion to $47 billion. Tinubu may fail, but he has only added $6 billion to Nigeria's debt profile.

You can play the ethnic and tribal card all you like but I bet Yoruba people will prefer to be out of the shithole country. You can keep your Tinubu and Nigeria.

I know emotions are high but this is not the best time for anyone to speak. Non Arewa's will never know the pain our people are going through. We are being persecuted in and outside our lands.

Hausa's are not Fulani's. We are peaceful and learned people.

We love to share.

We deserve to be loved.

All we have done is live peacefully and open our arms to receive everyone, including the Fulani's. But what did we get in return?
You and your people are a liability; you allow the fulani to turn your people into slaves and then travel the length and breath of the country begging. People have to protect their land from impoverished people like you. You have destroyed your land, and now you want to destroy my land.
BusinessRe: Top 10 Strongest Currencies In Africa And World In 2024 by sulaak(m): 4:13pm On Apr 05, 2025
ribbit:
Currency strength is not about exchange rate to the dollar.

An illiterate from vanguard wrote this list.

Currency power is about purchasing power.

If Nigeria redenomiate it's currency like Ghana did and we removed 00 from 1k.
1usd = 1.50usd

Does that change the purchasing power?
Nigeria purchasing power is very weak, the country imports everything including refine oil that it produce

Bluntemperor:
The So Called Marketers Are The Real Enemies Of Nigeria because they Only Protect their Interests - Not the Public Interest - Since Independence!any NIGERIANS are Too Gaulibles As Audiences,so they don't think Deep on what is going on!
The government can regulate the marketers by raising the standard of oil import to E5 and E10 and test any oil imports. The real enemy of Nigeria is the Nigerian government.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Names Nasir Naeem Abdusalam As MD, Ajaokuta Steel Company by sulaak(m): 10:12am On Apr 05, 2025
DesireV:
I doubt he has a career in steel industry, that's if he has ever worked in any steel company. As at 2019 or so, he was a lecturer in the department of physics in university of Abuja.
Tinubu continues to appoint political appointees at the expense of their professional experience. Any prospect of steel industry in Nigeria died with this appointment.

The fool (Tinubu) appointed the head of Renaissance Energy Group and former Shell executive Bayo Ojulari. Who has self-interest in Nigerian oil and gas? This heightens state capture and probably the end of Nigeria's oil and gas industry.

Renaissance Africa Energy Company (RAEC) acquired Shell's onshore oil assets in Nigeria, including the Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC), in a deal completed on March 13, 2025, marking a shift in the Nigerian energy sector

The nepotism of the former drug dealer’s administration is silently becoming too loud ! This is madness ! Hmmmm
If all Tinubu appointments were Igbo, they would be the worst Igbo to be appointed. Tinubu is about state capture with the support of Nigerians, Lebanese and Indians.

Nigeria is in serious trouble.

Typing:
Tinubu is incompetent. We are going to vote out the clueless Tinubu out of office in 2027
Incompetence is the first stage of corruption. Tinubbu has passed incompetence; this is what corrupt state capture looks like. Tinubu doesn't care about Nigeria. This is a business, and Nigeria is the product.

The situation will get significantly worse with falling oil prices, low FX reserves, high imports, a bloated government, and low productivity.

Good Luck, Nigerians.

He later graduated from same UniAbuja with fistclass and was given an appointment. Behold his level now.

Agreed.

But consider the NFF role in this, bringing in incompetent coaches one after the other.

Gernot Rohr for about 5 years was still experimenting

José Peseiro was just not just good enough
Add to that list two useless Nigeria managers, you can understand why the Super Eagles and NFF are super useless.

kettykin:
This is very future proof, the next Nigeria regime should have it in mind to build a futuristic business, technology, industrial and commercial capital for Nigeria by carving out parts of kogi and Edo state bordering river Niger where there's enough space, dredging it via the river niger down to the Atlantic Ocean, there is land very much unutilized around that axis, and build a hyper scale futuristic technology and commercial capital that will host next generation business hubs.
The state, regions, and private enterprises should build new industrial projects and leave the federal government out of it. Nigeria has too much government that never works.

Protest always fail in Nigeria because of association and integration of nonenties known as the yellow ba people.
They don't believe in anything.

They are the most treacherous b@stards u will ever find on earth. Their treacherous ways has always kept them where they are - at the bottom. They are sellouts. Dimwits.
Political power is different from economic power. The yellow bas are the dregs of Nigeria.
Ethnic baiting is why protests will never work. You think by insulting Yoruba people, they will end up supporting your cause.

PoliticsRe: Anambra State Govt Plans Railway Project, To Revitalize Riverport(photos) by sulaak(m): 11:18am On Mar 31, 2025
AustineE1:
Unlike privileged Lagos, where federal government awards a whole lot of intra state lines to Lagos, only for Lagos state govt to link it up with inter state rail lines.
Anambra as a pacesetter state, will do well if the ambitious and very determined governor
can nuture these rail lines to fruition, inspite of the obvious lack of support from FG,it will boost the economy of Anambra and environs.
There are federal lines in the SE and federal ports in SS. The SE governors have been lazy; they should start copying what Lagos has been doing and integrating state infrastructures into federal infrastructure.

Kudos to Soludo, a brilliant CBN governor who is now about to be a brilliant state governor.

A fcking illiterate village palmwine tapper is far more productive and trustworthy, than the useless fcking black government you are proud of.

Your black government have blown the benefit of a young population, arable land and cheap energy and produce useless—town criers like you to publisher their uselesness.

aspabay:
Agriculture is our strength, we have the manpower and resources. Agricultural output guarantee food security, forex and even raw materials for existing factories.

No installation required just cultivate and manage land. Can be achieved within a season unlike factories
Modern agriculture requires heavy investment in machinery, chemicals, and skilled labour. The days of "one man and his hoe" are gone forever.

Nigeria's small-scale farmers cannot deal with the shocks of insecurity, climate change, currency fluctuation and poor logistics. An industrial-scale farmer like Olam can develop instruments that hedge against the risk of insecurity, climate change and unstable currency.

White men are no fools. I wonder why we are happy about this news. They are here to enrich themselves.

They invested in Dangote refinery. Everyone was happy a private refinery was coming on board due to massive investment. Is the fuel cheap now? Only your tears increased.

Don't think Tomatoes will be cheaper when they come. Una fit no fit afford am. They will just be exporting it to their country to make life better there.

How many times have you heard that Nigerian government went to a country to partner with them to boost their own local production?

No way. They have reasonable government that won't sit and allow a foreign country come and take up what belongs to them.

Our leaders are too daft. Yet this country has a lot of resources.
The fuel is not cheap because your useless black government has mortgaged further oil production for the next 10 years. NNPC cannot supply Dangote with crude oil in Naira because they have all been sold.
