[quote author=kingsways post=129882620]Please people should dabbling into spiritual matters they know nothing about..Your earthly father is NOT your God.
Your first salary belongs to God, who is your Heavenly Father. You are not giving it to the Pastor, you are giving it to God.
You can give your second salary to your earthly father if you so wish but certainly not the first.
Your earthly father probably didn’t give you the job, and doesn’t have what it takes to make you excel in and keep the job

Flame333: Sometimes you need to talk less... I don't know what people think about first tithe but I believe that as Christians we need to understand the facts that judgment belongs to God and that pastors, servants of God are the representative of God on earth.. It just the same way Marian criticized Moses unknowning to her that there is a divine connectivity between Moses and God I don't judge pastors... How much can I give to God that is enough for me to go into judgment with him.. You’re blind. For your information; you ain’t giving anything to God but to pastors! |

Antiurchins: The way dollar will jump 🦘🦘🦘 back to 2000 like a kangaroo will be brutal this time because what they have been doing is artificial depreciation of the dollar. Once the reserves they used in servicing the forex finishes, it will go back to high. It's not the first time, Buhari did the same thing. That's the reason Nigerian foreign reserves went down recently. If the naira is naturally appreciating against the dollar, it will instantly reflect on the prices of Products in the country The dollar will be less than 1000 for years to come! |

Rotji: I'm closely your age mate, last year 2023 I strongly contemplated the move to Australia. A primary school classmate studying in UK posted a link on securing fully funded scholarship in Australia for Africans and I got interested, I did some research on what it would take, I discovered that IELST is necessary to actualize the dream so I started gathering materials for the exams. I even contacted a University in Adelaide and was told it wasn't yet time for admissions, I was told to contact some agents that will help with the admission process and all.
I started watching and downloading videos on YouTube about life in Australia and stuff, researching on other available options aside the fully funded scholarships.
In fact I have done a lot to get myself acquainted with life in Australia, but I have a wife and 3 kids and I've been pondering of late whether I should continue exploring the possibilities.
I have eyes only for Australia in terms of moving abroad. Please advise me, is the fully funded scholarship a good option for a family man or there are better options for people like me It’s very competitive get a fully funded scholarship. But if you get it, you should go! |

Business › Re: Naira Redesign Won't Reduce Inflation Or Strengthen Naira by Sultannayef: 12:14pm On Nov 08, 2022 |
Peterobi90: It actually would reduce inflation and strengthen the naira..
If you have over N2tr unaccounted for in the economy, redesign would force that out either into the commerce/economy or making the banks liquid..
The scramble for the new designed naira for restock both for ongoing campaigns and re-oiling the nation would see a less demand for dollar which reduces the rates.. so in essence, there is likely to be an imminent crash on the greenback sometimes between December and January..
It was a good move... Not too soon, not by Dec and January. It will take a while, more than six months. |

Business › Re: CBN Releases $265 Million To Airlines Over Repatriation Challenges by Sultannayef: 11:03pm On Aug 26, 2022 |
linearity: Not related, may even cause dollar to fall.
Foreign Airlines that sold tickets in Naira approached CBN to exchange their Naira to dollar at official rate, so they can repatriate their profit back home to put back into the business, which is normal for any business out there.
Because of dollar scarcity and wanting to still shore-up her dollar reserves, CBN tactical say No by delaying the FX orders.
This delay have a pressure on the black market dollar rates, because Airlines who are under pressure goes through third parties and the black market to repatriate some money, thereby causing increase in dollar price.
With this release by CBN, those pressure on the black market attributed to these Airlines will reduce thereby likely reducing the price of dollar. “because Airlines who are under pressure goes through third parties and the black market to repatriate some money, thereby causing increase in dollar price” Note that airlines operating in Nigeria don’t do that. They wait to get the foreign currency through the CBN. If they try black market, the loss will be massive. |

Itzpetersv: Hello house,
Can I apply for Bsc with my waec that’s over 5 years?
Im 23 years old, (24 February 2023) I’m currently in my final year studying mathematics. I know you can’t wait. But exercise some patience. Use this opportunity to learn programming languages. Once you graduate you don’t have to do NYSC, just apply to any of the master’s programmes I listed. That’s my advice for you. |

My husband is on student visa but he changed school so he applied to extend his visa when it was about to expire which he included our son and I and is going to be 5 months by 10th of this month since we submitted visa application and we haven't been given visa. We are really worried and he used a very good lawyer there in Australia Did he add you as wife/partner when he applied for the initial visa from Nigeria even though you were not going with him? Is your husband a postgraduate student? Did he met the financial and health requirements for the dependents? If the answers are right, you will get the visa in no distant time. If not, there would be more delay. |
