An example is when Jesus healed the blind man in Jericho
In physical literal terms Jesus gave him his sight
But what that signifies in the spiritual meaning is the Lords desire to cure mankind from the state of spiritual blindness. When you see in the bible the word blindness it means spiritual blindness.

Jesus is the light. And the Eye is a symbol of understanding. A healthy eye will absorb light so you can see. Lack of understanding means the eye can't absorb light properly and the person can't see which causes blindness.
The deeper spiritual meaning of the Word of God has more wisdom
