I feel you oo, I have a terrible phobia for close space, you won't catch me in a lift on my own, I have climbed 16 stories building just go avoid going in lift, or sometimes I hang around for people to go in lift with and I jump out wherever folks they get out to avoid being left alone and use stairs to complete the rest, it's a really bad condition , it limits activities and fun sometimes, even in public toilet I don't close the door, just use hand hold the door , in trains or coaches I make sure I go to toilet before boarding as I won't use toilet on board cos of too ting closed space. I hear cognitive behaviour therapy can help with phobias. I once turned down a job when I got to the building and discovered I will be going in the lift , I turned back , that's how bad it is. God Help us
amen oh. Thank God am not alone in my fears. I had imferiority complex early in my dev due to phobias.
HealthRe: My Phobia Story by sumborri: 2:59pm On Jun 30, 2016
My other name is PHOBIA. I have all of them. It has made me live an unhappy life most times but God is on the throne. I am even capable of developing a new phobia with time. I remeber when a mother hen chased me as a child and pecked me all over my body simply because (as I thought at the time) I didn't greet her before passing. Till now as an adult, the sight of a mother hen coming with her kids from the east will make me go west, and if I have to go east in her direction I make sure I say good morning ma or good afternoon. Mi ori aye oshi.

My fear of dangerous heights and claustrophobia is the worst. I believe that's how I will enventually die. From being locked up in a car booth or any enclosed space. I shall definitely not make it out alive

Even with albert einstein as a lecturer to nigerians, nigerian graduates will still be half baked. Go and see the strides students in other african countries with worse university infrastrutures are doing and you will realise nigerian students are crap.

@OP you managed to catch my apt attention when u said u switched on the light to see clearly what was attacking you...so you people sleep with electricity ?

Did this happen in Nigeria or you are abroad?

I didn't believe you at first until u said u removed the bulb during your revenge mission...so true true u people use to have light?

Or do you run your generator till day break? I know some people do this.

Pls explain because for I find it hard to believe that there can be electricity on 2 different days in a week with 2 different light dependent pranks...that's too much of a coincidence...

Its either you are lying or Barth Nnaji is back.
hahahaha. There are many places in nigeria that average 22hours of light per day. Not having light depends on where you live. Anyone in a decent north knows what am saying. So the choice to disbelieve is absolutely at ur perogative.

The 24th of june 2016 is one I will never forget in a hurry, without any provocation I noticed boo was carrying a face. I quickly checked my whatsapp and text messages to ensure I had no implicating evidences there she must have seen. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why she carried a long face. Haven asked and asked I decided to bone her. I live in a detached self contained apartment. When night came to my dismay she went to sleep in the parlour. I slept in the room , but foolishly felt like watching the evil dead . Thus I slept with some scare in me.

I might have slept for an hour when in the darkness something jumped me on the bed, I woke up in fright, all I saw was white, with scattered hair dat was wet . The thing/person kept fighting me seriously to bite me , I shouted and thrashed. I hit my head all over the wall while trying to get away, I wished I could just die and leave my body. The feeling of the wet hair touching me in that darkness as the attack continued made me mad. I was able to get away and as I got to the light switch, I put it on only to see someone adorned in a large whit wrapper, with powder allover her face, and red lipstick smeared on her lips. With a scattered wet hair to match. With my previous scared state which I slept with. My heart couldn't take it anymore. I felt a jolt in my chest region and dats all I remembered.

Thank God I finally fainted or died as I hoped would happen. I woke up on the bed with my friends and boo laughing at me seriously. I couldn't hold tears down anymore. I wept profusely while they laughed at me. All these was a plan to get me because I boasted some months ago that I don't scare easy. No wonder boo set the ground work with carrying a long face. She was my attacker. I was so ashamed I almost had a nervous breakdown. In my sadness one of my buddies told me I should revenge. He works in a univerisity as a technologist in a biology lab. He promised he could get me 20 lagos based rats and a bucket of flying cockroaches from the lab. I thanked him and planned for boo two days later.

You see my babe or EX , hates cockroaches and rats. If one is in a room she will rather sleep outside, I waited till we both fell asleep, I crawled out after bolting all windows, removing the bulb from the room as well as her phone or any torch light. This was to ensure there will be complete darkness and maximum disorientation when the panic starts. I threw the rats inside and emptied the cokroaches. Then I bolted the door. My people come and hear screams, hear crying, I think she fainted many times, she luckliy got to the door with many of the flying cockroaches perching on her and those supersized rats running amork all over the room. All these lasted maybe five minutes or thereabouts before I opened the door. She ran out crying and cussing. In anger she packed her things and left my home while wearing one slippers. Despite my pleas dat it was dark and dangerous, she claimed no theif or ritualist could hurt her worse than I just did, so she would take her chances with them. Do you beileve she left dat late at night.

From that day, she won't pick my calls, I went to her house, she bolted the door, her mum called me to shout at me and accuse me of being childish and almost harming her daughter. Her friends have been calling me to tell me am a devil. Yet nobody remembers what she herself did to me. I have called, sent messages , sent my friends , sent I am sorry gifts yet this babe has hardened her heart. Saying I am vengeful and could kill her if given the chance. What can I do to remedy the situation.

Not only am I about losing my woman, one rat is missing. On getting my friend to catch them we found one missing, which means I have a jumbo size living in my home likely pregnant. This is me with a phobia for rats too. I haven't been sleeping in my home. Thus I am on the verge of losing my woman and my home due to a stupid prank gone wrong.

It's hilarious seeing the brits displaying buyer's remorse after their bigotry inspired BREXIT. Most of the brexiters didn't think it through at all. Plenty were actually gross illiterates concerning the matter but as long as they satisfied their bigotry, it was all well. In fact, the video below will put it in perspective

https://www.facebook.com/212667045793913/videos/212815595779058/

That said however, there is a difference in that the EU is working while Nigeria isn't. This makes the 2 cases a bit different.

Since we've come so far together and intermingled seriously, i would have preferred a proper federal republic going back to the regional setup of the first republic.

However, some believe it will never be well with them in this contraption so if the decision was mine to make, i'll say BREAK THE UNION CALLED NIGERIA and let's all go our separate ways.

Even the North that seems to be disadvantaged will not suffer with all the resources there and the arable land.
I agree with you, yet stilll reteriate the need to plan , discuss, orientate, everyone and all facet of the new countries before any agitations. Agitations should be the last thing. I have absolutely no interest in nigeria anymore, but if the break isn't well thought out nor planned. The seccesionalists could find themselves in a worse situation than nigeria. And start regretting like them silly brits.

If the SS decide to leave, have they defined who and who makes up the SS, have they discussed what system of government they will adopt to ensure equity and fairness, have they discussed trade relations and economic diversity, this applies to all seccesionist areas. Eg SE. These discussions should be discussed and harmonized , fine tuned, and above all dissiminated to all citizens of the likely new formations to enable them make informed judgements on their futures. This way we won't have people having to regret leaving after doing so and finding themselves in the doldrums

Is unity by force.?

What concerns us with the Brits. angry
not at all, yet biafra will be a unified country I presume, thus if we go with ur analogy that unity isn't by force, and we consider the fact that , similarly to the brexit, there are and were no plans after seccesion. When the inevitable suffering comes, guess the only solution would be a clamour for breaking biafra into local governments. With a continual breakage till we get to the husband and wife. Like you said , unity is not by force, yet the broomaker understands the wisdom in unity despite the diffeneces the broom stick length.

On Topic.....

More than 50% of the "Leavers" have been honest enough to own up to the fact that they didn't know their votes would count & they also didn't know the real story about the economics & politics..

Scare mongers did a number on them, then their innate bigotry, ignorance & misplaced /misdirected anger just capped it & sealed their fates..

I've been laughing like no man's business following news about #Bregret and the tweets are so funny however #Post RefRacism leaves a lot to be desired....

Like i will always say, i prefer a restructured Nigeria to tiny inconsiquential blobs on the map, however if go no go, Singapore, Luxemborg , Leitchensten etc may be small but they aren't doing too badly. Shebi Iceland with 300k population dumped the English ballers with their basket mouth press out of Euro 2016...

Small country in peace & prosperity beats a contraption with too much strife & wahala ... less "in house" saboteurs & destructive elements...
if I say I didn't laugh at the response on the first paragraph, then hell awaits me.

The fact is that I feel them brits wanna rescinde their leave decisions but don't wanna appear silly, it made no economic sense to leave the EU, there has been an increase in xenophobic attacks since the brexit result, the UK economy isn't tied to any tangible product and thus its growth indices is heavily dependent to being a major market player, how could such come to be when they have isolated themselves from the rest of europe. Most annoyingly the leave campaigners didn't have any concrete leadership plans if the brexit went in their favour. The behaviour of the scots and possible feelers from other countries that make up the UK , show a possiblity of breaking the UK as we know it, it makes no sense to leave the EU simply because some pompous brits feel overshadowed by germany as the central power base. Yet in a UK arrangement same peeps bully others. Thus I ask, weren't other members of the UK consulted before the brexit vote ? Didnt they realise all the possible fall outs of the result ?

Same applies to seccesionalist groups like the ipob, avengers etc. It might be noble and best fit to leave the nigerian entrapption, yet its clear that what is at fore front is the aggitation and idealogical bias borne out of real or imagined wrongs. Critical issues like political, economic plans, structures and models for the new colonies or countries aren't given much attention. Most of them could acheive the seccesion and find themselves in the doldrums.

The clamour for change always appears the solution to current problems, these changes. Most times result from improperly channeled feelings of anger, inequality andd unfairness. Seccesional change is always an idealogical solution and never a practical one. The outcome of the brexit vote has once again proven that the solution to developmental and radical changes aimed at equity and status quo can never truly be achieved by an ill thought seccesionalist motive.

the UK is currently rudderless, scotland is current sitting in the brussels EU summit while david cameron was denied entry, the UK has been told verbatim that there will be no entry into the EU free market without free rights of passage, the outcome of the brexit not only threatens the unity of the UK, it also threatens its future economy.

What's most baffling appears to be that, major proponents of the leave campaign have ran away or taken the back seat, nobody appears a fore runner to leading the UK or whatever is left of it , into the uncharted waters of the unknown.

I always tell seccesionist groups to plan their move, plan their economic models, plan their politcal models, before the start agitating for seccesion, but all we observe are agitations before any planning or objective considerations are made. Because its always easier to play a victim card filled with tribalism or racism as in the britain case, thus beclouding sound judgement on the merits and demerits of a seccesion.

Nigeria is filled with seccesionalists, take a cue from the brexit and plan before you agitate. Never wipe ur bottom before using the toilet.

I will summarily list these and others could add theirs based on observation.

(1) How dare you wear a "shimmie" or under-skirt and yet allow is to show in public. Not only that such a useless irritating under garment is out of vogue, why let it show , haba I feel like throwing up anytime I see these holy holy babes displaying this evil.

(2) Babe I know I asked you to visit, I even sent transport money, how could you wear "granny panties" and visit a man. Since you know we will everly open dat bootie, why granny panties. The type we see our mothers spread, how do u expect me to have an attraction or erection when you wear the same size of pant with my mother. If the pant tight you for yansh , bring better shape, NA CRIME?

(3) Babe there is a reason men like lesbians and yet hate gays, why do you wear male boxers. Please why. Bum short no dey market ? Isn't it better you stroll around with bare yansh , than to wear an unattractive garment like a male boxers , thus making me lose all apetite for sex ? Biko stop am

(4) When I bite ur Nipples, you go look me bad eye, yet you go bite my own despite say you know its small and any mistake you fit bite am swallow unknowingly, what are you trying to acheive by putting my nipple in harms way.

(5) Its not good dat once you visit and leave for the next one week, na so hair go still dey enter my mouth, hair eveywhere. Loose strands. No matter how I sweep , the hair no dey finsih. Is this a ploy to leave ur mark say u visit ? To cast me before other future babe visitors ? Not fair

(6) You give man ur number, he call you, you say who is this? he explain himself you say you forgoten who he is, he bone you, next week you send him message to please vote for you for miss nairaland contest, how come you take get him number, sabi who get am, even remember say him be nairalander.
