Business › Re: Dangote Refinery To Buy 24 Million Barrels Of US Crude Oil – Bloomberg by sunboy(m): 4:49pm On May 16, 2024 |
rertylentl: Nigeria now importing crude oil from US wonder shall not end. Calm down sir and read. The refinery is 650,000 b/per day. He’s importing 2m b/ month. Do the maths and you’d realize that he’s not only refining the imported 2m per month if he refines is 650k per day. Simple answer is that; Nigerias current crude production is not enough for him, and note that Nigeria currently at 1.2m per day, but then we have other commitments before his refinery came online.. now it’s upto the government to prioritize local refineries supply over exporting our crude. Doesn’t mean the country is bad because he’s importing some crude. The US export crude, yet it is one of the world’s biggest importer of crude from other countries too. Let’s stop looking at the bad side of things every time. |

Yorubas took away their chestbeating and bragging rights and exposed how ordinary they are.
I like to have a good laugh reading through Igbos' frustration and mental breakdown that stem from constant defeat by the Yorubas. 😆 You cant be fighting everybody and at the same time complain that they “gang up” against you … in reality you’re always poking other people then claim victim. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Benin Blocks China’s First Crude Oil Shipment From Niger Over Border Dispute by sunboy(m): 9:21pm On May 11, 2024 |
Dpharisee: Why did Niger block the trucks? It was because of threats from France and ECOWAS, they had to invite Russia knowing that the west will not want a confrontation with Russia which has official invitation in Niger I’ve stated that in my first comment. Let me rephrase it like I would for a 10yrs old. Benin : You can’t consider me an enemy, block me from using your road to export my goods but want to use my port to ship your stuff. Open your roads back for my export route and you can continue to use my port. How’s this too hard to understand ? How's this a France or ecowas thing instead the Benin president reciprocating same favor. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Benin Blocks China’s First Crude Oil Shipment From Niger Over Border Dispute by sunboy(m): 7:37pm On May 11, 2024 |
Dpharisee: French warship landed in Benin to give support to ECOWAS planned military intervention in Niger and there was palpable fear of invasion back then which led to the land border closure by Niger, all that is required now is for Benin to give assurance to Niger that its territory will not be used to attack Niger by any foreign forces. Also note that Niger pays oil transit fees to Benin for the shipments France will not go to a direct war with Niger or any of the Sahel without Ecowas support, plus Russian involvement kinda complicated things for them. That aside, the issue above for nothing to do with the french or the ecowas. It’s a case of, you block my trucks from passing through your country, why should I allow yours to ship from my ports. It’s a tit for tat diplomacy. |

Dpharisee: Benin is a puppet country controlled by France which is angry at Niger for driving them out of their country.
Before the coup France was paying 8 Euros for a KG of Uranium, today Niger is selling its Uranium at 200 Euros per KG and they are bitter about it. Niger is currently the fastest growing economy in Africa, believe me many citizens of Niger Republic doing menial jobs like shoeshiner, Okada, Helper in Nigeria are moving back home gradually. There will be concerted efforts to sabotage their new found freedom from French and American imperialism.
In order to deal with France because of its support for Ukraine, Russia is buying Uranium at international rate from Niger and Iran will start buying soon which means more money.
Russia is also supplying them with free grains and fertiliser and training their forces to fight terrorism brutally like Russia does (called human rights violation by the west).
To show that they are serious, the leader of ISIS in West Africa who has a $10m bounty on his head by America for 10 years was killed this week and the story is here on Nairaland. The leader of bandits in Sokoto was captured by Nigerien forces who entered Nigeria at Illela Sokoto its also here on Nairaland FP this week.
The thread is about Benin and Niger but meanwhile South East which is a recent political creation is landlocked but neither Igboland nor Eastern region is landlocked This got nothing to do with the puppet crap. Niger stop allowing Benin trucks to pass its territory and Benin have many times tried to work with them but they declined. They see Benin and other west African nations as traitors. it is right for Benin to stop their shipment on its own soil too. Only difference is that Benin allowed it to reach the port before stopping it, now China will be forced to intervene cos its money is involved, the Niger will do the needful sharply, Benin gets its truck across Niger again. That’s how geopolitics works. |

There is no way Jews will allow Arab migrants own judea and Samaria. Even your holy book told you Jews own all that place. Those Arab migrants that migrated from Syria after they took over Syria in the year 634 should relocate back to Syria. Don’t tag me to nonsense. OfficialAPCNig: Don't be an ediot.
Military hardware is not something you can just walk in to any store and acquire, no matter how much you have.
The government must first be willing to sell to you and in the case of KSA, the USA and Israeli governments are only willing to sell if KSA normalizes relationship with Israel.
KSA and Israel need the deal to happen, but the former needs it more than Israel.
FACT Saudi does not need aid. It’s one thing for the govt to approve the sales and it’s another to need aid. Saudi is not begging for weapons, it’s buys them. Again, quick to jump at calling people names. So much for civility. |

OfficialAPCNig: Moslems always creating their happiness.
Accepting Palestinian statehood is not a condition for not normalization, but allowing a renewed PUSH.
Again, that clause was just inserted to pander to Saudi majority Moslem sentiment.
FYI, Saudi needs the deal more than Israel.
They need the military aid from USA, the civil nuclear programme technology, and Israeli Iron Dome.
Always read to understand
😂😂😂😂 It is pretty dumb to assume that everybody that supports the Palestinian right to have their own state is a Muslim… pretty dumb to assume that sir. For the record, Saudi does not need military aid, it can afford it. What Saudi need is an ally in Israel against Iran, forming enemy of my enemy. Israel needs that normalization and that’s why Blinken has been traveling across the Middle East for a few months now. Mr ReadToUnderstand think he’s talking to kids. SMH |

ycat: Check your head. There was no mail-in voting then, COVID was created because of mail-in votes. What we had was Absentee ballots for elderly, disabled and other special needs. Absentee ballots is easy to trace because you the voter have to request for it and mail it unlike the mail ballots that is sent unsolicited and then harvested by democrats criminals with names of dogs, cats and dead people, with one person voting 5 times. Tell your father to check his HEAD for not raising you right. Quick to jump on insults. Mail-in voting started in 1978 and national adoption in 1995. Namaster: A FOOLISH notion!
The end result would be a bunch of 12 and 13-year olds that have no grasp of English Language. Instead of them to focus on the Principles of Physics, Accounting or Law in Senior Secondary, teachers would be saddled with teaching them the rudiments of basic English communication.
It'll be difficult to for them to understand new CONCEPTS taught in a new LANGUAGE.
English is the official language in Nigeria that's why schools teach in English. Countries that teach in their mother tongue do it because it's their official language.
Afenifere missed the mark on this one.
English must remain the language of instruction in Nigeria. Parents can communicate with their kids in Yoruba if they are worried about their language going extinct. Are you saying that the Chinese, Japanese, the Spanish or French don’t understand sciences because they weren’t taught in English They can’t force that on the country as a whole, they are pushing the notion for the south west states, if it comes to fruition how does that affects you sef ? |

zegeijuwa: Now I see why netanyahu was thanking the houthis for helping to speed isreali normalization with arabs. They have made more enemies than friends, hitting ships from different countries. The only nation the saudia feared and held down normaliaztion was Iran but now the isrealis has proven iran is not a threat. The saudis already had thaad, watch how they eventually get the iron dome, david sling, arrow and patriot. Iran indees miscalculated. Iran is a big boy and can handle herself same for Israel. Iran has its own alias in the Middle East too so don’t pressure yourself, nothing change with this normalization for Iran, they’ve never been friends with the Saudis. ( Sunni vs Shia rivalry) What is the good news here is that Bibi is being pressured to accept the Palestinian statehood, a two state on one land in other to get recognized by Saudi and other neighbors. That is the real news here, not the Iran BS. |
