happney65: See, Facts are Facts. And what you listed here are not correct.
Tinubu was only able to build 4 so called millimeum schools which you listed above that were already dilapidated before he left government. Four schools in a state of over 20Millon.
The plan was to build one in each of Lagos 20LG's but was only able to build just 4 and before he finished his 8 year term,it was already dilapidated.
He did little or nothing in Lagos. That is what we were telling people shouting Tinubu here and there. Tinubu was only for politicians. Share money here and there.
It was when Fashola came in that things truly started to change and Fashola became the poster boy for the then AC in Nigeria
And do you know,Fashola was almost denied ticket for second term because Tinubu even thought he didn't settle politicians the most, infact PDP were waiting for him until some elders told Tinubu to calm down except they want to lose Lagos
Facts are sacrosanct. He mostly empowered the political class and nothing else. He isn't in the league of best Govornors of Lagos. Infact he should be the worst.
Till tomorrow,Baba kekere,Lateef Jakande is still the best Govornor of Lagos. Tinubu cannot even lace his shoes. His achievement till tomorrow surpass that of Tinubu, After Jakande might be Fashola. You cannot even talk Jakande where Tinubu is at all
P.S. where are those MOD's? Why is this topic not on FP yet?
https://guardian.ng/sunday-magazine/tinubus-millennium-schools-going-the-way-of-others/ Atleast you’re not disputing the few I listed above.. that’s a good start. Here’s a NL link with videos of some inaunguration. https://www.nairaland.com/7387481/throwback-video-tinubu-commissioning-newlyAnd I’m not even arguing Jakande and Tinubu here, Jakande remains the father of modern Lagos cos Tinubu followed through on his Lagos plan. Among the 1999 set of governors, mention one that came close to Asiwaju in Lagos. Let’s not be mixing his achievement as a governor 24yrs ago to his performance as a president abeg. |

Or when Tinubu was in power, they have not invented photography? You need me to go and be taking pictures for you? I went to one of these schools lol, and it was renovated while we were in session then. I just listed the name and their city, go out there and show us if it looks anything that the pictures posted here. Tinubu may be many things to different people, but he remains one of the best governors of the 1999 batch if not the best. While I agree he’s too old for the presidency, not do I support an Obi or Atiku… but we can’t because of our disgust for him discredit his contribution to the development of Lagos. That’s sheer hypocrisy. Peace ✌🏾 |

I can list atleast 3-5 govt schools in my neighborhood that were all rebuilt by Tinubu’s administration.
This is not a topic that can be won though, and all those pictures above are super old.
Here’s a few…. Brand new schools: Abibatu Mogaji Senior Sec, Agege Bola Ige Millennium Senior Sec., Ajeromi; The Millennium Senior Secondary, Egbeda, Babs Fafunwa Millennium Secondary, Ojodu.
Renovated schools: Ran some kuti high school, Jibowu Eko boys high school, Suru lere Birch Freeman high, Surulere
He in fact built or renovated atleast one high school in each LG in Lagos. In Lagos infrastructure, he did well. Might not be doing great as a president but let’s not discredit him. |

My Tanzanian friend said it’s a lie or half truth. They have distribution problem, and thereby producing more than the infrastructure could handle. Doesn’t mean the power gets to everyone. So let’s be careful what we are wishing for. |

Similarly, if you consider Russia as an ally, they too would prioritize their national interests. It's a common practice in geopolitics for countries to engage in alliances that serve their strategic objectives. Thank you for this post. Shaheed Kamikaze drone is sold to Russia at the rate of $196k per unit.
The funny thing is Israel is even the global leader in drone technology. Only Israel controls 60% of the ME market share.
Research how Israeli drones helped Azerbiajan defeat Russian-backed Armenia last year Be calming down. Export cost is around 193k but it’s domestic cost is around 2-10k and the newer variants getting to 20k max. Google is your friend. |

Thats why I hate the people that deceived Zelensky to take on Putin Zelensky knew he had no chance at it, but then… Russia could have retained the Crimea and not invite Ukraine though. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Israeli Attack On Iran Begins Within Hours, Saudi Arabia And Jordan Are Involved by sunboy(m): 4:49am On Apr 16, 2024 |
Difrent: The next world war will likely break out from the middle east.... But can the world afford a costly war in times of great difficulties ? It cost Iran about 50 - 60 millions to deploy those cheap missiles and drones It cost US and ISRAEL about 1 billion USD to intercept them. I hear for the iron dome to intercept a missile cost about $50k Surely war is expensive These bad leaders got money for wars but can't feed the poor.....bastards No world war will happen. If Isreal and Iran choose to go to war, then it will be contained in the ME but the whole world will feel it cos nothing will pass through the strait of homuz. If you can’t afford to prepare for war then you cannot protect your sovereignty, that’s how the world works unfortunately. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Why Israel Is No Match For Iran by sunboy(m): 4:46am On Apr 16, 2024 |
Difrent: Right. Tunnel to Labanon or Syria will have to pass through Israel, so no way. Egypt blocked the Sinai border Crossings and tightly control rafa crossing but the Palestinians are still able to use illegal tunnels in rafa ,and a Hamas battalion is still intact there . But clearly IDF underestimated the resistance this time. There are active tunnels in Gaza that even IDF can’t seem to figure out, known facts but not an imaginary tunnel to Iran… which kind imagination be that. Most of their weapons get smuggled through Egypt, Isreal had a talk with Egypt to address it or they’d see Sinai area as legitimate targets so Egypt has started pouring cement into anyone they find. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Why Israel Is No Match For Iran by sunboy(m): 4:07am On Apr 16, 2024 |
Difrent: It's possible a long tunnel exist that links Palestine..... Possibly to somewhere In Syria or Lebanon but I'm not too sure to Iran. Thats the only possible explanation to why Hamas is still able to fire rockets after 6 months. Clearly IDF underestimated the resistance this time around IDF was demystified on Oct 7 and it's in Bibi and his extremist coalition interest to thread with caution That was how Zelensky was given blanket cover in the beginning, now he is on his knees begging for money and weapons but the Europeans and Americans priority has changed and he has been left out in the cold The same fate awaits Bibi if he doesn't apply the brakes now He said to Iran no possible. Gaza to Lebanon tunnel will have to pass through Isreal, also not possible. Gaza to Syria will also pass through Isreal also not possible. Only known tunnels are from Gaza to Egypt through the Sinai, and Egypt has been blocking them. Let’s stop this beer parlor talks, this is a public forum for God sake. |

Joey4321: Isreal will try to look for what will hurt the Iranians the most. Yup! Most likely the nuclear facilities. And Iran might continue to respond to every attack now until they both decide to go full scale. But then Isreal still had a reputation issue to resolve with the world leaders, following its operations in Gaza. So now might not be the right timing for sure. |
