chopnaira:Edit: You prompted me to go look up the market share of payment processors and right now UnionPay is the market leader. Currently controls 45% of the world’s card spendings, followed by Visa 27% and Master 19%. That’s a 2020 report I just read. It’s free information go read. T for thanks |
Parachoko:No just Germany, nobody even want war on their soil. America, Russia, China all may be powerful, they still don’t want war. |
ObamaMessi:It means they are trying to use the same excuse the West used when invading Iraq and killed Saddam. No weapon of mass destruction was found. Go watch the movie: Greenzone. It’s more of a documentary than a movie. |
Datikwerreboi:Move this to comedy section, you don’t belong here lol Make I educate you small; China does not tolerate any religion, got nothing to do with Muslims. US tolerates all religion. Russia tolerate all religion too, many Russian republics are predominantly Muslims ..the CheChens for instance and those in the Far East. So carry your kata kata comot for here. |
chopnaira:Life exist outside of wherever you are sir… UnionPay is pretty popular around the world, even in the US, Canada, Mexico and UK. Even in Nigeria, many card processors and Nigerian banks are on the network accept Alipay and UnionPay |
chronique:Yup, UK still looking to buy another 2nd worth in a few days lol it’s the hypocrisy for me. |
spyglaxx:Stay sharp! When in war especially with a less powerful nation… sanctions won’t immediately your capabilities nor will it affect your existing weapon systems nor will it affect your generals strategies.. especially with your neighbor. |
Some good news finally. As long as Iran will not enrich to weapon grade and close monitoring channels are opened by the IAEA, it’s all good. Nuclear tech can be used for many civilian techs from medicine to research to power generation. |
Toktee:As things are, doesn’t seem like the war would get to the Russian homeland. |
joyandfaith:Yup! |
Biodun556:It will affect everybody in Europe directly, and the rest of the world indirectly. |
Horus:Yes the Geneva convention stipulated protection for civilians, especially women and children, healthcare, humanitarian path and all that… during a full scale war, every country have been accused of breaking that rule, every country. That’s why I said there’s no rule in war (in reality). If you enemy use able to continue an attack, and you have access to their water won’t you poison the water to weaken them ? Even though the convention goes against that. That’s why I don’t blame what the US did, it’s war. |
ObamaMessi:Sweden and Finland are not NATO members. They declare neutrality but they are Allies of NATO, which means they both qualify for fast track admission if they choose to join the alliance. |
Geniuelander:Unreliable source. Nigerian journalist that can’t even get local news right and now gathering intelligence operations news. Abeg mooooooove! |
What do you expect, propaganda is a weapon especially during a military conflict or war. |
Hanibbal:True. I agree on this. |
Horus:Remember US declared war on Vietnam. All things are fair in war, there are no rules that applies anymore. I don’t the US committed any crimes for doing that, or for dropping a nuclear bomb on Japan till they surrender that’s war! Not some invasion or special op as they are calling this one. |
seunny4lif:Baba Ukraine is not just a neighbor, Ukraine is part of their motherland o. I doubt if the Russian parliament would vote for a full scale war on a small Ukraine, unless Putin choose to do whatever he wants. I think the “war/invasion” is going fine, right now EU and NaTO won’t accept Ukraine anymore and their leader already gone into hiding. Once the military surrender all will be over, OR more weapons keep coming in and the guerrilla never ends. One way or the other. |
1. Ukraine is starting to lean more towards the west since the last President was kicked out and Zelensky got to power. The new president is pro west, a good opportunity for nato and EU to get closer to Russia bother and access to ghe large land mass of border between Ukraine and Russia. Well I know NATO should have expected a response from any Russia leader, the same way Any American leader would respond to Mexico or Canada aligning to Russia militarily. 2. I usually real from both sides… I read Sputnik for the pro Russian, CNN or Fox for pro western and Aljazeera or Vice for a neutral stand. For example; the audio click that said 13 Ukrainian soldiers were killed after telling Russians to Bleep off on that Island it’s all over western media, on Sputnik news their version says 80+ soldiers, and they all surrendered after their clip and were given a bus that took them to Kherson to join their family. So while Russia is till calling this Special OP, the west calls it an invasion. Both sides are right if you think about it, during an invasion you mostly use a small portion of your military and your old weapons but an invasion could sometimes be a declaration of war too just like Iraq and Syria. 3. I don’t know much about Russian economy but it’s been in the news for a while after Crimea situation that Russias been buying gold like crazy, and has so far managed to move upto 50% of its reserves into gold and some into Chinese currency. So I’m really not sure about how this sanctions will affect Russian economy without bleeding EU countries too, especially Germany and UK. The only sanctions that I know for sure that is working is the one against Putin friends, that definitely is very efficient and very personal. |
seunny4lif:Well they haven’t declared a war on Ukraine. I think they might still slow down with hopes for their leader to run into exile or their military to surrender. If they turn Ukraine to a waste land, it will be a burden on Russia to fix all the damaged infrastructure after the war. Just my opinion though. |
spyglaxx:You think if this was a full scale war this wouldn’t be over in 3 days ? Ukraine is their neighbor, it will be dump for Putin to turn his next door neighbor into a waste land. Hence his reason for insisting on special OP cos it’s obvious he’s targeting the military installations and their leader. |
Toktee:Let’s stop this joke. A full scale war in Ukraine would be disastrous. |
Ecomfreecourse:In my opinion… If a nuclear war between the East and West happen, I’d expect all US bases be nuked, and that includes the ones in Africa too. Nuclear fall outs that will easily spread across the rest of Africa due to the poor state of our borders. That is a direct effect. Indirect effect; survivals from East, West may likely move to Africa if Africa has less direct effects. So I’d expect influx of people from around the world from worse affected areas to less affected parts of the world. Nuclear fall outs will most definitely affect all the water, especially pacific and Atlantic. In the end, directly or indirectly… we will all feel the impact of a major nuclear way between East (Russia, China and allies) and West (US and allies) I pray we never get to this level before the world decide to get rid of nuclear weapons. |
yyba:Sorry Russians entering Poland will be a declaration of war with NATO. |
Nobody wants war! That’s a reminder for everybody. Nobody wants war on their homeland. So sad the president think he could drag NATO into this war. |
PrinceOfLagos:So you must see the international airport to be concerned about happening around the world? Your ignorance carry degree ![]() When nuclear war happens between the East and West… you think it won’t affect Africa ? Smh |
Isreal has been dealing with Palestinians for years, can we please extend some sanctions for them too ? Just curious. |
ryloy:Stop displaying your ignorance on a public forum. MRE meals don’t have expiry date, they only use Inspection dates. MRE meals can last more than 10yrs depending on how they are stored. It is standard for military planners to use their oldest stuff before touching their newer stuff. |
Loverofpeace:It’s hard to explain how things work for you. But in layman’s term, America can produce the rockets and more, but for now… the Russian rocket is cheaper. SpaceX is working on reusable rockets that will be cheaper in long term considering it’s usability capabilities and will make the Russian rocket obsolete. It’s been tested and it works, just a few weeks ago the 29 rocket based was unveils to carry the full stack. I know this may be too much for you to comprehend but this is the best I can do for you atm. |
JohnBullMySon:The Russians control the main engine part of it. Yes, NASA has the largest part of it. But like 5-6 countries all combined resources. Nobody can lay claims on the ISS as theirs though. |
JohnBullMySon:Not at the moment. The US is banking on SpaceX and other start up then will eventually make the switch. But for now, the Russian rockets still gets the job done. |
CoronaVirusPro:Olodo, your dealer is mixing his supplies. Stop buying from him. |
