Foreign Affairs › Re: Putin Urges Ukrainian Military To Overthrow Country's Leaders by sunboy(m): 4:47pm On Feb 25, 2022
Rgade:
The EU is a disgrace. NATO is disgraceful.
NATO should have made their stand crystal clear to Ukraine from day one in the event of a Russian invasion; instead of giving them false hope. NATO couldn’t even predict the invasion. It was US intelligence that saw it coming and those one already took military intervention off the table from day one.
If NATO had at least moved their forces quick enough into Ukraine their presence alone might have been enough to deter Putin. It would take a lot of balls for him to shoot at soldiers bearing the NATO tag.
Apart from the UK and France to an extent, no other major European power is even behaving as if anything is happening.
Ukraine should just agree to Russia’s terms for now abeg, tomorrow they go again. Maybe by then NAssTO would give them more support.
Why would NATO move its forces into Ukraine?
Ukraine is not a nato member.

Also what false hope ? Ukraine should have know all along that they alone will have to fight their own war, the best NATO Allie’s can do is support them with weapons not men.
There’s a reason why Finland and Sweden remain neutral.

Looks like a foolish decision, especially to many ignorant ones right here, but that's actually what's best to do.

1. Not all wars or battles are yours to fight. There are wars you win by avoiding them. He who fights and runs will live to fight another day.
2. The war of 21st century is war of supremacy of economy. Any world power that goes into war these days won't recover economically for decades to come. Germany is still paying for the foolishness of Adolf Hitler for plunging the world into WW2
3. The invasion of Ukraine by Russia doesn't concern US directly. Ukraine has never joined NATO officially, so US will be on her own, to go headlong into war with bloodthirsty Putin. The best bet would be NATO against Russia(had it been Ukraine already belongs to NATO), not US all alone.

Nuff said...
You nailed it.

It's end times people..

All talk, no action.

Biden has totally made Washington weak
What is he suppose to do ?
Go to war with Russia because of Ukraine ?
Put US service men on Ukraine soil ?
If Biden tries to put American men on Ukraine soil, that’s the end of his administration.
Americans are not paying taxes to be used for war in another country and lose friends and family while defending Ukraine. This is not an American war!

He’s done the best any president would do, negotiate for peace and rain of sanctions to hit the Russian economy hard, it will definitely affect whole world indirectly anyways.

Ukraine should have known better that no western country would release their men to fight for them, not even Germany or UK.

It’s quit disappointing that Putin is overreaching on this issue, he’s taken Donbas and Luhansk… including crimea… that’s enough for a buffer zone not a full scale match to Kyiv.

I quoted you because I responded to your tagged post.

There is no country you leave that you don’t do immigration either directly or indirectly. Directly in countries that stamp passports on exiting the country, and indirectly for countries that do not stamp passports which is usually done at check-in.
When leaving a country? Nah, only airline checks for the where you’re headed to. What country have you experienced this? I can learn from that.

Good day everyone, I am a biz owner, not doing bad in this country and I wanted Investing More in the country but am scared because of the insecurity in the country and the way they are killing people for rituals, that's why am considering also leaving the country, Another advantage here is that there is alot of opportunities here, I want to put my energy in one of the two, consider the fact election is coming we don't know who will be out next president and how is he going to tackle the insecurity we have in the country and going to revive the country, I need your Advice pls.
1. Travel abroad to hustle, then come back home to settle back and relax ONLY IF…
You have a clear path to get your papers abroad, either going to school or you have family filing for you something like that. If you don’t have that clear path, abroad will waste your time small o.

2. If you don’t have that path, please stay at home invest more. Explore neighboring countries like Benin, Ghana they are very peaceful places. Benin is very much underrated but it’s one of the countries I could retire to if naija never sort it’s leadership problems.

@OP: Your son needs Nigerian passport, if not he’ll have immigration issues at the airport. It’s the Nigerian passport that would be used to get out of Nigeria and the British passport to get into UK. Whoever has dual nationalities must travel with both countries’ passports else he must have the visa of the country he doesn’t have the passport.
First you don’t need to quote me cos I’m not the OP.
2nd, I’ve never been in any country where upon leaving the country I had to pass through their immigration system again, never seen one country that requires that. Unless this is a Nigeria specific thing though, a Nigerian immigration officer could help shed light on this or call the airline for clarifications.

What stopped you from processing Nigeria passport for him while processing the UK passport

He is a dual citizen and supposed to have a Nigeria passport

Well, in the absence of that, be ready to get VISA for him in that UK passport anytime he is coming to Nigeria
Not that hard, they can always apply for a Nigerian passport in the UK too.

@OP; yes he can travel without any immigration issues. He’s leaving Nigeria, should have any reason to present anything. Going back to Nigeria will require a visa or the Nigerian passport.

America should worry about her millions of homeless, high school fees, health care. In America, 75% are living in financial bondage. Biden should worry about fixing that and stop distracting people's attention.

After all, about 50% of the population of Ukraine is somehow linked to Ukraine by blood.
Yen yen yen … na you put the 75% of the population for the bondage ?

Now retracing thier step back is not as easy as it should be. At the same time Iranian nuclear program has taken a leap in advancement to heights it never reached before the JCPOA.

Even the dumb Trump has admitted that the decision to pulled out of deal was simply to please Isreal. It was never about any sound idea or rationality.

God1000:
Two US aircraft carriers accompanied by over 100 war planes and ten other war ships are currently operating in South China sea as what analysts termed an unmistakable demonstration of US naval power to both allies and rivals in Asia.

The South China Sea disputes involve both island and maritime claims within the region by several sovereign states, namely Brunei, the People's Republic of China (PRC), Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. An estimated US$3.37 trillion worth of global trade passes through the South China Sea annually, which accounts for a third of the global maritime trade. 80 percent of China's energy imports and 39.5 percent of China's total trade passes through the South China Sea.

US last week Monday lost one F-35 stealth fighter jet in the region when it crashed into the ocean, but the pilot escaped, US is desperately trying to recover the wreckage before China does to ensure its classified technology doesn't fall into wrong hands, F-35 cost about $100 million each.

F-35 is the most sophisticated war plane America has presently

Abeg the way Russia and China have mastered this hypersonic weapon systems is very commendable with their not so big budget compared to the U.S. military. Atleast you guys now know that every thing does not start and end with America. Cause according to you guys U.S. na the master of all things. In fact i wont even be surprised if you guys say U.S. had been building and storing hypersonic weapons since WW2. grin
Yes they mastered it means there have been multiple failures before it got perfected or mastered in your word.

And show me where I said America is the master of all things? If you can present where I said any of those then stop tagging me into that random thought of yours.

Every technology need series of testing before it can be perfected. China has done over 100s of testings, pretty sure all the 100 was successful.

I don’t see why you people are just happy to jump on any American bad news, when infact this is not a bad news, failures in new technology is considered a part of the process.

I don't know how much her Jeans trouser is.

Behind the three kids is a White Rolls Royce Phantom Worth at least 220 million naira. I cannot identify the other luxury car. The articles in the picture of the three kids are worth at least 250 million naira.

Fatoyinbo's children's clothes in the picture can pay 70% for that old Toyota car he gave his barber but the barber knelt to worship him which is something Fatoyinbo's kids most likely didn't do when their mother bought the clothes for them grin They don't know what it means to sleep with their stomachs empty.

Some of us envy pastors not because they have a better business strategy than us but because they're not taxed. They own everything they earn.

I actually admire Fatoyinbo. He was once a poor students fellowship preacher. Today he's one of the richest clergymen in the country.

You have no excuse not to give your children a better life.
An original balmain don’t start at 35k naira, that’s fake or replica. Balmain T-shirt starts from $450 up.
