A friend just told me that airtel has blocked the BIS plan on other OS apart from blackberry (android inclusive). This has rendered my Samsung galaxy almost practically useless cos I can only surf the net thru opera mini and no social networking enjoyment. Please, if u re still enjoying urs then kindly send the code and how to go about it? Waiting pls....... |

I can't open any android application at all and it's affecting me seriously. I just hope it's not that Airtel has found a way of restricting the BIS plan to Blackberry OS alone? Gurus in the house please help cos my BIS will expire in a couple of days and I still have over 600MB on it. Infact, it's not even working with modem cos I put the sim in my modem and still it refused to connect despite acknowledging the network. |
I got an info from a cousin some time ago that I can use Airtel #1200 BIS subscription on my Samsung android phone. I actually tried it and it worked cos ve enjoyed it for close to three months now but recently after I bought the normal #1200 BIS, all I can do is open webpages thru opera mini. Now, all android applications (what's app, Facebook, eBay, aliexpress, yahoomail and messenger, Google mail and even android market etc) on my phone has refused to work. I can't open any and now left at mercy of just viewing my data waisting away. Once again the data is 1.024gigabyte converted from #1200 Airtel credit for one month. Please help, as I really need to get this problem solved. |
Hhhhhnnnn!!! Fellow Nairalanders, I wonder what you will say when Mimiko kick the bucket like Agagu cos very soon you all will get to know that Dr Olusegun Mimiko looted far more than Dr Olusegun Agagu we are castigating and crucifying even after death. Let them just continue to loot, one thing I am sure of is that the end will surely come some day just like this. Asiwere n koro jo, ti ko si mo eni to maa na (A fool lay up wealth but he knows not who will inherit it). Vanity upon vanity, all is vanity. May His Soul Rest In Peace though... God knows best. |
Maybe I should believe that a user of this SUV is not one of the viewers of this thread. Kindly ensure you drop a piece of information for me here as far as this vehicle is concerned so that I don't make the wrong decision of buying a car that will not make me happy by giving issues. |
Please I need first hand information about Ford Escape (2003-2006) as far as its durability, maintenance, spare part availability, Mechanics technical knowledge is concerned. Thanks, waiting to get comments from users or dealers. |
vladimiros: she is too fat to be a model.. reallyI think ladies suffering from anorexia nervosa now seem to be the ideal one for modeling in our present day Nigeria. For God's sake, where ve we thrown our own description of African beauty? Which I am sure has a little tincture of plumpiness... |

talk2tosep:Why the funny face? Going through your profile I can see you once lived in South Africa, can you please share your experience? |
Godson201333: I would have suggest Europe for you but you might need a budget of over 2 mil for your dream to come through there....Even Germany and Finland that is free tuition will still cost me nothing less than 2.2million naira to start with. So for now, South Africa is still the best bet. Guys, I am still waiting for you to share your experience. |
Godson201333: why go to South Africa to study when there are some nice cheaper countries?A country where Nigerians are being killed everyday,No job abi che you wire wire ni?Thanks for your contribution though, but I want to believe the most of the Nigerians that lost their lives on South Africa must ve in one way or the other not cut their coat according to their cloth. I am going to study and nothing else, moreso it's a PhD program which is strictly research based. What I actually need is 1. To study in a highly rated university (among the best 500 in the world). 2. Get quality education and bag the degree between two and a half to three and a half years. 3. Study somewhere not too far away from home. 4. Above all to ensure my spending (ticket, tuition and living expenses) is between one to two million naira. Please, if you have a better country don't hesitate to say it here for other people to benefit or better still create another thread on the information you have as I wouldn't want this thread to be derailed. Once again, thanks for your contribution and I am looking to hearing/reading more from you. |
Hello my fellow nairalanders, I know there are quite a number of Nigerian students in South Africa there for undergraduate and graduate programs. Having gone through some of their universities, I discovered they have higher ratings than most Nigerian universities. An information gathered from a friend says that one can get through a PhD program with just a million naira (I don't know how far that is true). I will want my fellow Nigerians to share their experience and enlighten some of us about living and studying in this country where we are told that South Africans are hostile towards Nigerians. Please, I don't mind giving it a shot by going there for my PhD (which one will most likely finish and bag the degree within a space of three years) if there are positive reactions and get convincing information. Waiting to hear meaningful contributions from my fellow Nigerians over there... |
Nice one, please am following this thread too cos I am looking forward to going for my PhD in Germany God willing. |
Ajasnoop: When did this people visit Nigeria or did they sneak in through the backdoor?Zimbabwean Prime Minister-Morgan Tsvangirai, Winnie Nelson Mandela, Former Zambian President-Kenneth KaundaIf you watch Emmanuel TV you will know. Even Frederick Chiluba of Zambia once visited him. He said and I quote "The greatest achievement a man can have in his country is to rule over his people as their President, having attained such position in life, I make bold to say it that it is not as great as being a man of God. Prophet T.B. Joshua is a great man of God I respect so much and he has achieved almost the greatest thing a man would dream to achieve in life". |

arbitrage: There is nothing wrong with better offer from your side as nairaland is a big market. So you have not done anything wrong in that regard. The customer has the final decision to make. In fact, if I am in his shoes, i will desire to see several choices and options to choose from and that is the beauty of open market like nairaland and even in a liberalized and deregulated market economy. It's all about the consumer/client/customer being happy at the end. Thanks for your consideration.@Arbitrage, please When will you have PayPal and have time to help me make the payment of the little $12 I talked about? Kindly give me ur price and bank details and let's conclude this deal as my phone is staying too long with the seller. Thanks, waiting to hear from you soon. You can mail me at sunjoks@yahoo.com. |
