Education / Re: Covenant University 2020/2021 School Fees For New Students by sunny777: 8:31am On Dec 06, 2020
flokii:
Glorified secondary school.

Pay such huge amout to learn nothing and obtain printed paper certificate. Reason they dash all of them first class and 2:1 while they go outside to fumble.
How many of their church members can even afford this??

Poverty and ignorance at work. Go and do your research study on just 100 graduate of Covenant University two years after graduation and do the same to one of the grade A public universities in Nigeria. You will understand better. Forget about most of this so called ranking.

Whiterose21:

Here in Abuja you don't pay for clearance form, hence your documents are complete, you are good to go.
For the exit form, you can do it yourself through your student portal except your portal has been blocked.
If you don't do your clearance now, you have to wait till July or there about.

Please, why July?
Education / Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by sunny777: 9:20pm On Mar 13, 2019
Please, graduating students from other study centre, how did you get your Final Clearance Form? it cost #200 at ibadan study centre and Graduate Exit Survey can only be done at the study centre which is #120. To get these two documents, you waste a lot of time. These and other things make the centre look like a disorganized centre. Is this the same with what we have in other centres?
Then if one is not going for the graduation, can such person postpone the clearance?

Career / Re: Help! My Boss Is Taking Credit For My Work by sunny777: 9:04pm On Nov 28, 2018
There are different types of leaders in organizations. The one that normally say I achieve this and another that will say we. Being your boss today doesn't mean that is how it will continue for the next five years or ten years. I have worked under this condition for about four years. You need to be patient and face your work and have faith that your own time will come. My own case was worst than yours but with patience, endurance and perseverance I overcame all. For those advising you to copy higher management any mail you send to your boss, that's not the solution. What is happening now is one of those experience you need to become a good leader tommorow.
The one that was claiming all the glory during my time in the wilderness was my subordinate three years ago. Your time to shine will come. Be patient.

FOR BROAD LEAVES ONLY.

Thanks. That means STRIKER is somehow better 'cos it works on broad leaves and grasses. People should be careful when using this selective Herbicide as some of them have negative effect on crop like maize.
Agriculture / Re: List Of Herbicides And Crops Used With by sunny777: 9:22pm On Jun 14, 2017
I have used striker before but have not used Select. How effective is SELECT in controlling broad leaves and grasses?

Please I need your advice. I am one of those who registered for project when the amount for project registration was #3,000. Two days ago I was informed by some students in my study centre that I will still pay the remaining balance. One even said I should go and check my portal for reset problem would have occurred. Up till this moment my portal is still ok. But what am I going to do if the portal is still ok till exam period? Though, I know I will pay the balance but I was waiting for the money in the old portal to be credited to my e-wallet so that I can add the remaining balance. I have seen the accountant at the study centre but I didn't ask when the balance will be credited to my e-wallet. Please advise me.

Career / Re: This Is Why You Should Never Close Late From Work! by sunny777: 2:47pm On Sep 20, 2016
banmee:

I think the Op's post is for lower level management. Every good manager knows that you are supposed to be the first in and the last to leave the office. To say "never work late" is very misleading. The higher your position in an organization, the larger your responsibilities, and the longer your work hours are.

You are on point. I think the OP has not taking any higher position in an organisation before.

There are lots of jobs that require closing late. It is not because of laziness or whatever you call it. The job is scarce outside and you are saying people should not close late. Sack is loading if the nature of your job demands it and you fail to close late.

I served in Osun state and I can confidently say that 35% of Osun people are thieves and the remaining 65% are gamblers.

THEY STOLE MY PHONE AND I CAN NEVER FORGET IT. WHENEVER I REMEMBER OSUN STATE, I REMEMBER THIEVES AND LOT OF GAMBLERS. Quote me again and have self-induced sleepless night.

You are either a thief or a gambler. Rubbish ex corper.

GTB is worse than First Bank in terms of queue. Go to Awolowo Branch in Ibadan for example, you will know better.

You are right bro.
victorVIC1:

Effectiveness in the world of management simply means doing the right thing while efficiency means doing things right. An employee is said to be effective when he or she often carry out tasks that are in alignment with the organizational or departmental goals while an efficient staff is a staff that seeks to perform assigned duties with the lowest possible cost.Hence, while effectiveness involves the understanding and achievement of set goals and objectives, efficiency on the other hand is concerned with how well resources are utilized to carry out assigned roles and responsibilities. A good employee must be both efficient and effective as the both terms are not mutually exclusive.
