timibare:Lol. So when should youths take charge in this country gansef? Even youths are afraid of playing their role in the country ![]()

Professor of Economics, Pat Utomi has called on the youths to embrace the spirit of entrepreneurship to save the country from its dwindling economic growth. He stated this in a lecture titled, “Saving capitalism from the capitalists” delivered at the fourth convocation ceremony of McPherson University held last week in the institution at Seriki Sotayo, Ogun State. According to him, graduation should be the beginning of a positive new life after several years of preparation on campus, adding that the situation in Nigeria can be likened to the USA of old where graduates particularly youths help the country become present-day America. Utomi, who is the founder of the Centre for Values in Leadership, charged the graduates to carry out their God-given task of using available resources to create new enterprise. Vice-Chancellor, McPherson University, Adeniyi Agunbiade said a total of 92 students from the institution graduated with different honors while 15 had first class. He added that the overall best graduating student, Sunmisola Ibukun Osasona from the Department of Accounting with CGPA of 4.91, bagged eight awards and N310, 000 in prize money. The institution also recognized the duo of Rev. Dr. Wilson Badejo, the University’s visioner and Prof. Israel Adu, its pioneer Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Governing Council, with Honorary Degree awards. Goalnaldo:Same here ooo, I just tire for myself. Madrid cost me 60k Saturday night, Barca wants to do its own today. Who I vex?! |
CHESTER48:Thank God for your mum. But really, self medication is not good. When you feel I'll, the doctor is the first person to talk to, not the chemist/nurse in your area |
fairfora:A key element is missing here, probably you were not told or chose to leave it out.... Did they carry out antibiotic susceptibility test on the Salmonella typhi strain the colleague has in his system? If No, then complete diagnosis was not done and you're probably treating with the wrong antibiotic. On the other hand, if that was done, then the strain of the organism your colleague is carrying is already multi-drug resistant. First advice is to stay off antibiotics for a while, take natural products (agbo from correct source, not streetside concoctions), plus take lots of fermented product (especially probiotic yoghurt to help reduce the Salmonella typhi load and boost the immune system's response). Then the antibiotic can be taken alongside the previous two listed above (antibiotic should be taken after stool MCS, i.e. microscopy, culture and antibiotic sensitivity, has been done by a lab. This will tell what organisms are really causing havoc and the course of antibiotics to use). Wish him speedy recovery. |
Shugavee:Oya bro, understand this.... Rap/HipHop is a culture, not language. Because it started with English language doesn't mean it is English inclined. FYI, rap doesn't always use your everyday English, each rapper adds gutter language and it gets adopted by the community (more like how Fuji musicians "da asha" and "lo ohun" for thugs to use in their everyday life). It recognises all languages as long as you stay true to its tenents: spit bars of originality, societal struggles and... beef! Damn-d-consequences style too is much loved, not him/her being too watchful, slow and scheming (that's for RnB and Blues). Yes, the rapper should be tactical but rap requires the energy of your bars and your demeanor to complement one another, and if both can match then you have fire and its a hit, street and/or mainstream! That's rap&HipHop |
Frankiss44:Heyaaa. Its a pity you don't understand Yoruba rap but CDQ addressed MI wella. The mixtape-like rap is nice, beat is dope and the lyrics match. Gave MI two uppercuts join, not before telling him he's pure street, OPC guy but not a cultist and he'll mess him up if he tries to bring him into the vector fight fully, called him 'ikeregbe' meaning short devil. Try and get the rest, shogbor. CDQ pawon! |
webshopNG:I just heard CDQ's MI diss, na fire!!!! Neva knew we have a coded rapper in CDQ like this ooo! See rap fire in one song! Murdered MI with those two punchlines and hid plenty more. We need more of this mhen! MI don talk pass him mouth, responses required. But honestly, if MI venture talk Olamide for dis beef, badoo go flush am. Gbagbe all d commercial singing ooo Olamide na local rapper from the Dagrin (RIP) school. E go finish MI and if e vex finish, invoke thugs to pursue the guy anywhere for Lagos, make life uncomfortable for him until he respect his elders. |
kenzysmith:We gather dey . Only Tottenham yamutu 2 tickets! |
Listened to MI and crew cypher, Dope! Vector's tetracycline was a fool around warning track, nothing more. The Purge is way better, but a level below MI's cypher in terms of organization and I can relate. Vec's was a somewhat raw combo of niggas prepping for war if they get a response (like vec said in his verse, d other two don dey war already, he's still warming up), but the martelli cypher is well organized as its for commercial purpose, I give it to them. And I heard the Hennessey legends rap... super dope! (Ruggedy and Ikechukwu burst my heard with punchlines and confidence, Blaise did the flow and Illy did the boss thaing like he biggie). You bring rappers from d 90s and '00s and they still killed it in 2019? That's like superlegendary mhen! I'd like to see all these cats (mi, vec et all) do it in 10-20yrs time this good. If Hennessey wana finish this, they need just a track for the boss himself, mode9 (don't think MI would agree to Mode bossing him on the Martelli roster, so Henny or Jack Daniels or d rest lot should snap Mode9 up and make a statement). Patiently waiting for MI's response to vec...... |
GODPUNISHALABI:Actually, this reeks of Benin (Bini, Edo) accent |

odus86:I wrote millions naa baba, calm down. People wey dey rape this country plenty like millions. Many don die still dey rape am, others dey alive. Me and you sef fit dey there based on one or two things we dey do for our backyard. ![]() |
I hope the police have picked up 'China'. If not, this killer singing at Grammy Awards don alert accomplice China ooo. Also shows our Force's many levels of showmanship and stupidity |
odus86:I rather weep for the gargantuan level of my country's decadence than be jealous of one of millions that rape her citizens
|
odus86:Their only difference is one stays with people in power and works for them to enjoy the proceeds of his calculated crimes (MC), the other was a chop alone die alone thief, kidnapper and killer. Stop celebrating mediocrity and wrong values! Yes, Its not new for people of questionable character to be invited guests at higher institutions, even in the US. However, the public outcry would still be there and if the school authorities see it as a legitimate reason to pull such people off, they do, just like Unilag has done. I hope i did not use any harsh words here, apologies if i did. Thank you |

An agbero that allegedly has been fingered in the death of many of his colleagues Agbero that went on record to state that he'd mobilize to destroy certain politicians if they stepped foot in kwara. Agbero that was on video celebrating successful rigging in Ekiti state. Etc... Such a person as special guest at an educational programme in a citadel of learning? In the highest of institutions in the country and you wonder why students and graduates would decide to pick up crime-related activities? This country is at near-ruin. |
ntyce:Yep. Quiet and straight nigga U sef na Unaabite? Same set with seun? (NB: we were in same set) |
kayfra:I know the guy, i think he's a good guy. However, the govt has achieved their aim on him. His credibility has been called to question and by resigning he helped them save salaries of severals months during which his integrity would have been smashed by them. The FG should kindly give him a year's worth of salaries and emoluments. In the end, I feel both ways for him but he should have stuck to his guns from the get go: stay out (sowore) or sit in when invitation accepted (keyamo) |
Richdad50:Richy bia, na madam speak to us today? Which one be Richada again? ![]() Ayam not understanding biko ![]() |
OB7Foreva:Bros stop the joke. It depends on where and why you are there. Its a good country willing to develop. I'll forever have Chandigarh as a favorite city to live in. |
Barryseal:Exactly *thumbs up* |
Barryseal:The second sentence addressed that sir/ma, I just did not spell it out. |
Barryseal:Indomie generation things, not their fault. The only KANU they know played for Olympic team, started club career at Arsenal, then West Brom and Portsmouth |
majamajic:And two more forwards in midfield |
Xisnin:The last paragraph is exactly my grievance with our govt at all levels. Its good to love foreigners but not at the detriment of our brethren. If foreign governments see that our govt puts us first at home, then they'd think twice about mistreating our citizens in their country! And foreigners will behave themselves while visiting ours. |
Xisnin:Well, I understand that angle of yours sha. I'm not saying these are not important, just looking at the high calibre personnel attached to it and I do have my reservations about the modus operandi. The South Africans did not (and do not) accord our businesses over there with similar level (not even up to half of d level) of respect. But because we are Nigeria, our govt loves showing the international community how classy we are while the unattended locals suffer for this posturing and self aggrandizement. If only we truly value our own from here, because charity really does begin at home. Cheers. |
He shouldn't have done this. As a governor, he's above this, let the commissioners do if need be (I do think there's no need for govt checking here, there's insurance people there. Its their job) |
