That’s how oyibo were doing in those days. Move into a strange land, find the most unpopular minority and elevate them above everybody else Now that playbook is no longer working they are changing their strategy |

Krismas:
The Alawite dynasty goes beyond just Bashar Assad And confirm, Russia sold out on Syria You got it. They think only black people can be tribalists. This conflict is being fought across ancient tribal lines. No self-respecting Sunni will allow an Alawite who drinks wine and is not interested in hijab or ramadhan, to rule over him. |

I stopped posting anything some years back simply because I feel I have passed that stage.
BUT the reality is that we are living in a digital age and having an online presence is of some importance. Even though I don’t do it, not having a social media presence is almost like you’re missing out on some aspects of life. Ironically
And evil eye is a real thing, having your image splattered across the internet has some spiritual implications that you can’t really control. |

happney65: No,you're wrong bro. I beg to disagree. There are no elements wanting him to stay. He wanted to stay because his Family has been in the system all these while and he was also brought up thinking it is the right thing to do not because anyone or group believes otherwise.
GEJ would have said he isn't leaving power then and there is nothing anybody can do. His region is the one that feeds the nation. He can decide to activate the Militants in the ND and tell anyone he isnt leaving but he left isn't it? Even when orubebe was at the collation centre trying to uproot things
So what are we saying? It is about integrity and the wishes of the people. If they no longer want you, LEAVE
P.S. Ghana's Ruling Party just conceded defeat today These Al Assad are Alawites who were installed by the West to subdue the Sunni population. Before that they were suffering a harsh existence in the wilderness because they aren’t viewed as “true Muslims”. The “people” never wanted them in the first instance so who is changing it now? The bolded is right…he was drafted in as a family thing and if you look into their history particularly his mother and his uncles…very powerful and ruthless people. Most powerful officials in the Syrian army are from his own ethno-religious background. Who knows if they already sold him or promised him somewhere . GEJ is not comparable owing to the power dynamics of the country…if you remember back then everywhere was getting f*cked up due to broken religious succession following Yaraduas demise. I was in school then watching Orubebe ranting with his eyes bulging out, knowing that it meant nothing. That’s not to say that I disagree with your sentiment. If you’re not wanted by the people you should have some emotional intelligence and be going. But I just don’t believe it’s as simple as that. These people are just faces of the faceless |

aswani: You have been incredibly polite responding to me and I apologise for any undercurrent of aggression you detected from me in our conversation. Child suffering, particularly at the hands of adults, is a sore point for me.
What is paramount is that this man and his wife killed a child, by refusing to take the sick child to a hospital. That they themselves were malnourished means nothing, to me at least.
They made the decision to cause problems for themselves, the child did not at any time sign up for their idiocy.
They had the opportunity to hand the child to their Social Services, or whatever it is called in UK, on their way to their malnourishment utopia.
I don't agree that you can put anything into context when it comes to someone that causes a child to suffer and/or die. Even wild animals have empathy for their young. I am sure they will be suitably slapped around in the different prisons they are. Even prisoners don't play when it comes to child killers. No problem, I could sense the raw emotion from you regarding the horrible way that the innocent boy suffered. I am in no way excusing the actions of the parent but as I said I was responding the original post where somebody mentioned that information overload can make somebody run mad. It was actually a tangential discussion. I do see your point that they shouldn’t have dragged their child into their mess. I was just looking at the issue from the indoctrination angle. Little Sylvester Oromonis father allegedly took the boy to a church and Junior Pope was apparently deposited to the oracle rather than the hospital…which scuppered any chance of survival. Some women in precarious childbirth situations are carried by their husbands to die in churches instead of the hospital. If you look closely at these people they are of at least normal intelligence, yet something inexplicable influences them to make these horrible decisions that lead their loved ones to their deaths. |

Why did he stay put and didn't want to leave?
It still goes down to show how Humans reason and it is just a matter of time for other Dictators to give way That’s what I’m saying, even if he wanted to go there’s a framework entangling him from the background. It’s like asking B*hari what he was doing there. Even at a time when he couldn’t read his speech well or didn’t know that East Germany no longer exists there were some elements still fighting for him to remain there. No excuses please as surely, the hottest part of hell awaits him and his equally evil wife.
Even if he finds a cure for cancer, being a promising science student that you called him, he is evil personified and it is a real shame the UK doesn't have a death penalty to off the child killer. You need to understand the importance of nuance in discussion, the guy and his wife were so malnourished when police caught them that they couldn’t even arrest them without treating them in hospital first. They could barely even stand up or walk. That is different to other child neglect cases where the parent will take care of themselves and purposely mess up the kids. Or beat the kids to d*ath. Plus how can you say “it doesn’t matter” what I’m responding to? So how can you quote me without even knowing the context, |

toyosiolamide: Read the part where the government admitted on not doing enough where they ought to have picked up on safeguarding concerns. Neglecting yourself or your child is enough for adult/child safeguarding in this circumstance. Many serious child abuse cases are not really picked up over there…the only problem is that the child eventually died. We are just hearing about it because the boy is dead otherwise the social service don’t have enough staff and budget to do anything about it. |

Food › Re: Does It Matter If Fish Is Incorporated Into Your Soup This Way? by sunsweet33: 4:44pm On Dec 06, 2024 |
englishmart: Meat is understandable. It has to be precooked to soften it. You don't have to soften fish. And it's not like you throw away the fish broth after cooking. I don't see any difference Yes you are correct. You can wash, season and marinate fish before adding it straight into the pot. You can as well scald it with boiling water to remove the odour and toughen up the skin. It is nonsensical to pre-cook fish, prawns and other seafoods before cooking again as they are already very soft to begin with. You will simply end up with rubbery, overcooked fish that’ will be like chewing stick. Or scattered, over-soft fragments of flesh. People from south south riverine areas understand this better. Their seafood soups always taste good because they still have some nature flavour and texture without overcooking them to death. |

And also how celebrities took a side, here our own celebrities would rather stay quiet so as not to offend anyone.
Shame on all of you..
And I hope that Good-for-nothing INEC is learning a thing or two. The American electoral College didn't need to collate rubbish for two days to favour the ruling party.. It's not about the Individuals but the Country.
And I hope our opposition guys too here can learn a thing or two. That there are no easy path to victory. At some point, you even have to put your life on the line. Trump had two close shaves with death in all of these. But he trudged on for what he believed in.
Lessons for everyone.
Congrats to the winner. What you’re writing is devoid of meaning because Nigerian ruling and opposition do not have ideological differences. So, in that context that’s why our big men blow with the wind. Because our political parties don’t have values in the first place. Not like America or Britain that have actual ideas to argue about. |

Things not working, country falling apart. We should be forming our own Wakanda political system, with laws and customs. But we're still trying to force white men democracy to work here. As it is not working, we admire white men more as their own is working. All you wrote here is just another way of saying that black people HATE themselves. Admiring the white man working in his own system because you can’t cope with the one he violently imposed on you is called SELF-HATE! Notice that since this war started, Saudi Arabia has refrained from publicly criticizing Israel's government since the conflict began. This stance can be attributed to the rivalry between Saudi Arabia and Iran, which supports Hamas and Hezbollah, prominent Shia Muslim groups. That’s it. And a strange paradox exists in which it is mainly Shia Iran, hezbollah and other Shia entities fighting for Palestinian liberation, even though most Palestinian are Sunni and have no time for Shias! |
