They are slimmer and more humble-looking than the previous inhabitants but can they do the job?

Nothing noticeable coming out of that state these days. as opposed to Mr. Umahi when he hit the ground running and brought the whole place up to scratch.

If care is not taken Ebonyi will once again become the backwater of the east, tufiakwa

What if the long clothes gets caught on something and they trip and fall perhaps with a cracked skull?

No be small. Last week as I was outside I saw somebody wearing the whole get-up, including covering her face o, riding a bicycle Up a steep hill.

I was just looking at her until she began to look at me too, two of us just dey look each other. what is the essence doing such to yourself in such harsh weather. If the stuff gets caught in the bicycle spokes now, all the uncovered bystanders will now rush to attend to the lady.

Upon all those ones the person may even be fasting ramadhan. Na wa

It's not true. The knowledgeable ones are still here because not everybody wants to japa.

Most of those quacks are not qualified Pharmacists. They're non Pharmacists who are using the licenses of Pharmacists to operate illegally. There are still many knowledgeable Pharmacists out there!

Well, If you say so! I’ll continue with my fruit and vegetables since prevention is better than cure!

Foreign Affairs / Re: War In Sudan: Over 9 Million People Displaced by sunsweet33: 10:07am On Apr 06
I remember reading some time ago that when some of these Sudanese and Somali escape to Egypt as refugees, the Egyptian government will collect the Aid allocation meant for them and divert it to Syrian and Palestinian refugees.

Even when they want to go to school, they will tell them all the schools are full and that there’s no space to accommodate them.

Then the Syrian and Palestinian refugees will enter the same schools without any problem.

I just don’t know what sin black people must have committed in another life to warrant all this embarrassment. I just can’t understand it

Result of poor healthcare-seeking attitudes!

Nigerians have well trained healthcare professionals but many of us fail to seek care from these professionals but would rather rely on quacks and religion as against going to these trained professionals.

Well don’t you think most of the knowledgable ones have already escaped to greener climes, especially in places like Kogi that were already deserted in the first place?

Brain drain no be anybody mate o…even half of the pharmacists you find in affluent areas are quacks!

Yes in snacks or pastries there would be a set ratio for butter to flour. But some of our native foods get messed up without the oil if you’re not smart about cooking them.

Go village, the people eat roasted or
boiled yam with plain palm oil and they
are as healthy as fkcu...

Your food is totally an unbalanced meal
of high carbohydrates, no vegetables,
protein, minerals, micronutrients or enough oil...

Simple crayfish & N100 vegetable would
have changed the narrative..

Worst yam porridge ever seen. Shocking
how it came on FP.

This current picture not mine.

I have no idea what you’re firing about, I’m referring to the yam pottage you posted and not the one in the OP. Since I didn’t cook the one in the OP.

It looks nice but unfortunately the amount of oil is not healthy. That’s how my own would have been looking but I restricted palm oil and supplanted with stew. It’s was tasty sha but quite dry.

I don’t know why our African food gets fückdddd up when there’s not too much oil, chai

Good one, I know some people will not appreciate this. This can be automated for mass processing

That’s actually the issue, not that people are Too lazy to farm.

Outdated and time-consuming methods and lack of infrastructure that prevents products from being stored, transported and utilised efficiently.

So much produce is wasted where other countries at least try to preserve by drying or curing if they can’t store any longer.

Not good enough excuse she was not going to live forever and the irresponsible son will still be the king. 96 years was too much to still be a queen 🫅 when your heir is getting old .

Yes and she controlled the damage done by limiting his years on the throne.

The guy married his side chic in front of the whole world Yet he is the head of the Anglican Church.

It does bring them in a lot of tourist income though. Still, I see your point. Even then, none of the main parties, and even the nationalist SNP has the UK being a republic on its platform. (SNP wants independence for Scotland, and the British Monarch would still be in charge.)

Yes, tourists from all over the world are happy to go and see them which is normal.

Their historical and cultural relevance can’t be disputed but half of those guys are crying that they can’t even afford to feed their families. So no need for political parties to focus on what is a relatively peripheral issue.

PS Scotland isn’t going anywhere! Lol!

Even then most British people view abdication with a lot of distaste.

After all Lizzie Windsor's papa could have abdicated as he too was not in good health either for much of the last 2 years of his reign

Most Britons, especially young ones are not invested in the monarchy to the point of emotion. It’s just a curiosity or a cultural artefact that bears no proper relevance to their everyday lives.

Africans and maybe some other global south locations seem even more bothered about it (unfortunately)

More like she had a strong sense of something called 'duty'.

Also, the last king to abdicate was viewed as a piece of trash for doing so . HIs brother, niece and relatives took note.

We are saying the same thing, she felt that duty cos she had a better reputation than Charles. If not, staying until the age of 90-something couldnt have been necessary.

The last guy abdicated for a totally different reason which caused him to be viewed as “trash” as you put it. Not that he was “trashed” just because he abdicated.

i wish him al the best anyway since pancreatic cancer is notoriously aggressive. I wonder how they didn’t manage to catch it on time with all those royal doctors walking around there, nawa o

Former Queen really wasted this man time as a king
Now William Will enjoy throne more.

Not exactly true, she couldn’t come down from that oche eze on time cos dude was too irresponsible.

In fact at 75 he could have abdicated straight to William if not that their family is too dysfunctional.

I like minimalism but not the way it is used to look superior, houses with patterns and character are ok too.
