Sam do you know that Bankman just Fried.

Which Bankman?

Sam Bankman Fried nah

It seems this guy is Jewish of Ashkenazi origins which means his name pronounced “Freed” not fried cos his ancestors spoke some kind of German-like language.

I am interested to see how this man will fare without a wife.

It has been speculated that unmarried leaders perform worse than married ones due to lack of support and “pillow talk” before making decisions.

To be honest, you’re right but it’s overkill. How can you send a pregnant woman to dirty Nigerian prison, damn! I think he should have sued for defamation instead

Not only that, have you people noticed that our seasoning cubes leave our food with this glowing, fluorescent yellow colour? ?

Is that supposed to be a natural food colouring…I personally don’t think so

In some countries where Africans are selling cubes in the market, oyibo police will come and SEIZE them as contraband. 🤨 hmm

The normal thing to do in such situations is, instantly I will tell them that this is too much, that just 2 or 4 pieces is okay. That is what is expected of a sensible person to do.
Can you even finish that whole meat without leading to one form of problems to your stomach and digestive system

Hahaha. If you check well you can see that most of that meat is even blubber/excess collagen. Not to be taken in excess after 6PM to avoid had I known hahaha 🤣

rillchritty:

It depends on the level of precision required in the application. If your application involves computation with numbers as large as 8*10^67, then surely, the precision offered by common calculators is going to be inadequate.

So what is the difference between you who intuitively noticed that the stuff was too big for a calculator and all these other people who were confident that the answer was zero…don’t you think the question was already flawed…

You are just John the Baptist in here cos what you’re exclaiming into the wilderness was already lost on 99% of the population smh…

Imagine someone using these things for a government department or a bank..if we take this thread as a sample, most people won’t even get it..which means after 1 calculation the whole place has already collapsed…hahaha

rillchritty:

Yes, I can authoritatively say that they are all wrong! I explained in my original reply why a calculator that does not have capacity for variable precision arithmetic CANNOT correctly evaluate the expression.

Well…in the modern world it’s more sensible to use a calculators and AI robots…in consequence you can see the whole page littered with wrong answers…never mind.. 🤷🏾‍♀️
Education / Re: Who Can Solve This Maths? by sunsweet33: 10:45pm On Mar 27
rillchritty:
The answer is approximately 1-1/e = 0.632. I will upload the workings when I get to my laptop.

Edit:
See the attached image for the evaluation

Everybody is saying it’s 0, does it mean all their calculators are faulty…
Education / Re: Who Can Solve This Maths? by sunsweet33: 10:08pm On Mar 27
Anything raised to the power of -1 means it becomes a fraction with 1 as the numerator…that’s all I gat…

Bhet wait o, somebody on page 1 is using e/natural log. That is 2.7 bla bla. Where did you people get that one?

Abeg Wetin consign e for the matter lmao I hope my secondary school teacher won’t catch me asking rubbish question here 😆

You have a few options

1. Totally ignore him and refuse to talk to him at all until he gives up

2. Confront him with the issue and see if he makes any tangible plan to help himself

3. Slowly withdraw from the friendship over a long period of time and give increasingly cold shoulders and snubs without being too obvious, until he gives up.

And forget “looking like you hate him”. Some people you meet can totally derail your life to the point of no return.

There’s one thread on FP showing up to 5 young boys totally destroyed by hard drugs. It’s impossible to tell who introduced it to who or who started out as a shining star because all of them are goners.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Human Traffickers Are Luring Nigerians With Fake $900 Pay Jobs - NAPTIP by sunsweet33: 4:13pm On Mar 26
o123456789:
NAPTIP is very wrong on this statement, most people running out of Nigeria know what they are going into, their mind is already made up that they can't make it in Nigeria. I am reporting from Benin City Edo State, over here in Edo there are numerous jingles on radio warning about migration, but many are hell bent on Japa even with all the dangers involved. There was a recent case in Benin City Edo State where a middle aged man lodged over 10 young girls in a hotel where he was carrying out marathon sex on these girls for over two weeks. When the man and the girls were arrested, the girls confessed that they were engaging in sex with the trafficker as part of training because the man told them that they will work as prostitutes abroad. Those that are being trafficked and the traffickers are all the same ten-and-ten-pence, no victim.

But I think this bini saga should have been dealt with by now. I’ve been hearing this italy story since I was a small kid. Can’t they stop that rubbish? No opportunity in Benin city apart from slavery??

Depends on your individual situation. The menial job can probably also teach you some skills like updating your English diction, Custer service (which is almost zero in Nigeria), timekeeping (also zero here) and all the rest.

The main thing is not to fall into one-kind depression sha…with that their cursed weather…everywhere dull and grey by 8AM in the morning…haba…

Celebrities / Re: Nollywood Actor, Amaechi Muonagor, Dies Of Kidney Failure by sunsweet33: 11:21pm On Mar 24
Objectivist04:

Music is quite different from movie, in music, the artist is his own CEO whereas in movies, the owner is the producer who most of the times don't even appear in the movie.

The actors you see in the movies are paid for their services and that is all, any other income generated by the movie is none of their business, it is a one off payment for the actors and that is why some of them dive into production as well.

It is just like a client hiring you as an engineer to construct a house for him, you negotiate price with him and he pays you and you delivers the job,. It will sound funny for you to come back some years later to tell the owner that he supposed to share the money generated from rent with you.

Have you heard of royalties/residuals? That’s what I believe they should be getting since their movies crossed over from vcd format to streaming platforms. Even if it’s too small, it’s better than nothing.
Celebrities / Re: Nollywood Actor, Amaechi Muonagor, Dies Of Kidney Failure by sunsweet33: 10:18pm On Mar 24
Objectivist04:
.

I appreciate this information but I used “older generation” meaning that he is not from the current crop of gospel musicians who release their music mainly on streaming platforms.

That ngozi chukwu stuff came out so many years ago on old media format like vcd/audio cassette but the man still managed to update himself and capitalise on it. I even saw him live-streaming on tiktok some time ago.

I think it should be better than these nollywood films being uploaded and streamed without any revenue reaching the original cast. And later we see one heartbreaking video of respectable actor lying naked in a dirty hospital.

He should be near or above 70yrs.

The truth is, African actors of the past were shortchanged, they earned peanut while producers, marketers and distributors made all the money

I think the family members of these old-time actors should be helping Them out.

Do you know how many times their films are played and replayed on YouTube every day? Not even just in Nigeria but across Africa, the Caribbean and all over the world.

These first-generation guys like nkem owoh, Pete Edochie and patience ozokwo should be earning some type of royalties from all these streams but I’m sure they don’t get a dime. That’s how they end up begging for alms to travel to india for checkup. Just imagine.

The gospel artist Mich C Philip is from the old generation but he made sure most of the copies of his music on YouTube were deleted. You can only listen to his “Ngozi Chukwu” from his official page where he can get something out of it.

These actors children should try to bring them into 2024 abeg

A few days ago somebody brought his aunties case here asking for advice for her hormonal issues.

I followed the thread because I was interested in seeing other peoples opinions but 80% of the comments were useless.

Now on the issue of micropenis, experts full here.

The same people who refuse to take women’s issues seriously will now complain that women don’t engage with them meaningfully. Hypocrites.

Stop eating surgery things and do more exercise that's all.

I think so. I once experienced an unusually painful cramp that I couldn’t even stand up. But I was desperate to get to the store and buy some things.

After forcing myself to walk for maybe 15 minutes, the pains disappeared without me realising…by the time I got back home that’s when I even remembered the whole thing…
