My SOWP application was approved and my medicals, eligibility and everything was updated the same day.
I and my husband got married after his visa approval and we knew that might pose a lot of problems for us, so, we attached a lot of documents for proof of our relationship.

A separate SOP for proof of our relationship
Our wedding certificate
Pictures while we were dating
Email exchanges from the year 2019
Financial transactions from both of us since the year 2019 till date
Whatsapp chat exchanges
Screenshots of my husband's client information when he applied to show my pictures and pictures of US
Pictures with our parents
Pictures of us hanging out
Pictures of us on my graduation
Pictures of our pre-wedding shots
Pictures of us in the house
Pictures of us at the airport on the day he travelled
Screenshots of us on video Calls after he got to Canada
We added support letters from our parents
My mom's and father-in-law’s National ID cards

NOTE: We didn't add any of our wedding pictures(the photographer messed it up)

For our Proof of relationship SOP
We added a column explaining to the VO why we got married after our visa approval (we answered the question we knew the VO might have)
We added another column telling the VO why we had an intimate wedding ceremony

Proof of funds
My husband showed proof of funds in his foreign account
Note: I didn't show any financial documents from my end as my account was a bit low.
Landed documents
Pieces of evidence to show he has frequent access to that bank account
My husband showed his tenancy agreement and receipts.

We added some other documents but in all, it was just pure favour and mercy.
To everyone on the line for this miracle, God will come through for you.

Second time applicant.
Date of application: 31/12/2023
Eligibility review, medicals etc were update same day as PPR
PPR: 29/02/2024

First application was refused on 01/12/2023 ( reason: not enough proof that my spouse is in a DLI) then for my 2 kids they stated that they won't return.

I just thank God that it's finally approved cos the wait can be very depressing. I wish everyone the very best and I pray that God will perfect what he started, Amen.

So far the proof of funds is in place, she is good to go.
I will advise you can start looking out for jobs in canada ahead of time.

Hi everyone, pls for those that submitted their passport, how long does it take to receive it. Also, do I need to pay for biometrics for my kids when submitting their passport. My husband and children got their PPR today and they want to submit their passport.

Application/AOR: December 18th
Medicals Passed: February 6th
PPR: February 20th

Sending emails and webforms I believe can really trigger the processing.

Please I just got a request letter from IRCC for my husband’s SOWP Application, I was asked to submit complete school fees payment, enrollment letter and confirmation of enrollment.
I have not paid the full school fees only full first semester and the second semester payment is due on the 1st of April.
Please is it possible I submit the first semester payment only without paying the second semester. Please help. It’s Urgent!!! Deadline to submit to IRCC is 14th of February

My husband applied for Sop 13th of November, he did his biometric 23rd of November and his application has been on in progress since then, no update since the day of his biometric, even his medicals is yet to be uploaded and he did upfront

Hi everyone,

We called IRCC from inside Canada on Friday with my spouse on the phone with me so as to give authority to release personal information related to her sowp application. The agent would not tell us exactly what was happening to her application just the basic things we know on the portal, nothing different. They told us that we will have feedback once the visa officer is done with it and that they can't tell us as agent.

However, we asked about which center is looking at the application and they told us Primary is RROC , that is the Rapid Response Operation Center and the secondary is Nairobi office.

My question is what does our application being at the RROC mean? Application submitted 28th October with upfront medical which has not be treated. Biometrics passed November 10th.



I submitted my SWOP on 18th october 2023 before my wife travel 15th december and also did upfront medical, till now only my biometrics was updated while medical is not updated yet... i track it and i find out my background verification is on progress.. my mental health is affected day by dad cos i wait to see my wife, we got married like 7months ago.

Anyone else experienced this Primary RROC and secondary Nairobi thing before. This is tiring.

Applied for a family of 3 on September 14th. Two weeks After I got to Canada
wife refused on November 18 because she did not provide enough proof that her husband is a DLI student
applied for GCMS not and resubmitted without receiving the note
Medical passed December 15th for wife and last child
medical passed on January 12 for the first Child
PPR 18th for all 3
Again don't give up.

For you too trying to reunite with your family don't stop trying.

Good day to all the Gurus in the house,
please we are in a dilemma and need your help and contributions.
We submitted application for spousal open work permit on December 2022 and a visiting visa for our 2years old son and till now we are yet to get a response from IRCC.
Updated proof of account was requested on May 2023 and it was submitted.
Medicals was requested on June 2023, son's medicals was updated to pass June 30, 2023
Spouse medical was updated to pass July 08, 2023 and since then we are yet to get any response from IRCC.
GCMS notes has been requested multiple times now and the notes says recommend interview for son , and eligibility passed for spouse.
We have sent numerous webforms but no response
sent mails and no response still.
We have also contacted the MP on November and he said IRCC said they will expedite the application.
but as at of present no response.
Please what next can we do .

Hi everyone and good day. I recently applied for SOWP, SP & Visit visa for my spouse, 11 Yrs old daughter and 1yr old son. Their application has been approved but my son did not get the letter of introduction for his visitor's visa. Everyone got theirs. Is it normal? Please kindly advise. Thanks.

Please oo, my wife's SOWP has been approved but my 2-year-old daughter's own with a visit visa o, has not been approved.
Has anyone experienced this? if you have, how long more did it take before they approved? wiffy has been approved since last week oo.

* for those who will ask when we applied, it was October 10th and there was no other update apart from Biometric before approval and medical on the same day*

I applied in October. It was rejected lat week. With all the documents you stated above, was your application refused too?
