1. Can I kiss you?
It’s generally not a good idea to ask her before going in for the kiss.

Assuming you’re on a date and that the circumstances are right, it’s ‘less square’ to just go for it.

Why?

First off, there are plenty of ways to test the water without vocalizing the request (raise a hand to her cheek and brush her hair out of her face. If she pulls back a bit from your touch, you know the kiss is a no-go).

Secondly, asking for a kiss isn’t necessarily wrong by itself. But it puts you at risk of sacrificing your masculine frame.

For best results, make sure to test the water with some innocuous touching/flirting first, then go in for the smooth move when her body language has given you the ‘green light.’

Good morning. This issue has been bothering me for a long time, and I feel like it's too sensitive to ask for second opinions from people I know so I figured I'd maybe ask some strangers on the internet.

I've been with my boyfriend for about 6 months now and he's everything I ever wanted in a man. Physically, he's gorgeous, and he also loves me alot. He's kind, he's patient, communicates effectively and all. You know, all the good stuff.

But here's the problem, he [b]cannot hold a conversation [/b]beyond "what are you doing" , "what did you eat" (and all that boring stuff) to save his life. I'm not even talking about intellectual conversations like quantum theory or anything, normal conversations about stuff that's happening around the world or around us. Anytime we try to, it usually fails spectacularly. He either ends up missing the ENTIRE point and saying something totally unrelated, or he just waits for me to say what I think so he can go "Yeeaaaa that's true" , leaving me really pissed.


He has absolutely NOTHING intelligent to contribute to any serious conversation, and this hurts me alot because it is a HUGE turn off and I'm slowly losing interest in him. It's a very tricky situation because he does/did well academically, he graduated with very good grades but that's about it...nothing more. I didn't notice it at first - before we started dating, or I would never have dated him because it is a deal breaker for me.

I have considered telling him but I don't exactly know how to approach the conversation without being rude/insensitive, I know telling him would really hurt him and I don't want that. I've also thought about learning how to live with it, because no one is perfect right? Maybe I'm asking for too much?

The latter option is what I've been doing and it's gradually killing me. I fear that I'll fall out of love completely with him and end up hating myself for ruining a good thing, because he's a really good guy .

I'd like to know what you think

I work in an organization where we deal with customers on a daily basis, Sometimes customers will have issues with their transactions,and we will call our boss about the customers complaints, all the time we call him (he is not always around) he will tell us he will get back to us,most times he won't, meanwhile the customer is waiting, sometimes he or she will rain abuses on us, telling us how incompetent our boss is,
Fast forward to last week,I wrote him a text about this particular issue, the text is as follows (sir pls,always endeavor to get back to us on time,because not all customers have the patient to wait,the few ones that can wait won't leave without saying series of degrading comments)that is how my boss drive straight to the office from wherever he was,and started raining insults on me,that who gave me the guts to write to him in such manner, I just open mouth. I was like, sir I didn't mean it that way o.I was just trying to let u know the issues we face here on a daily basis. He just no wan hear o.

I heard from a colleague that he threatened to fire me because of the text,that they were the ones that begged him not to.

Yesterday was my off day,(we work Monday to Saturdays) u are only allowed off once a month on Saturdays only,we the staff have a roster for rotating it.)
I was at home relaxing when he called me shouting at his end,y didn't I give him notice before I took my off.

Conclusion: This job is adding no meaning to my life,on top of being bombarded every day with insults from customers and boss.Now my colleagues are saying I should apologize to him.

I understand How you feel Op. I have been in similar position b4. Pls don't quit until you get another job. Intensify your search for a better job, it would come. Also know that one has to be extremely careful with written messages as it can always be referred to. In that light I would say it's is wrong to say "Pls always endeavour" to you boss. Forget the pls... always endeavour is a command (disrespectful).I would rather you don't text him at all, but if you must, It would have been better if you said "Sir, Please I would love if you could respond on time so as to attend to customers promptly thereby increasing customer relationship and continuity as customers seems to be in haste at times."...
Customers insults are nothing. Learn to shield yourself from their insults, don't ever take their insults personal. As long as you keep working with customers anywhere you go, you will have to learn to deal with their various behaviour. I wish you all the best

Today is my brother's wedding. He asked me to get a matching Black wedding suit for hm n myself. (I am hs bstman) in December because I ordered things a lot online.

I tell him DT d suit will cost us 30k each. He sent me 60k.
But I saw a cheap suit on JUMIA. Dey say It is foreign n I ordered for two.(1 for him & one 4 me) I bought it 8,900 each.

Good day eligible nairalanders, pls i need advice as regards purchase of a sewing machine. i have seen these portable machines on jumia selling btw the range of 5000 to 10,000 and i reallt need a machine that i can easily move with.
