A girl I have been keeping for almost 2 years - with the hope of marrying her once I pass out from here in NDA - just disappointed me, thereby shattering me to pieces. Right now, am in pains.

However, I pondered how my babe who has been disturbing and informing me on how 'conjirized' she is suddenly feel not too excited coming to see me dispite being aware that I came home on Tuesday(17th) night.

Time ticked to 4pm yesterday, I didn't see her. I exercised patience till 5pm before I gave her call, but she didn't pick. I called for the second time but no picking again. I decided to hold dowm my anger and not to call her again for the day. Around 15mins to 6pm, she called back saying that her phone was on silent. I ask why, and she told me she would explain when she reached my home that she was running short of airtime.

Finally, she came and apologized after explanation of what led to her phone being on silent. I asked her never to worry that am not holding anything against her, that she should be free.

However, situation changed the moment I tried making love with her as she undressed. Down her private part, I perceived the 'SCENT of CONDOM', and that was it. I enquired why she smells of condom there, but she couldn't give me coherent and articulate answer.

Being furious, I slapped and pushed her out of my compound.

Today in the afternoon, I sent her final warning to stay clear from me or I will shoot her skull to pieces.

What the Bible say about the state of the dead

Ecclesiates 9:5,10 says the living are conscious that they will die but the dead they know nothing for all their hates love work perishes with them the moment they die,

Psalm 146:4 states his spirit goes out, he goes back to the ground on that day his thoughts do perish

Ezekekel 18:4:states a soul that is sinning will die meaning a person who commit sin will die

When God destroyed SODOM and GOMORRAH with fire for immoral activities the fire is no longer burning or neither the people of Sodom and Gomorrah are tormenting in 'HELL' rather they where totally destroyed and Sodom and Gomorrah still remain in ruins down to this day

the Bible said in Psalm 9:17;that the wicked would be turned into hell..... and all nations that forget God (HELL): here refer to death or destruction that God would executes on evil doers on the last day

many of the early Bible translators rendered shéol,Hades,and Gehenna by the word Hell these Hebrew and Greek words simply meant the grave AND NOT AN EVERLASTING BURNING FIRE

First and foremost this was an illustration as u know Jesus uses illustrations alot during his teachings e.g the ten virgins,the sower, the prodigal son etc back to the question
During Jesus times we had the Pharisees a group of self acclaimed followers of god they viewed d common people of the land with contempt or as sinners and see them selves as Superior or most righteous this led them to a faceoff with Jesus pls read Luke 16:14 -31 here the rich man refered to the greedy and selfish religious leaders while Lazarus referred to the common people of the land who the Pharisees looked as inferior or common while on the final days the Pharisees or false prophets would be devoted to destruction the common and deprived people of the land who accepted Jesus would be saved and delivered into everlasting life
Note the use of Abraham in that verse meant that the righous people of the land would achieve everlasting life. We all know Abraham is a rightous man in God memory although dead.these evil religious leaders refused to accept the kingdom message proclaimed by jhon d Baptist and Jesus teachings in the land hence the were"tormented" by it
Remember THE ILLUSTRATION REFERRED TO THE HYPOCRITICAL RRLIGIOUS LEADERS IN JESUS DAY AND THE LOWLY PEOPLE OF THE LAND THEY LOOKED DOWN UPON.there is a lot we can learn from this parable!!!!!!
