it's quite unfortunate that here in Africa parents do see their children as a retirement plan which is not supposed to be. what will it take those people to plan ahead of time on things they will need in future, make investments to cover them when they get older like our European counterparts. Why is it that African parents have little or no insurance at all example life insurance, health insurance, feeding insurance, and death insurance to ease suffering when such a person gets old.

America is an export dependent country while Nigeria is an import dependent country. This simply means their is a lot of goods produced by their country and as such there is enough goods to purchase with the money printed. Same can not be said of Nigeria that produces little or nothing at all, should we go ahead with the idea, we will have more money chasing fewer goods in the market making hyperinflation inevitable. It's just a case of demand and supply playing out.

the value of money is dependent on the amount of goods it can purchase at every given time. We are currently observing a sit at home order meaning that people are no longer working especially those that deal with agricultural products. Printing more money without having goods to be purchased with the money will only lead to increase in demand and decrease in supply which effectively renders the money useless.

Politics Nigeria has also gathered that the family lost another member, Magudu Dantata.

The large extended family lost three persons, Aliko’s cousin, Madugu Dantata, his uncle, Alhaji Murtala Dantata and Alhaji Sa’idu Fanta, a relation.

In a message of condolence to Aliko Dangote, the Dantata family and the government and people of Kano State through Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, President Buhari described the losses, which occurred in rapid succession as irreparable losses that must be accepted as God-ordained.

He prayed to Allah to grant peace for the departed souls and the bereaved families the strength to bear the losses.

I don't think China is to be blamed for what is happening, that the virus did not spread very well in their country is due to the type of government they run. if you check what is happening in the Western world due to too much freedom of speech and movement, the government of the day is struggling to contain the virus. during the epidemic in China it was very easy for the country to shut down the affected province without any backlash, now compare same with what is happening in US where the masses are rejecting the stay at home order. Compare the death toll in Italy before and after the stay-at-home order.
