Sick battle, kaypumping2 would like this.

Tval: Rap Hip Hop is still alive if we can substitute those we have got here on nairaland with the wack ones we have got in the music industry.

Words on a marble, my brother.
I was surprised that we have creative minds like this on Nairaland. These emcees can rhyme. Ruggedybaba, M.I. and even Modo can't write as good as this.

eminem is the saviour of the urban white kids. as long as he is white, they want his music.

the whites in america who can afford records are more than the blacks(case closed).

there's no mortal on this planet that does not know eminem(the white rapper).

Premier League - Bolt mocks 'wuss' Ronaldo

Sprint king Usain Bolt has called Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo "a wuss" and mocked him for "falling over all the time".

Jamaican Bolt, who set 100m and 200m world records on his way to three Olympic gold medals in Beijing last summer, has an open invitation from United to deliver tips on high-speed running.

The 22-year-old will visit the club's Carrington training ground next month, but he could get a frosty reception from Ronaldo after delivering a less-than-flattering assessment of the Portuguese winger.

"I'm going to tell Ronaldo to stop being such a wuss," Bolt said.

"I'd like to see more of Wayne Rooney's fight in Ronaldo. He has to be aggressive like Rooney, even if it gets him into trouble at first.

"And he has to stop falling over all the time."

Bolt said that Ronaldo's running style was bad for his balance and meant he had trouble staying on his feet.

He said: "His problem is that when he runs he leans forward and loses his balance. He needs to sprint more upright."

Bolt travels to Manchester for the Great City Games on May 17, and will watch United's home game against Arsenal as well as meeting the squad in training.

Mourinho is unteachable with his agidi like coconut. Such an egomaniac will always refuse to learn. Next thing you know, he is clashing with SAF.

taking over from sir alex is the biggest and possibly the hardest job in football but whoever does will inherit great players.

those great players will want to look the new man in the eye and know that far from slacking off he is going to up the ante.

looking around i can't see too many that could walk into that dressing room and project the sort of confidence and ego

that would let the players know they are in good hands. whatever we think, mourinho is the man who keeps coming to mind

and the sort of fawning comments mourinho makes about fergie i believe are designed to let people know that he's willing to work

with fergie in the background.

the bottom line is if fergie leaves tomorrow who would you be confident of walking in and doing the business.

love him or hate him mourinho has proved at plenty of places now that he's the man.

and with fergie still there in some capacity i am sure he would learn the manchester united way quick enough.

JM will finish Man Utd. He is not a club-builder, and would be a bad appointment for Man Utd. He will turn Man Utd into a team of 11 players, with all the substitutes becoming a shadow of their former selves.

he will learn under ferguson.

when ferguson retires, he is not going home to sleep. he will go upstairs and oversee that the united policy of youth development is religiously preserved.

he is the only manager that will guarantee success immediately he steps in.

any other manager will not win titles for a while and i doubt fans of today have such patience to put up

with barren seasons after 2 decades of dominance.

Stan
How do i qualify JM's negativity? His kind of football is not inspiring when placed side by side with Man U, Arsenal, Barca etc. He has this win-at-all-cost mentality. he keeps it tight at the back and hope for a break upfront.

Honestly, i feel chelsea surprised pundits in the 04/05 season cos nobody gave them a chance considering their antecedents prior to that season. (No EPL title in 50 years, they have rarely been a threat in the UCL, even being knocked out by Monaco in the 03/04 season). Their success that season was a one-off.

That is not taking away anything from JM. He is one of the coaches in the higher rungs when it comes to success but the question is Does JM's philosophy fit in to ours?

lets assume sir alex retires tonight.

who will you recommend as the man that can fit into ferguson's shoes??

things to consider: managerial experience in england, success in england and in the champions league, character and ego, a manager players like ronaldo, rooney and ferdinand will respect.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by superstan(m): 12:41pm On Mar 31, 2009
ndumart:

Mourinho? Thats an invitation to negative football. We might as well lose our skillful players. The guy fits into Man U with regards to successes recorded but when considering the style of play, men, we do not need a JM.

personally, i don't believe jose mourinho is negative.

his chelsea side in 2004/5 was the best team in europe playing great attacking football.

chelsea v barcelona at stamford bridge comes to mind. he had duff, robben, joe cole and gudjohnsen in those days and he made them work.

mourinho is the only person who has the balls to take over from sir alex and succeed imo.

He can as in winning trophies but then the good footie that is synonymous with OT will be no more.
Again will he last more than 3 yrs? Thats why United don't need his type. O'Neil will be OK for me.

he isn't a messiah but find me a more adequate successor to alex ferguson who had actually won something at managerial level.

jose mourinho is the only sensible choice.

negative football?

united fans are either talking out of their arses or gave up football for the 04/05 season, they were playing football we could only envy.

sir alex has also won titles with an abundance of 1-0s, not every season was 00/01.

egotistical, arrogant, bullish? ask any rival fan who fits this and they will say sir alex, man united need a personality, a bastard.

which brings me on to my next point. . . . . .

bruce? moyes? martin o'neill? hughes?(are man united torquay or peterborough??)

don't make me laugh, what have they done compared to jose?

fergie broke the old firm's dominance and won am european trophy with aber-fucking-deen beating real madrid in the process before he came to ot.

that's like winning the champions league with porto(just like jose mourinho has done) beating man united in the process.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Manchester United Fan Thread: Forever Reds by superstan(m): 11:02am On Mar 31, 2009

JOSE MOURINHO has dropped the biggest hint yet that he is ready to take over from Alex Ferguson as Manchester United manager.
Speculation is mounting that Fergie will retire from football at the end of next season if he leads the club to an historic 19th league championship.

United would need to clinch this season’s Premier League and successfully defend it next year to break Liverpool’s title record.

And Inter Milan boss Mourinho – who has been linked with succeeding the 67-year-old in the past – has offered the clearest indication yet he is ready to assume the Old Trafford hotseat.

When asked if he and United could be ‘a marriage’ when Fergie finally retires, Mourinho said: “Who can say no? Nobody could say ‘no’.

“Manchester United belongs to a small group of clubs around the world where nobody can say ‘no’.

“But I don’t believe he is leaving in 2010. I think he will be the same the year after, healthy and happy.

“I don’t see a reason for him to quit and I hope he still goes on."

Former Chelsea coach Mourinho revealed he still enjoys a friendly relationship with the Scot – despite seeing his Serie A side dumped out of the Champions League by Fergie's Red Devils.

He added: "We both know how to lose and we know how to win.

“That's why after the 14 matches we have played between us – Porto, Chelsea and Inter – whether I win, he wins, or we draw, afterwards, the same respect is there."

Mourinho also refused to rule out a future switch to international management – and claimed a move to the United States could be on the cards.

The Portuguese said: "When you become a national coach life changes completely.

“You become much more an analyst than a coach. You train twice a month, you play once a month, sometimes once every two months.

"You have to wait for the big competitions to come round to become really involved like the World Cup. So at this stage it's not for me.

“But in the future, yes, and the US can be my future yes, and not just as national team manager but even a club team manager.

“It's the kind of country where you feel you could do something. There is huge potential."

can jose mourinho step into sir alex's shoes?

Unfuckingbelieveable!!!!!!

Why wasn't Reina sent off at OT when he brought JS Park down in the box??

i thought about it too when friedel was sent off.

surely, reina's foul on ji sung park was worse but the he was let off the hook.

a red card for reina on that day would have had 10 man liverpool side fighting for 70 mins with a goal down.

english referees are the worst in europe.

United are riding high. grin grin grin grin grin

this club have been allowed to get away with so many things.

eric steele(united's goalkeeper coach) brought an apple ipod to the pitch to show ben foster a video clip of how tottenham players take penalties.

it's innovative but i am not sure such should be allowed in football. fifa/uefa will intervene(i am sure).

jens lehmann did something similar in 2006 world cup when he slipped a piece of paper in his socks.

the paper consists a list of how every argentinian player had taken their penalty kicks throughout their career.

football is now 90% intelligence, 10% hardwork.
