kaura5000: middlebelt are you serious? now tell me what babangida ibb a gwari has in common with david mark what brought them together? they have nothing in common.. for your information gwaris and nupes have more affinity to hausa fulani than to other middlebelters... next time if you dont no something ask.. before you start spewing trash
There is nothing like Hausa Fulani. Hausa is Hausa and Fulani is Fulani. Hausas speak Hausa, while fulanis speak fulfude.
Hausas are the servants of fulanis.

Stop lumping the two together, for numerical advantage.

Gwaris are related to nupes and not to Hausas. Save us your balderdash here.

kaura5000: continue denying but at this point you cant deny that suleja emirate provide most of the land in present day abuja...go educate yourself goat
I am very nice today, so I will allow your unwarranted abuse to pass, in the spirit of New Year.

The Suleja Emirate is a Hausa principality in what is now Niger State, Nigeria. The emirate was established as the Abuja Emirate during the 19th century, located just north of the site of the present-day federal capital city named Abuja. When the new city was established, the emirate and its capital were renamed the Suleja Emirate and Suleja. The emirate covers about 1,150 square miles (2,980 square km) of wooded savanna area.

Note the part that states, located just north of the site of the present day fct. So FCT belongs to Gwaris and not Hausas or fulanis.

Maybe you were too pained, when your bubble was deflated, that Abuja land, former Suleja, belongs to Gwaris, who are of Nupe origin and not of Hausas, that are subservient to Fulanis.

Which one are you -Hausa or Fulani? The servant or the master tongue

Usbeel: About

The Federal Capital Territoryis the home of Abuja, the capital of Nigeria. The territory was formed in 1976 from parts of former Nasarawa, Niger, and Kogi States and it is in the central region of Nigeria, bordered to the north by Kaduna State, to the east by Nassarawa State, to the south-west by Kogi State and to the west by Niger State.
The Federal Capital Territory lies between latitudes 8o 25'N and 9o 20'N and longitude 6o39'.
Phase 1 of the city is divided into five (5) districts - Central, Garki, Wuse, Maitama, and Asokoro. Phase 2 is divided into five (5) districts - Kado, Durumi, Gudu, Utako and Jabi. Phase 3 districts is divided into four (4) districts - Mabuchi, Katampe, Wuye and Gwarimpa.

History

The land of Abuja was the southwestern part of the ancient kingdom of Zazzau (Zaria). The name"Abuja"was derived from Abu Ja, a brother to Muhammadu Makau, the last hausa ruler of Zaria. Makau had left Zaria after being defeated by the Fulani and settled in the area now known as Abuja. In 1825 his brother Abu Ja succeeded him as the 62nd King of Zaria.
The full name of Abu Ja was Abubakar (shortened to"Abu" ) and the name Ja was given to him because he was light in complexion ("Ja"means red or fair in Hausa). Hence he became known as"Abu-Ja","Abu the fair one"(other sources claim that the name"Ja"was derived fron the last name of his father which was"Jatau" ).
Abu Ja built a new capital for his Kingdom and named it"Abuja"after himself.
In August 1975 the then Federal Military Government under Late General Murtala Muhammed convened a panel of experts, under the Chairmanship of the Honourable Justice T.A. Aguda, to study and advise on the desirability of retaining Lagos as the Federal Capital of Nigeria.
The panel was also empowered to recommend a suitable alternative location should it determine that the Federal Capital be moved from Lagos. Abuja was not the only place considered, several areas such as Okene, Kafanchan, Markurdi, Ile, Auchi and Agege were also suggested. The panel's recommendations for the setting up of the new Federal Capital City, at Abuja(carved out of three states Niger Plateau and Kogi (formerly Kwara)), were accepted and the Federal Government then promulgatedDecree number 6 of 1976 which created the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

In that case, Abuja is a Hausa/Fulani land since most part of it was part of Zaria, Kaduna state

And if Nigeria is to be divided, then we will name our country Arewa; United African Emirate(UAE)
THE STORY OF ABUJA - HISTORICAL

The present Suleja was formally known as Abuja, a sparsely populated town with a population of about 500,000 people; it was completely rural with little or no infrastructure until the enactment of Decree No. 6 of 1976.

Before the 1976 Decree, a committee ('The Aguda Panel')was commissioned to go round the country in search of a suitable location for the New Federal Capital with two major points of reference; a region that is sparsely populated and that is centrally located. And the region now known as Abuja met these requirements and hence became the recommended location for the New Federal Capital.

The acceptance of the recommendation of the committee, led to the enactment of Decree No. 6, of 1976, the Federal Capital Territory Act, and this became the blueprint for the re-location of the new Federal Capital from Lagos to Abuja.

The town originally known as Abuja was later renamed Suleja, while the name “Abuja” was reserved for the capital-to-be.

In order to realise the objective of developing Abuja, the new Capital City, into a masterpiece on the African continent, the Federal Government established the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) as the sole agency vested with the responsibility of planning, designing and developing the city.

Stop lying here. The world knows that the GWARI people owns Abuja land. If hausa/fulani wants to claim Abuja of the Abubakar of Emir of Zauzzau, that will be present day Suleja.

Present day Abuja was formerly Suleja.

Well, we in SW careless about what you do with Abuja after the disintegration of the country. That is your cup of tea with GWARIs and north central people. Mind you, Gwaris are more related to Nupe than Hausas. It is not even Hausa/Fulani, because Hausas are the slaves of the fulanis -according to well documented history. Hausa/Fulani is just for numerical advantage effect, they are both individually different ethnic groups with fulanis as the ogas.

RuuDie: Lets face it, the way things are going, this may be the season where the EPL is won with the lowest number points compared to other season winners - everybody is dropping points - that is why there isn't any break-away leader just yet. A bit of my optimism stems from the fixtures - I foresee it being "kinder" to UTD in the long run.
What guarantee do you have, that this united will beat a relegation fighting team convincingly?

coogar: in the absence of rafael, valencia should be kept away from the team. he's the poorest winger ever. he only plays well because the brazilian helps him find space. nani + young + adnan are miles better than valencia as a winger.
Adnan is not strong enough yet, for the week-in week-out rigours of EPL.

Nani, is a chicken-head. When he is good, he is the best and when he is bad, he is the worst. He blows hot and cold, but more of cold than hot.

Young!!!! Well, he upped his game in the last 3matches. That can never make me to take him over Valencia.

The team just needs major surgical operation in the summer. It's either the players don't believe in Moyes or there is a psychological effect of fergie leaving the dressing room on the players. They are no where their usual self. Though, the new manager is a learner on his own.

dademola: when valencia plays, we wont hav the luxury of of interchanging our wingers, since valencia is as "one-way" as a LASTMA offender! The end result is that we'd keep doing the same thing on the wings for 90mins. Smh
He would have been more effective, if we have a Midfielder like Sylva or Oscar, that can hold ball and make through passes through the center and ping balls to the wing.

Also remember, our left wing is more mediocre than the right.

coogar: and since we have fabio whose game is similar to that of rafael, who should moyes have started to replace rafael?

i am not even sure moyes has any IQ. valencia shouldn't even be starting in this team. he's the worst player ever & i remember elamps telling us he's better than nani. not in a billion years.

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bc6eDopCcAA2hXT.png
Also remember, there is no player to replace him. All our players have been on and off, in their performance, this season.

I can't remember Fabio playing any match though.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by superstar1(m): 9:07am On Jan 02, 2014
coogar: i should borrow your faith then.
it seems you dunno how poor we have been this season but i am very sure you understand numbers. united have now lost more points this season than they did in the whole of last season.

we lost only 25 points the whole of last season despite throwing many points away after the league was won. we have lost 26 points already this season by new year's day. how can anyone see any positive in this campaign? it's been absolutely fückery.

valencia/smalling axis is non-productive, uninventive, lacks ideas. smalling is a centre-half, he's not a fullback. in the absence of rafael, fabio is the logical replacement. not jones, not smalling & definitely not valencia(the most idiotic player in the whole solar system).

if young/nani had produced as poor as valencia did last night, fans would be groaning. valencia cost us the game. only one of his 13 crosses found a united player at a point in the game. he just kept hitting danny rose deliberately - maybe his plan was to cripple him.

moyes with the IQ of a slug then shifted valencia to the RB, where he's lost us 3 different games already this season including the match against everton. we have a fit & firing fabio who is as good, if not better than rafael but moyes chose to lock him out of the first team.
How can we make crosses our source of goals. We are too predictable. Pass the ball in the midfield, find Valencia and let him whack into the middle and we will be offering prayers on Mount Taborah, for an own goal. Is that not dumb? Even stokes, have departed from such tactics.thesame tactics he used in everton and the best he could get them is their, perennial 7th. Overnight, Martinez looks like a miracle worker.

Moyes is stereotyped and not a creative thinker. He is a methodologist. His coaching crew is a joke and his tactics are below Okey Emordis level.

chrisley024: Until we change our style of play, we'ld be easily contained by teams.
Valencia should just move to d bench, he makes us look like Barnsley.
Full backs now deliver most of the crosses in top teams.

We need another wide man that holds d ball to join Januzaj if Nani can't work out.

C'mon! We need to be flexible n stop hugging d touch line.
Valencia cannot move to the bench.valencia is always a top draw, when Rafael is on topof his game. Rafael draws out a player for Valencia and provides options for Valencia.

Once you double players on Valencia, that is the end. That is where Rafael comes in handy. He has always been a unidirectional player, before we bought him. That doesn't mean, he ought notno have evolve though.

Moyes ought to have started Valencia in the RB position yesterda, instead of smallish and Adnan on the right.

Evra is tired. Even a blind man could see. Why can't he rotate fabio and buttner in that position too. Offensively, every has offered little or nothing, defensively, he has been a calamity.heis obviously tired. Starting almost 25games at his age.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by superstar1(m): 8:15am On Jan 02, 2014
Moyes have failed to win against any top team, apart from Arsenal, that our academy will always beat.

It is so sad that a champion team will drop to,outside Europa qualification slot, just within month of winning EPL.

The guy lacks the technical depth and ingenuity to be in charge of a team like Utd and he has the most mediocre back room staff.

When Rogers took over L'pool and results were not coming their way, we all saw the pattern of play and the flow. We knew its oly a matter of time, the team will jell. I have still not seen anything constructive in our play, apart from passing aimlessly in the midfield, without any threat and passing to the right, to be whacked in.

The following top teams changed their coaches - Madrid, City, Chelsea, Bayern - compare Moyes performance to that of the managers of these teams. It is either we lack ambition or we were contracting cheap, (just the same way we have been 4-for-1 players towards the latter end of fergie's reign), for us to have gone for Moyes.

no player can hold ball in our midfield and boss the midfield in the class of Ozil, Oscar, Hazard and Sylva and even Coutinho.

The worst part is, it becomes extremely more difficult to pull, out if this mediocre performance, because of the impact on the psyche of the players. It's also obvious, these players don't believe in Moyes.

For now, I have switched to, not-watching-united-with-passion mode .

If this is not done, the Spirits of dead Soldiers from both side of the divide will be possessing our leaders at the centre to continually ruin this country irrespective of who is elected.

On a second thought, it may be the spirits of the dead soldiers and innocent civilians that are responsible for all these missing Oil money.

We have enough pastors, prophets and imams to arrest the spirits nah and bind them into the pacific ocean, not Atlantic ooo. The waves and tides of the Atlantic ocean can wash those spirits ashore again, so we need to send them to another ocean.

State of residence will lead to more rancour and bloodshed. I can assure you. We are Africans and we are very tribe and land conscious. Even in Europe, is the same.

I hope there will be more mutual respect in this coming year and less mudslinging between APc and PDP, Pro and Anti-GEJ, Yorubas and Igbos, North vs South etc.

We will never allow state of residence to fly. I even trust Hausas and middle belters on that.

Some people cannot be using wayo to be stylishly distancing themselves from their region, all in the name of state of residence. All over the world, state of origin is used except America canada and Australia , that never had a sizeable number of indigenes. They are all98% settlers. There is no land n Africa without indigenes.

So, state of residence is dead on arrival.

If ebonyi is not in the news, what do you want to say about Kebbi. Seems that state has been merged into sokoto or it is just a federal ovt monthly largesse sharing state.

Also remember, news is 70% bad happenings and 30% good happenings. Ebonyi must definitely be the most peaceful state in SE, though less developed than its older peers.

However, the govt should propagate the state and their activities in the media more. It is called visibility. If you aren't visible, embassies can never recommend your state for foreign investors and even outsiders like OP will never know what you are doing, whether good or bad.

People from Ebonyi should see it as an advise from the OP, rather than as an avenue to degrade the state. No one will propagate you, if you dont shout yourself to the world.
