achi4u: Writing long epistle just to keep saying the same thing over and over again won't win you this argument @Oga SuperstarShallow minds write in sentences, educated mind write in paragraphs. If not, Achebe will still be writing Ada the snake girl and Wole Soyinka will still be writing Akin Goes to School |
ngozievergreen: I know he must mention an oil thief. You guys seems not to understand some things about business. Stop building family business. Build corporations. List your companies on the floor of NSE and use other people of funds to trade, while you are still the MD. The 2 by 2 shops and factories are good, but they can't sustain any economy. I am not here to be listing companies for you pweety. Do yourself the favour to travel around SW yourself and conduct the research on industries. What were your Alex Ekwueme, Achebe, ojukwu, chukwumerije, nzeribe, ouk,.nnamani, wabara, okadigbo etc looking at when they were sharing the oil license? Or you think they did not give them. Due to your tendency to love money than your soul and to be more concerned about immediate gains, they sold that their stup1d paper called license to yorubas and hausas at very high price but not realising they were selling out a fortune. Don't blame the yorubas for your misfortune, blame your leaders. You and Ikengawo are even more reasonable than that nonsense boy called Chino or chinko or whatever he is bearing self. You guys are industrious but you lack the administrative skills and business intelligence of.the yorubas. You believe in working hard, we believe in working smart. The combo of the 2 ethnic groups in a nation would have been great, but bridges have been burnt beyond repairs. You should learn to respect others and shield your supremacist toga. The major reason you are always at logger head with us, is because you know we are the only ones that can match you and even surpass you anything. Instead of that to develop into mutual respect, mind you I did not use the word love, you allowed it to create envy and hatred. Those 2 can only lead you more into nothing but trouble. It seems your system or culture indoctrinate you to hate yorubas because of Awolowo, but the usual us, we are the live and let's live ethnic group. Once the Rubicon of declaring hatred is crossed, that is the end in yorubaland. Yea. We, Yorubas, have our bad side to. I can't deny that. Instead of the present generations to subject the fallacies and lies of their father's to empirical truth test, you swallowed it hook line and sinker. Eg the issue of 20pounds and Awo using hunger as weapon of war. In my next post to you, I will explain those 2. Let us sit down and learn from each other. I know how I will feel if I was ibo or Palestine or a south African during the time of apartheid. We have to learn from the past, build bridges now for us to have a better future. I ma not saying we should be in the same country ooo. Mba. Lol. |
ngozievergreen: U have agreed that igbos. are productive, am yet to see what yorubad have done for the nation. You are too dull to reason out some things on your own pweety, if you are without beards sha. Igbos are productive and crime is high and yorubas are unproductive and crime is low. Another of Amadioha's miracle shey? You that you are not paying tax, you built mansions inside gully eroded place, you bought jeeps without any road to pass. Are you not stup1d in a way? How will someone leave cancer and be spending money on headache. The whole of alaigbo industries and the total worth of their substandard goods and fake drugs is not up to Honeywell investment alone. That is industrialization and not the under the mango tree factories that you have. The 2020 is a projection by world Bank, if Nigeria doesn't break. You and I know we are parting ways with ingrates, envious and covetous people by 2015. |
ngozievergreen: @ superstar, last wk, they showed gully erosion sites at ondo, and as usual I saw despicable buildings around. How has these your early morning rantings helped your gully eroded land and red mud filled rural areas, as well as the dustbins of Onitsha and Aba. How has that stopped able bodied men, future workforce of alaigbo from entering Ekene Dili Chukwu to SW this morning. How has that stopped crime on alaigbo? How has that stopped production of fake drugs to kill your people in SE. If we don't work, but God has not turned us to wanderers seeking for greener pastures, He must be feeding us with manna from heaven. Another 8th wonder of the world. But what are we seeing, the people that are hardworking are trooping in from SE on a per seconds billing. God has buttered our bread. We live in squalors and the people that are living in caves of eroded land always see the squalor as their saviour and heaven. Therefore, they will rather die there and their corpse sent back to alaigbo, than go home alive. We appreciate our squalors. To you they are, to us, they are artifacts of inestimable value. Emiratis don't work, others work for them. So if others are generating the IGR we are spending, it is not a new thing all over the world. Do you know the percentage of Nigerian students money are constitution to UK educational system. Does UK care who pays it? For your info, by projections, the whole of alaigbo will be paying tax and royalties to us by 2020, if you do not find a solution to your despicable and nightmare living condition in SE. You are so clueless about governance. Our govt does not need to create jobs, their own is to create an enabling environment for investors such as good roads, water, electricity hospitals. and security. According to you, who is paying for all these? Alaigbo people. Investors see signs off development, of course, they will shun SE because of its state and still invest in SW, despite our tax, because of the living condition. What does that mean, more jobs are created, more taxes are paid and more money for our govt and more development. I will rather have investors investing 50mm dollars in my economy and it's attendant rippled effect, than me having a backyard factory producing substandard goods while having 5-6 boys that ought to. Be in school as my slave child workers. Do the mathematics of 50mm dollars and come up with how many backyard factory you need to have to beat that. Mind you, the technology is transferred to our people, the facilities is on our soil forever. The logics are investment brings more investments and work.smart and don't work hard. That is the philosophy of life. Working hard like y1bos is good but working smart is like yorubas is the best. Copy that. If you think, we don't work, it is your view and you are entitled it. The same way my view is, all y1bo men are criminals and their ladies, especially the ones from Imo are ashis. Shikena. Not working and having a low crime rate is better than the people that are working and their eroded community is crime infested. It is only in alaigbo logic, that you see low crime rate where people are not working and high crime rate where everybody is working. Reason that out. Sincerely, you don't have any moral justification to hold your Governors accountable, if you are not paying tax and you cannot ask for any developmental project. |
The Minister for petroleum and Mr president, just wrote "Approved. Do the Needful" to NNPC and needful probably includes let 49bn dollars develop wings. |
Ikengawo: Failed attempt at divide and conquer! lol!I heard another half part of Imo State was swallowed by gully erosion over night . Hope u did not lose any relation? Hope Anambra your senior stock have not pissed on you this morning again. Are Anambra people the true igbos and the rest of you are osu caste ![]() Na wa for this y1bo people ooooo The effort you put into searching on YouTube would have been put to better use, if you had written OBJ's. Kind of letter to your "performing" governors. When I read those thread, sincerely I became sorry for you and your people. Others are celebrating worth and tangible projects, you guys are still celebrating buildings. If you now build world class conference centre, what will you do oo. I'm sure all of you will be sleeping there? You need to save your region asap, or else you are doomed. No wonder, they are always quick to attach to SS. Attache by force!!!! |
I just finished reading the whole thread on imo and Enugu. These people are still backward. Just on their own threads, they were abusing each other Anambra vs Imo. Are they not the same y1bo people again? Na wa ooo. The pix of the rural area are worse than that of a war torn country. You guys need to brace up and stop celebrating building and ask for better things from your Governors. No road, no water, no security, no agriculture, no tourism apart from ashewo hotels, no hospitals. The same pictures of the capitals were being repeated. Seems the Anambra people are the hardworking ones among them and others are laid back and backward. Your case is pathetic and beyond redemption. It will be doomed if the ones in other part of the country and diaspora did not return back to alaigbo to save the situation. Sincerely, the pictures I saw on those thread were shocking and unbelievable. Jokes and tribalism apart, demands need to be placed on your political leaders. I now understand why they were celebrating painting of airports by Stella. |
Watching Athletico Madrid vs Valencia. Let us see how Koke will perform. |
SailorXY: ^^ seeing Chelsea's display yesterday makes me wonder how they are in top 4We the way we played last season, we ought not to have been the champ too. |
doc sholz: I actually just read somewhere that d southwest has d lowest poverty level in NigeriaYou are right. According to NBS stat released in jan 2013 for year 2012, poverty rate in SW is 49.5, SS is 55.5 and SE is 59.5. Despite their level of industrialization and all sort of crimes to get rich. |
ngozievergreen: U know we are still at Onitsha, we have not even gotten to owerri and Enugu. What is in Enugu apart from the mall the Yoruba man built. Owerri, that ghostly students town. It is always empty once students are on vacation. Nothing worthy to be called developments In those places. |
ngozievergreen: As far as they look better than ur abodes, u don't have any morality to point at them.Another of your ignorance on display on NL. Have you been to old Kano? Oh gal, you need to travel round this country. I am not conversant with KD but I have been to Old Kano and to a mature mind and not money driven mind. it is a beauty to behold. All those places you are showing of SW are the old parts and we can never destroy them. Do you know the worth of the land alone? Who is here to convince you whether we have city or not. All the oyinbos in osogbo alone surpasses the whole of SE. That shows something. Quality of life. If we don't have, your igunnuko head brothers won,t be running to SW. It is better for me to stay in osogbo in a bungalow with stable water and electricity supply and good road network, than for me to stay on the 5th floor of your jam packed hellish dungeon on Aba. Our value of quality of life differs. No wonder, the whole of alaigbo is the way it is. |
ngozievergreen: As far as they look better than ur abodes, u don't have any morality to point at them.Another of your ignorance on display on NL. Have you been to old Kano? Oh gal, you need to travel round this country. I am not conversant with KD but I have been to Old Kano and to a mature mind and not money driven mind. it is a beauty to behold. Al those places you are showing of SW are the old parts and we can meet destroy them. Do you know the worth of the lands alone? Who is ere to convince you whether we have city or not. If we don't have, your igunnuko head brothers won,t be running to SW. |
ibn akogun: Ikolaba, ologueru, akobo, oluyole why won't Igbos miss it. Selective amnesia is so common in their land. Where do you stay in Lagos I might hook you up with my own copy when am in town.I stay in lekki. Anytime bro. |
ngozievergreen: For where? Taaaa, culture my foot. At least u have agreed ur capitals are shanties but are left that way because of culture bah? That is where you seem to reason a little bit. If 95% of the population are not living in those world heritage centers of unquantifiable value, where are they living? They are staying in other modern part of the city. Where you missed it again and you brought out the igbotic nature in you again is when you said, Oyinbo houses will look good. When oyinbos start defining what is good to you, then your inferiority complex knows no bound. We told them they are good for us and they believed it and they are ready to name it a protected world heritage. That is confidence. If Onitsha Owerri, nnewi and Aba are your cities built by super humans, then, those super humans must be midgets and what a shallow mind they have. |
ibn akogun: If you are in Ibadan get to Ibadan house and get this book. Ibadan in the 21st century by Lola tomori to understand why we have to do everything to preserve this heritage. No bro. Living in Lagos. Had my undergraduate at UI, so I know Ibadan very well. They are too blind to see Akobo, Ashi, Bodija, Challenge, Ring road. Seems Ajimobi is doing a good work. Was impressed with the road networks he is working on. Was in IB last month. |
ngozievergreen: its better u have mansions crammed together than slums jam packed like these. To your tasteless igbotic eyes and mind, they are slums. To us and the rest of developed minds and world, they are artifacts. No wonder, it is a tourist attraction for oyinbos. A well arranged, same height buildings dating back to ages, clearly shows the level of urban planning sophistication even before the arrival of the British. I am sure, if you are given Mona Lisa painting and 1mm, you will prefer the 1mm. It will cost your govt nothing less than 500bn to replicate such a beautiful scenery. That is the worth of the artifacts you are seeing . That is what unesco will pay over decades for us to keep protecting that heritage of inestimable value. |
onomeasike: @superstar1,I can give you ten solid reasons why igbosThanks jarey correct guy. |
You are really not making any point. I asked what is the condition of yorobass today compare to their neighbors in SE and SS? If you guys are using red earth mud to build in the 21st century that means in the last 200years ago you people were living inside holes. Do you know that you will not find a single mud house in entire Igboland today, in our villages, in our communities, talk more of our cities? The same mud houses that are still very commonly in use in your state capitals.
do you know what that tells the world? 1. You never had an enduring and good building technology before the advent of the british on your soil. No wonder, your buildings then were palm fronds. hausas even had better building technology that are standing till today. How are we sure you were not actually staying on trees? - just asking, because there is no proof to suggest otherwise. 2. You do not have land. As a result of gully erosion and landslide, you have to use the remaining ones for your ever surging population. therefore, the old houses must give way. 3. You do not cherish artifacts. That is while you have to destroy historical artifacts to build new ones. Cities like London, Beijing, Mecca, Istanbul, Baghdad, New York, Washington, Cairo, Alexandria, Athens, Kano etc all have buildings dating back to 200 - 300 years ago. Those are cities that have heritage and are protecting them like ours. All these aforementioned cities have the old and the new parts. UNESCO is about making those buildings world heritage centre, protected under UN. That can only mean, nothing but, more money for our govt. |
Another worthy investments that surpasses the whole of investments of 2 by 2inches shop owners. We give glory to God. We are progressing, they are wailing. |
Nice game. Well done Moyes. |
I didn't get those facts from your an.us.. I backed it up with pictures. So those pictures speaks more than anything that you guys are still stuck in the 1500AD while we are already in the 21st century. I didn't just make an empty statement, I backed it up with pictures.
A society still wearing raffia leaves till the British came in 18th century is an embarrassment to Africa. Still leaving in cesspits in 2013 is a disgrace to humanity. Aliens need to wipe you off. |
lygn19: Balkan re u on bbm, der is sth I want to discuss with on Nigerian politics and d place of the Igbo's.Share it with us too nah. |
You guys thought we do not know you up to that your dungeons you called state capital. Now show me which is dirty, unhealthy, cramped, jam-packed and more like an unlivable dungeon? I am a photo analyst. Pictures speaks more than all these your long grammar. I keep saying it, that you yorobass are still stuck in the 1500AD while we have moved on to the 21st century. Pictures speaks.
Yea we are in 5000ad and they are leaving their dungeon and caves everyday and heading to the region of sunshine and prosperity. y1bos must definitely be in 10000bc. |
DerideGull: Berem,so because corruption is endemic, Mr President should keep encouraging and promoting it. Na wa for you ooo old y1boman. Senility is definitely setting in. you are 2nd to musiwa on NL. |
