afrodoc: I am not happy with Rooney o,but I don't want him to leave( at least not for Chelsea).we can sell him to Arsenal (they will find a way of messing things up grin)
if Rooney joins Chelsea and links up with Mourinho what will happen is that he will be fired up to show SAF and United fans,d guy go lose weight and become lean n mean, playing with young hungry boys like hazard, oscar, schurrle etc. I no like dt scenario at all because in all honesty rooney's major problems are his weight nd fitness d guy is world class on his day
Totally agree

afrodoc: cheesy that formation can work against Accrington Stanley in the league cup
Kagawa is a key player for us this season, taking into cognizance Rooney's recalcitrant behaviour.
He can not play as a striker in EPL, his best role, from my own point of view is a 10.

Carrick as usual is expected to play the makalele role, sitting perpetually in front of bak 4.
My prob with Anderson and Cleverly is their consistency and they hardly can play 90 full mts

Let's tinker with other formations though.

Strongly believe if we can form a team spirit like Dortmund, we can do exploits even against all Odds such as the intimidating midfield of the likes of Citie,Chelski and the Merengue.
If we don't have the players at least they should be able to form.the bond.

That stupid boy called rooney should learn from Ronaldo, the grass is not always greener on the other side as it appears to be

afrodoc: that midfield is defensively too weak, would struggle to win back possession and the team would leak goals like anything.
kagawa can't play as carrick's CM partner
Kagawa will be plating as 10 in front of carrick. While I expect Welbeck to join the midfield while defending.
Vidic is not back to his top form yet, that is while I picked Ferdinand

My best team for the season.

Keeper ---- of course De Gea
Defence ----- Rafael Evans Ferdinand Evra

Midfield ---- Nani carrick Kagawa Zaha
Attack ----- RVP Welbeck (discounting Rooney. In case he leaves)

Sincerely we should start loooking beyond signings, at least for this summer. Energy should be dissipated on getting the best out of the fringe players of last season to contribute their quota, most especially Anderson Nani Valencia Cleverly And Kagawa.

The younger ones could be brought intermittently. The likes of Powell, Janucz, Lingard and maybe Tunncliffe too.

I don't see any signing coming in.

Why are all our transfer dealings just going south this season.

I have resigned to the fate of we not having any new face by end of the transfer market.

Watching Madrid running rings around Chelsea early this morning was so much fun to behold and a complete reality check for those chelski fans that believe they already have the trophy on their cabinet. They controlled that midfield with panache.

Essien is a definitely a beast of a player and we definitely give them a major edge during the season. I pray he gets injured again.

Will wait to comment on our season after the Community Shield match.

dademola: Godforbid dt man utd turn to super eagles oo!! Choi! Wich kain comparism b dt nau, bros...
I am not praying that we should become super eagles. My prob is Moyes even started this transfer Window on a very bad footing coupled with the changed of guard from CEO to chief marketing officer, to head coach and other staff is too abrupt though it was seemless in transition.

The 1st 3matches will determine my expectations for the season.

The truth is I don't see any new signing coming in. Yes Fergie created the midfield problem and this has always been obvious ever since the injury that bedeviled Hargo and Fletchers mysterious illness compounds our dilemma.

What is the possible scenario for our midfield if we do not sign anyone, sincerely I do not see that happening.

We have nani, carrick, Anderson, cleverly, young, valencia, phil and maybe janucz. If Noyes is indeed a genius he is being hyped to be, I expect him to tinker with this boys and get something out of them.

My fear is can these boys withstand the fire powers of sylva Mata yaya toure and even essien in the midfield.

I'm not totally optimistic. Will just take the season as in comes, hoping that only the best will befall us. I pray my darling team will not turn to super eagles that i always watch with only faith in God.

Let the season start.

martinbillings: It baffles me the way people reason. The difference between the mail written by LSG to Anambra and the one written by Akwa Ibom to LSG is very glaring, just that tribalism wont allow us to see. Akwa Ibom stated that the destitutes were been treated and were responding to treatment and that they had no relatives in Akwa Ibom and therefore decided to integrate them with their families in Lagos. Did Lagos Govt. tried to find out if the so called Igbo destitutes had relatives in Lagos? I know these mails are being sponsored by Ngige. Nnaa this mess is exactly what you get when you align with the west. Ask Ribadu. Ngige keep off from this mess so that the blood of your kinsmen who died from this unjust deportation will not be on your head. I employ all Igbos to remain calm and be peaceful. In God we trust.
Oga, direct your questions to your governors.

Stop crying wolf where there is none. Lagos state indigenes that are miscreants were also arrested in the past and we all applauded it. Akwa I on n katsina made appropriate transportation for their indigenes. What were your governors looking at for 90days.

Coz i dont know how you know who robbed mma, coz im not aware they were caught. We will ask Seun to spool your identity and a warrant of arrest will be place on u.

Assuming they were speaking Yoruba during their ops, do not forget virtually all ibos in lag speaks the language.

Don't even go to the history of robbery in this country before you will be embarrassed internationally

plasgidy: yorubas are professional in all you mensioned here. the worst of all your problem is greed envy.
You are ill informed. We are greedy n envious of u. We are lazy too shey? And you went for your war and still met your properties intact when you came back to SW. Ask your forefathers while all your properties were taken over in other places . Oga try more with another argument.
