Actor Olaiya Igwe Goes Naked At The Beach To Pray For Tinubu’s Victory At 2023 Polls LATEST NEWS By Adam Mosadioluwa On Dec 3, 2022
Veteran Nollywood Yoruba actor, Lukmon Ebun Oloyede, popularly known as Olaiya Igwe has taken his advocacy for the emergence of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the 2023 presidential election to a another level by going naked at the beach to pray for him.
The filmmaker who is known to be a big fan of the presidential hopeful could be seen in a now-viral video praying fervently for the former Lagos State governor to emerge as the winner of the forthcoming election.
The video showed the veteran actor fully naked from behind, before turning around and was captured in a half-body shot as he prayed to the ocean for Tinubu’s victory.
Taking to his official Instagram account to post the video himself, he captioned, “It is my pleasure to support a candidate who truly reflects our values and highest ideals. There is one candidate in this election who will protect that dream.
“One leader who will fight hard to keep the promise of Nigeria for the next generation. And that’s why we must stand up and make Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Jagaban the next president of Nigeria.”
The video has however generated reactions from social media users with many condemning the act as totally wrong, shameful and uncalled for.
Popular radio host, Dotundtun wrote on Twitter, “The video of Olaiya Igwe going butt naked is despicable and disgusting. It’s okay to support whoever you choose but even to the person you are doing that for, they will be appalled by that level of filth.. your maturity should have a place in history. This is lower low ”
Another Twitter user, “AjayiKehindeTa2 ” If the video I saw recently is truly posted by Olaiya Igwe then he is a disgrace to have gone that low for whatever reason he did it. Even if he did it while acting in a movie in Nollywood this is still a shameful action. Can’t his colleagues and children talk sense to him ?”
“That Olaiya Igwe video hit me bad sha. It’s as if it’s my Dad. It hit me badly because I remember watching Olaiya as a kid from Ìrù Ešïn to Ti oluwa nile and hundreds of movies he’s done. So painful to see despite all those decades of hard work, he’s going naked for politics.” @AyoBankole opined.
It's now glaringly clear the APC has been operating mysticism/voodooism, a practice which most Nigerians who are roughly divided into majority christian south and a seemingly Muslim north, sees as satanic, using same to cast spell on the feeble minded and impoverished majority.
They are no longer hiding their acts, rather they have been emboldened by the resolve of the vast majority of Nigerian populace, to take back their country.
Analyst succinctly put it, "The political realignment going on in the north, where APC and her presidential candidate Bola Tinubu had hitherto believed that he would win, has sent a quaking panic among APC's ranks and files
The onus lies on Nigerians to ensure that the evil broom and it's demons are sent back to wherever coven they came from.
beelon1020: Have you ever gone out of Nigeria before? By air or by road?.. I have gone to Ghana, Togo, Benin, without any passports before, filled a form tho with my ID on sight, spent Quality time in Ghana and Benin, so what are you saying? Expect if they suspect you as a Kriminal then is up to them... Go and read the constitution about ecowas
oga our argument is, despite being a member of ECOWAS, ECOWAS members state still reserve the right to ban someone from entering or remove someone from their country. I didn't ask you whether you jump or not.

what I want you to understand is that, even as an ECOWAS passport holder, you can still be denied entry or deported.
beelon1020: As ECOWAS member even with your ID card, you can be given entry to all the bodies within... you do not need visa for entry, Point of entry stamp is totally different from visa...
Can you in one one word explain what the stamp at the point of entry means?.
And are you aware that even as an ECOWAS passport holder, you can still be denied entry and can be deported?
beelon1020: Nonsense talk... who told you Nigerian needs visas to enter Ghana and Cameroon?.. that’s how you people go about spreading trash about BAT...
The stamp at ECOWAS borders is what sir, please enlighten me
beelon1020: Nonsense talk... who told you Nigerian needs visas to enter Ghana and Cameroon?.. that’s how you people go about spreading trash about BAT...
Yes you're carrying ECOWAS passport, but just walk into Ghana and Cameroon without stamp let's see what becomes of you!!!
Jogs1900: I understand you perfectly... But let's look at it this way 1.Was there need for protest votes in 1999 by Anambrarians? 2.How many house of assembly seats were won by APGA in 1999 in Anambra state taking into consideration both votes for governorship and house of assemblies were casted simultaneously.
1. It was a known fact that Anambra under PDP wasn't doing well. Lots of corruptions, maladministration and Infightings. Hence, Peter election was a protest vote against PDP governor.
2. You have to understand that Igbos are not moved by party politics, they love individuals and they selected whom they voted
Jogs1900: They are both supreme court governors. We all know PDP was the dominant party in Anambra between 1999 and 2002. Ngige was sacrificed by Obasanjo because of the misunderstanding between them..
politics is local. PDP being dominant in Anambra means next to nothing, East always cast a protest vote. Obi understand the people and his message resonated among the people, and they voted him, but he was robbed of his mandate which the court restored. That wasn't the case of uzodimma
Jogs1900: How old were you when Peter obi was sworn in in his first term?Do you think had Ngige not fell out with the Ubas and Obasanjo,Obi would have been sworn in as Governor? You think you know what you are saying? Moreover didn't people contest for various positions under APGA then in Anambra?
VoteObi2SaveNai: You're ignorant but believes you're wise. When Peter Obi won Anambra gubernatorial election, how many House of Assembly members, senators or reps won under his party?
Get the answer and enlighten yourself!
The person you're quoting is not in tune with the anger in the streets of Nigeria. Nobody is talking about party crap anymore. People are going for the best irrespective of party affiliation
VoteObi2SaveNai: If the message has reached as far as Katsina and is now popular there, then it's game over! One thing is for sure, this election is between two major contestants I.e Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar with two other contestants playing catch-up i.e. Bola Tinubu and Rabiu Kwankwaso.
God has remembered Nigeria and wants to use Obi-datti to rescue us!
These are Katsina indigenes doing the campaign themselves
PlayerMeji: Delusional grandeur or what do you call it...
Delusional grandeur because people are stepping up the campaign for Obi in the area you least expected?. If the comment makes you sleep well, who am I?
Jogs1900: Who are those that will do grassroot campaign for Obi?No poster here and you want people to vote you...I'm only seeing posters of Atiku,Tinubu and Rabiu.Even Obis running mate will loose his ward.
Penguin2: Nothing is happening in the north that has not happened before…
The fact that their Imams and Emirs who have left them pauperized will tell them not to vote the right candidate because he’s not Hausa but to rather vote any idiot that is Fulani and Muslim.
A cumulative effect of that decision is what has made the north become the poverty capital of the world with the highest number of out of school children and ravaged by insecurity.
And you are priding about what is happening in the north…. What’s the worst? You guys will vote Atiku or Tinubu and remain where you are.
I don't know what made them think salvaging Nigeria isn't in the best interest of all
