That's pathetic, why would the operatives act like that, but if you had mentioned that your tecno phone fell in water I would have asked you to put it in rice or garri to dry it, you myt not have needed to spend a dime afterall

CAVEAT:This is not to discourage anyone from visiting tecno carlcare thou,especially when your phones are still under warranty,the free service they provide is awesome,but when out of warranty and they bill you ridiculous prices,i believe its advisable to get a second opinion.

So i have this tecno w4 i  brought brand new for  26,500 at 3c hub digital square ikeja.unfortunately,my 2year old cousin tossed it inside water,it got damaged,took it to carl care(digital square),the lady told me rudely that it would cost me 16k,because the board got damaged,meanwhile the phone was working but it wasnt displaying anything on tbe screen,
I felt it would be wise to rather add money and go buy a brand new phone,so i left.
But on my way home i approached an engineer at computer village and explained my predicament to him,he sharply unscrewed the phone,did some brushing and cleaning,and screwed it back,just like a miracle,my water damaged tecno w4 which i was told the board has been ruined came back to life and still working perfectly till date,funny thing is that i didnt even spend up to 2k i even had to dash the engineer extra cash.
So people always seek a second opinion when you are been charged for out of warranty serices at tecno carlcare,but me personally,i would never vist there carlcare offices anymore.

why so sure, you myt meet other phone repairers and hear a different story, I have used tecno phones for years without it dying, so am talking from personal experience

check for the new f2 and f3 tecno just released, they are nice phones but you'll have to add a little something to your budget though

yeah,it works like magic, I used that to remedy my tecno m3 once

When you talk of selfies talk of the camon x pro, that's the real deal with a 24mp selfie camera

Yeah the camon cx isn't a bad option but since you have 45k already just add 2k and get the camon cm

My friend's camon cx has been acting up recently. It dosen't respond to commands at times, makes whatapp calls on its own, the keyboard dose not respond at times, the screen displays change at will...have tried hard reset severally and even dowloaded an update but the problem persists. What could be wrong and how much to fix it?

I'm currently using a Techno Camon CX Air which i bought brand new in September 2017. Since yesterday evening I have being having software issues on my phone with the message "Hios Launcher has stopped" or "Hios Launcher keeps stopping". As a result of this i can't access my maij menu to access other apps on my phone. I can only use the apps on my desktop.
I have had to restart the phone several times, but still the problem persist.
Please, kindly guide me on how incan get this issue resolved e as i have files on the phone which i wouldn't want to loose.

That's a big fat lie. I have used spark k7 before, and the battery can hardly go through the day even on light usage and power saver ON. I bought it brand new from 3C-Hub but later sold it to get infinix with 4000mah battery and the difference is very clear.

I use the spark too, the ba3 is great even though it myt not last a day sha

I had to use that phone when it was given to me by my brother, the time I used that device, I enjoyed it. Make madt sense.

My phone was misbehaving so I decided to do a factory reset, but after the factory reset at boot-up, it goes straight from the gateway screen (language selection screen) right to the WiFi setup screen, giving no way that I can see to get to the home screen.
I do not have WiFi at home and don't intend to get it, so I need to be able to navigate directly to the home screen instead, as I don't plan to use any WiFi connectivity at all from home. Is there a way to get past the WiFi setup screen and to the home screen? I've tried everything.
Don't tell me they engineered this thing in a way that does not allow the user to bypass WiFi settings and go straight to the home screen!?
All the Android gurus in the house help me out, my phone is useles if I can't by pass the wifi connection setup

i faced the same thing when I factory reset my spark after the update, you must not use Wi-Fi all you have to do is put on your data connection

on the issue of power banks, I think I'll give to oraimo power bank, I used to use it with my tecno m3 b4 and it was very efficient

Amazingly, the headset can transcribe your thoughts, we saw a similar idea and concept from an episode of Black Mirror but now it’s in reality’s fruition.


The new device is supposed to be worn on the face, and electrodes pick up signals from your jaw and face that are triggered by internal thoughts but are undetectable to the human eye.
