Ejadike: Hi NLanders In 2016 when TECNO Mobile introduced the Hi Manager alongside the customized UI interface, it was greatly received because up till then, people depended on 3rd party apps to organize their device. But with the advent of the Hi Manager, it meant one less app to download. In 2017, an update was released on TECNO Mobile devices that renamed Hi Manager to Phone Master… also, more features were added to the app.
Today, I would be showing you how to use the Phone Master app on your Camon CM:
LIGHTENING BOOST: This is used to clear your RAM when your device is running slow due to too many open apps. It’s one of the fastest method of freeing your RAM.
CLEAR TRASH: During the usage of your device, apps creates error logs, dump files and caches and they are stored up and would take up a lot of memory over a period of time. This function is used to clear all this error logs, dump files and caches and left over APK files stored by different apps on your device.
DATA TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT: This function has a lot of sub features like; Data Plan: Used to set up your data plan limit for the day, week or month. This would ensure you are able to plan your data usage for the set time.
Automatic Network Off: Put on this feature to switch off your data once your data limit is reached. Network Management: This is used to control which app access to your data. All installed on the device can be internet activated or deactivated. You can also use it to know each app’s data usage.
APP MANAGEMENT: This has the option to uninstall apps that are not frequently used. You could also adjust your app notification settings under this menu.
DEEP CLEAN: This menu further digs into your device and cleans heavy files. This is only advisable when you have done a full back up on your device. But it sure does a good job at cleaning your device
CLEAN WHATSAPP: This is specifically dedicated to the Whatsapp app. Since so much space is consumed by your Whatsapp due to the amount of pictures, videos and files exchanged on this app, this menu helps put you out of this misery.
FILE MOVE: This menu provides a one button click to move apps from phone memory to SD Card memory. Instead of going through the stress of locating files, pictures or videos under the File Manager, this option saves you all that stress. Everything is classified under their respective categories.
AUTO-START MANAGEMENT: There are some apps that start up with your device when you switch it on. This menu helps you to monitor such apps. You can either increase or decrease the number of these apps with this menu.
FREEZER: This menu is particularly useful when you don’t want to uninstall a rarely used app, yet you are running out of space. You can just freeze the app and to create more space and unfreeze it when you are ready to use it.
Despite the fact that this looks different from what we are used to seeing from TECNO Mobile (Referring to the Full Display), the specs are quite similar to last year’s offering. You have:
5.7-inch display 1440 x 720 resolution 16GB ROM/ 2GB RAM 13MP front facing camera with flash 4G LTE 3000mAh 13MP Rear camera with Quad flash 1.3 GHz Quad-core Android 7.0 OTG The same goes for the accessories — there is the transparent case, MicroUSB cable/ the power adapter and the SIM ejector PIN and the manuals.
Deicide: I Just tried Mtn 4g and the Download speed was between 10MB/s - 15MB/s whereas with 3g you get maximum 700KB/s the Gap is too much is it because of congestion?

But all this while phone are different phone companies have been releasing phones, I'm yet to see the phone I really really love starting from the iphone x to the samsung galaxy s9 and s9 plus. They are not really my thing I recently purchased a one plus 5 phone and after using it I sold it off because I found out it was not my type of phone. Then I kept on looking at the essential phone which I was able to purchase but I couldn't even use the phone because it was not also what I intended so I sold it off too. And now finally I can bring out money to buy phone and I'll be happy I bought a phone. Unveiling the huawei p20 bro, be the first phone to have 3 back cameras. 40 megapixel camera 12 megapixel camera and its megapixel camera. And then I tried to compare this phone with latest samsung galaxy s9 plus the iphone x and top end phones right now that we have and this phone's camera is the best of them all it is the bomb it is what you need it is so good you cannot compete you cannot compare you cannot contrast there's nothing you can do to say that this phone's camera is not the best camera right now. So if I spend up to 300 thousand naira right now to buy this phone I'll be very very happy that I bought this phone.

First ethics of smartphone photography is never use flash. But we take exception to this only when it's a snapshot.
Obviously, the Camon CM is good even though it might not be as good as the iPhone 7 camera whether with flash or not. And since it can achieve what the IPhone 7 can and is cheaper, I'd rather opt for the Camon CM.

Mastarcard: Sources have confirmed that TECNO Mobile is about to release a new device in the coming months. This might be a reply to recent release of the infinix Hot S3, just released by infinix mobile.
Although we are not sure of the specs or the release date but we assume it would be the sequel to the 'CAMON CX' and we would be calling it CAMON CX 2 and CAMON CX 2 AIR
The device is expected to come with:
3GB RAM for Camon CX 2 AIR and 4GB RAM for Camon CX 2 We are expecting a 1.51 GHz Octa Core Processor for the Camon CX 2 ARM MT6763V/V
The battery is expected to be around 4000MAh to 4200MAh for both the CX 2 and CX 2 Air
The camera would also be an upgrade from the previous Camon CX but the actual specs are not know. Our sources say 20MP front camera and 16MP + 2MP rear camera.
THIRD DEVICE
The third device would be a low end smart phone for those can't afford mid range or high end phones. This device would run on Andriod Oreo 8.1 Go Edition similar to the one on the Nokia 1. This device would run on

Phonecorridor: The internet has been inundated with the news of an upcoming Camon X device from TECNO Mobile which will run on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo.
According to what we heard, the upcoming smartphone will launch with a highly rated Selfie camera that shoots better pictures than the almighty iPhone X
There are rumours that the upcoming smartphone will feature a Blink and snap feature that will make it possible to take selfie with just a blink of the eyes. While we cannot confirm how true this was, TECNO CAMON devices have not just been awesome but have totally changed people’s perception about smartphone cameras in recent times.
Behankey: The popular TECNO Camon lineup is getting a new device soon. Dubbed the Camon X, the device will come in two variations; a normal version and a Pro version. TECNO has been teasing this new device on social media for a while now, and it is now official that it is launching on April 5th.
As at now, none of the specs are official. And there are no leaked images to work with. But expectedly, the new Camon X will look mostly like the old Camon CM that launched a few months ago.
Many articles online have suggested that the phone will feature a 60MP camera, dual selfie cameras, and an inbuilt liquid cooling system. I can work with the dual selfie cameras, but I don’t believe a 60MP camera or a cooling system.
A liquid cooling system in 2018 is embarrassing for any company. It means that the device most likely gets really, really hot. A 60MP camera means something has been interpolated. Which means nothing exciting.
Okay here are the expected specs of the TECNO Camon X and the Camon X Pro:

That 60MP that has been hyped is probably just software nonsense meant for marketing purposes. But I am excited for the dual rear setup that could mean really good photos. Plus, having a dual system means the CAMON line is now getting into the portrait mode game.

pioukul1: 1) They did a global launch here in Nigeria, bringing people from all over the world to see the beauty of our country. I don't think any brand has ever done that. Come to think of it, it is a foreign company but was least bothered with the insecurities in Nigeria.
2) They didn't do an event that had just Chinese people in it. Everybody was represented. Our own Minister of Information, Mr Shittu Adebayo was there, the meme king, Odunlade Adesola was there, beautiful Adunni Ade (Nollywood Actress). The Press was fully represented
3) They always make sure their devices are not way out of the reach of the average Nigerian, even with all the great qualities. I'm not saying they have the most superb quality, don't get me wrong ohh. The devices are good enough for everything you want to do with a smartphone. Though when it comes to Camera, I will say they are leading. With the Launch of the Camon X, which has a 24Mp front Camera, It is the first in this Market.
4) Shebi you people know that most companies do fake giveaways and promos... lol... I can remember when Jiji did a giveaway on Instagram and refused to give me the smart phone I won. I have noticed thata TECNO's giveaways are 100% genuine. They are always doing giveaways everyweek as if it is Christmas... lol.. (me, I won a goody bag)
5) TECNO is not all about the money too!... have yo been to Carlcare?... That place is awesome! . If your phone has a factory fault, like your screen start touching or pressing itself, or something weird starts happening to it, they will fix it free for you!. Most brands don't have this kind of customer service.
Whizzahd: It is quite disgusting for me to watch people rant and rave about the capabilities of techno canon series. wow!! seriously? I bet u that the quality of the camon x may not even be on par with she iphone 7. i have used camon CX air and i know what i am talking about. That camera sucks badly in low light. lots of grain and noise, and colours are always oversaturated and Washed OUT without capturing the true natural feel of the real object captured. iPhone x or Samsung s8 are grade 1 cameras. Tecno has a lot to learn. Do u think that because they give u specs of 21mp front and back, it makes it better than an,8mp selfie or 12mp rear samsung or iphone x xamera. tecno phones are built with budget friendly prices in mind,mind u. a #100000 phone cannot be better than a #200000 samsung or #400000 iphone x. i will explain the dazzling capabilities of iphone and samsung in the camera department on a different topic.never compare tecno with Samsung or apple when it comes to QUALITY.
