Lovely,

According to the information gathered from Vanguard, FRAUDSTERS have devised new methods of dispossessing victims of their cash and valuables in Lagos State and its environs. Unlike in the past when they sweet-talked their unsuspecting victims into parting with large sums of money in the guise of either doubling it or providing contacts that would facilitate the purchase of imported electronic items at cheaper rates, they now openly threaten and even rape their victims into submission.

Rapper Curtis ’50 cent’ jackson is teaming up with the World Food Program to see firsthand the effects of hunger in Somalia and Kenya.
The rap star flew to Dolo, Somalia on Wednesday. Tens of thousands of women and children have fled there over the last year to flee a devastating famine that killed tens of thousands of people across Somalia.
United Nations World food programe said the rapper, has committed to provide 1 billion meals for the hungry, and is donating to WFP 10 cents from every sale of a new energy drink called Street King that he is promoting.
In a statement released by WFP,50 cent said;

To meet those kids was so inspiring, they have nothing, yet they are so positive and optimistic,” What I am seeing is devastating — these women and children have risked everything to come to this Somalia camp, just to get food,” “They need our help.”I want to do my part so they get food and an education. I hope more people will join me to help end this devastating situation,”

The U.N. last week declared an end to Somalia’s six-month famine, though it said tens of thousands of people still need food aid to survive. The British government estimates that between 50,000 and 100,000 people died from the famine’s effects.
