Thats the part that just seemed so dubious to me. They all just seemed to hang all hope and all their arguments on that one chat, something anyone could fake. Anyhow sha, I wish them well.
Why do people pray for MMM to crash? ...

Around the world, mainly in Nigeria, MMM have helped thousands of people sustain a living.

Today, it entered a temporary #frozen mode, and so many people and media will come out to make the masses panic the more.

Now let me ask..

* what do we do when people owing us tell us to give them one month to pay? WE WAIT!

* what do we do when our employer tell use he cant pay salary for 2 months due to accrued debts? WE WAIT!

* All the civil servants that the government have been owing for months, what do they do? THEY WAIT!

*what do ladies that are dating and the fiancee promised them next December, what do they do? THEY WAIT!

* all the campaign promised that are promised to us and is to be fulfilled, what are we doing? WE ARE WAITING!

* most of us spent millions to get a certificate in various schools, yet no job, what are we doing? WE ARE WAITING!

THE COUNTRY HAVE TRAINED US TO ALWAYS WAIT.

MMM HAVE HELPED MILLIONS. And still helping

IF THEY WANT TO SHUT DOWN, THEY WONT GIVE U ACCESS TO LOG IN TO THE SITE...

IF IT HAVE HELPED YOU BEFORE, BELIEVE IN IT NOW, .....I PERCEIVE A JOYFUL JANUARY FOR ALL MMM PARTICIPANTS .

IF YOU HAVE SPARE MONEY, PH, YOU WONT BE MATCHED TILL JANUARY... AND YOUR MONEY WILL GROW IN YOUR POCKET.

na people when nor dey do MMM dey shout pass....
InvestmentRe: BREAKING: MMM Set To Lift BAN, “monies” To Be Released In Batches by suremossty(m): 9:58pm On Dec 15, 2016
seunlly:
Bro there is still hope now.
Authorities of the popular ponzi scheme,
MMM, is set to lift the ban it placed on
“Monies” in the scheme following outcry
by participants of the scheme in
Nigeria.
The MMM one month ban notice
The scheme which many have described
as fraud had failed in South Africa and
Zimbabwe and was equally banned in
China.
According to MMM Nigeria operators,
“some Mavro will be released before the
30 days release date probably in
batches.”
Also, participants cannot provide and
get help for now as the administrators
“will use this period to tackle other
issues we have with support,” the
operators said.
The good news is coming after an
emergency meeting was held on
Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at by
MMM Nigeria Global which said the ban
was to ‘restructure’ the scheme.
At the end of the meeting, MMM Nigeria
issued a communiqué that; within the 1
month Mavro ban, it will continue
growing.
“The freeze periods may even be less
than 1month but it all depends on
programmers and how fast they can
finish.
“This year We will have a new model to
help make this community sustainable
in Nigeria.
“We will post clarification with more
details about the Frozen Mavro on
everyone’s PO. Some Mavro will be
released b4 the 30 days release date
probably in batches.
“Next week we will implement change
of guider button on every participants
PO. New section in our Personal Office
will be installed this week
“PH and GH order dispatching has been
stopped for a while. Meaning they
aren’t matching anyone for the
meantime. We will use this period to
tackle other issues we have with
support.
The leadership of the scheme in Nigeria
said the progress, failure and
expentation of the scheme depends on
the participants.
“MMM Nigeria’s progress depends on
you, your expectation determines the
future. You determine what you want.
You have to encourage yourselves and
you downlines.”

DJBIGGY:
what of bankers who use customer money without their knowledge to do MMM? They should be jailed!
Thank you.

The problem here is misinformation, not MMM crashing, and sadly enough, most MMM participants do not even understand what the freeze is about.

Normally when you pay in or provide help, your investment is frozen for two weeks, after which you're eligible to withdraw, but they decided that because of the Xmas rush they should extend that freeze period to one month, so people can only request for money only after a month of confirmed payment, (this one month period is relative to when anyone makes his/her payment, and not a unified one month period: eg. If I make a confirmed payment on the 2nd of December, my one month period will last till the 2nd of January, after which I can withdraw, and if another person makes a confirmed payment on the 7th of December, his one month period will elapse on the 7th of January, after which he can withdraw) so, I am actually surprised why people are making up all these news to scare others, even the MMM participants who never had any reason to complain about the usual two weeks freeze period...Is it because they said the new system will last until second week of January? It only means that freezing period of one complete month will continue to be in practice until second week of January, and not that nobody can withdraw until second week of January.

Please I haven't benefited from MMM (not yet though) , so, I think my insight on the issue isn't biased.

MMM could have been a perfect platform to make some money if not for GREED.

How can someone invest 300k and get 1.9 million naira at the end of the month. Thank you.

Or 1million naira to get 6 million naira. This is ridiculous greed. Woe betide all of them.
Whereas, an ordinary member of mmm will invest 300k and get about 390k or 1 million naira for about 1.35 million naira within the same time frame.
Greed crumbled mmm.
The bonuses allocated to those guiders and admin is just too outrageous.

If peradventure mmm comes back alive which is only about 30% possible, they should cancel all those ridiculous bonuses or at least,
Direct referrers should get 5%
So-called guiders should get 0.000001%.

The mavro growth should be reduced to 10 - 20% growth in a month.
Mavro growth should be EVERYDAY and not Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I don't know what category I fall according to the OP's classification. But I would tell anyone who cares to listen that MMM is a scam. In that Scam some people would benefit and some people would lose; those who would eventually benefit are those who would cause the loss of others. It is very simple to see that the whole scheme does not create wealth in whatsoever manner; it is simply a redistribution of wealth. MMM cannot continue forever it is bound to crash, because the extra money being made by people is not coming from anywhere other than from the people themselves; at some point in time, the whole scheme will crash and perhaps it has crashed. So if you are lucky that you have benefited good luck to you and if you have lost your money like most people in my office; sorry hard luck.

The biggest mistake MMM participants made about the scheme is that someone out there is trying to bring them down. When the scheme was bound to fail in the end, for God's sake you can't take money from A and give to B without creating value, and expect the system to run forever, whwt happens when it's saturated?. It was this very foundational problem that made people detest those who participated in the scheme, not jealousy or another person trying to change his financial status by taking money from someone else like you said.. the annoying thought that Nigerians were clouded by greed and couldn't think beyond the moment was what got me mad .

The MMM Ponzi schemers took advantage of the confusion to create an "us" versus "them" war between MMMites and the govt., Media etc and made them believe that it was the later that was the problem. Let me say it again , no reputable business operates in a country without registration, or paying tax, no business shuts down its operation abruptly and tell customer it would resume next year without atleast a months notice.

No apologies to those who lost their money, they deserved what they got, they refused to heed to warnings. They failed to learn from experience from neighborhing countries like SA and Zimbabwe. MMM is never coming back up, learn and move on. No guider got an atom of clue what's happening, don't be fooled they know nothing. They would only try to raise your hopes but they know it's gone....

The rate at which some people are happy that MMM has suspended payment till next year January 2017 is really alarming. They even claim the scheme has crashed when it's evident that it hasn't.
With the advent of government, private /public institutions and individuals opposition to the scheme i'm really convinced that there is an unseen hand or rather a secret society running Nigeria's financial sector that doesn't want any form of opposition and also seeks to create more debtors and spread poverty rather than millionaires that MMM is making.

Nairaland GeneralEfcc Ready To Prosecute Aisha Buhari by suremossty(op): 9:07pm On Oct 20, 2016
EFCC Turns Searchlight On Aisha Buhari And Brothers; Why The First Lady On 'Asylum' In UK

Reliable information reveal the troubles bedeviling the 1st family of Nigeria maybe far from over judging by the demeanor of the President of the federal republic of Nigeria and the body language instruction dished out to the various anti-graft agencies in the country.

A highly reliable source stated that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission [EFCC] has opened a comprehensive probe on the person of the 1st lady over her interaction with the many lobbyists looking to reach her husband for a favor.

Source revealed that the relationship between the 1st lady and the President had so much deteriorated to a near none existent following a few days after the swearing-in as the President of the federal republic of Nigeria.

Chief on the top reasons why the President turned away from the 1st lady was her desire to play the role of the 1st lady in the manner other 1st ladies had played – in the likes of Stella Obasanjo, Turaki Yar’Adua and Patience Jonathan.

Aisha Buhari wanted to have the type of influence over her husband as the other 1st ladies before her. She wants to influence who is appointed to certain sensitive positions in her husband’s administration, and to effectively control certain aspect of the government. Source adds that she had already become a ‘paid’ lobbyist of some sort. “She did not waste time in collecting money from businessmen and other people looking to meet her husband”, said the source who added that Buhari in the know of her money collecting activities – that he blocked her out of his daily activities.

“Buhari would walk in to the house from work in the evening and he would immediately walk upstairs to his room and lock the doors to keep Aisha away from his room“, stated the source as he explained the cold shoulder given to Aisha by Mohammadu Buhari immediately he discovered her intent to become involved in his administration as his life partner.

According to the source, Buhari was not comfortable with the information from friends and associates concerning Aisha’s mingling with politicians and businessmen who were interested in meeting with the President. For this reason, the President decided on avoiding communication with his wife, the 1st lady. On some occasion, Mohammadu Buhari had instructed the 1st to refund the monies collected from several sources – of which the 1st lady did not take lightly with her husband.

“Her lifestyle needs money and power, and it is so different from what Mohammadu Buhari can tolerate” Information on her upbringing and background spell extravaganza and luxurious lifestyle. “She wants and loves money and things money can buy so much that she is willing to harbor and encourage corruption” said source as he continued,

“She is from a different generation from Buhari and she has little personal relationship with her husband to enable her relate her concerns to him“. And he can care less of her opinions on policies or government matters.

Buhari’s realization of Aisha’s brother, Musa’s interference in his administration was one of the initial problems that greeted the President. Aisha’s brother had begun reaching to individuals seeking to do business with the Buhari’s administration – immediately Buhari won the presidential elections.

Reports have it that he raised amounts in excess of N500million within a span of six month following the presidential elections. The President was not happy with Musa. He directed for Musa to be bundled out of the Presidential villa and banished from Villa. A source from the villa told 247ureports.com that he was handcuffed an escorted out of the villa.

It is to this point that the presidency took to action. The President, according to the source instructed for all information of financial wrong doing by his wife and her siblings should be directed to the EFCC for further investigation. The Chairman of the EFCC – who is presently battli
