You've ever seen Bayern Munich purchase any player at such ridiculous prices? The highest they've ever paid for a player is £72m, while 9 of their top 10 most expensive transfers are all within £40m range

Poco x3 pro from xiaomi authorised store, just like its happening to you. 75 days passed It never came.
You'd eventually have to wait and get your refund, but don't worry, you'll be paid....
Did you open the dispute immediately the 75 days elapsed or you've opened it some days earlier

Tracking says this package got to Nigeria on the 15th.
The Nipost customer service agent here said it hasn't gotten to Nigeria.

You and I on same boat, mine has been like this since 13 of October, after clearing custom..Abi Nipost is on strike?
From what I have gathered on this thread, the tracking details should have updated to "Arrival at inward office of exchange" almost the same day it arrives at the destination country. I've received a package once that doesn't have such information in the tracking details though.

You don't think it'll arrive ?
I don't think so. 15th of October till now is 10 days already, and it's quite surprising it's just getting updated today
Technology Market / Re: This Thread Is Only For Aliexpress Shopper by sureteeboy(m): 7:36pm On Oct 25, 2021
Lol. This package just got updated today that it has arrived country of destination since 15th of October.
Patiently waiting for the end of the buyer protection

So, I got stuck at this point too. So, sent a complaint mail to customer service. They just called me now to inform me that the service has been discontinued and I will be informed when it's back online
Wow. Maybe I shouldn't bother contacting them again.
Thanks for the feedback

Good morning. Your main account should come up for debit charges... I don't know why yours isn't displaying, though. Maybe try a different browser?... I used mobile chrome on iOS for mine.
Also I was charge a total of 500 naira for the card, but I see yours has VAT included. Don't know why that is.
I'll try another browser.
If it doesn't work, I'll call the customer care tomorrow. Thanks
Technology Market / Re: This Thread Is Only For Aliexpress Shopper by sureteeboy(m): 11:23am On Oct 24, 2021

Was charged 481.2 naira to a dollar. I arrived at that figure by comparing what I was charged with the price of the product in dollars, since I didn't receive a readjusted debit alert which they normally send after full payment confirmation.
Good Morning. Please, I got to this place and I couldn't proceed any further. It's asking me to select account to debit and nothing is coming out there

Yes, but you will agree that the 10mb then last far longer than the 100mb we get for same amount now.
Plus the Edge network we have then load page faster than the vrap 4G they claimed to be giving us now.
Yeah. That's due to resolution increase.
Phones then have resolutions of 128×128, 128×160 and so on. Only the likes of Nokia Xpress music, Nokia 2700 then had 240*320 resolutions. This means the browsers we use then (Default phone browsers) are designed in a way to ensure pictures on web pages are extremely compressed to sizes of 10-30kb for easy viewing, which significantly reduces data consumption.
Now that devices have resolutions of 1920 × 1080 (roughly 2 million more pixels compared to a 240×320 screen), no one wants to see a 10-30kb picture again which would probably have a resolution of 128×160 or thereabout, as it would be extremely rasterized and blurry.
Same applies for videos. The ones we stream online now have far higher bitrates that the ones we used to watch then, so it consumes more data

13 Years After The Movie "Merlin", See How The Main Cast's Of Merlin Looks Like Now [Photos]

The movie "Merlin", was a popular American series movie which was acted by some many talented movie stars.

It was a TV show, not a movie, and also, it's a British series

I missed the days of Nokia Java/symbian phones where u use 10mb for a week or more, when sites like sefan.ru, waptrick.com, wapdam.com etc was our go-to site for games and apllications. When games like pes 2010, assassin creed, mortal combact, prince of Persia, etc was our best games then Infact very addicting, where we had 2in1 mobile applications e.g facebook and 2go, when we scout for free browsing cheat, when having a Nokia music express phone is like having an 1phone 12 pro, when we didn't have to break the bank to pay for data charges. I honestly missed those good old days
grin grin grin grin
Lol. I'm the one who always configure the phones for my peers then.
But data is far more expensive then than now.
We buy that 10MB for #100

Education / Re: Army day secondary school , Benin: I Almost Cried When I Visited My Old School by sureteeboy(m): 6:23pm On Oct 21, 2021

Since you're holding government responsible. There is no need to provide water, security, light, healthcare for yourself... Anytime you're in need of these basic needs. Take your Governor President, LGA Chairman to court because you are paying tax...VAT etc to provide them for you! It is their responsibility! grin

If you have not charged government to do their basic responsibilty towards you, you are now saying those same people will provide for a school where they have no interest
Nigerians are so accustomed to mediocrity and suffering that they don't even understand their rights anymore.
Which of those things listed in the attached picture does the government provide? And I can't seriously fathom why someone will be rush to the government's defense when they're being called out for failing to perform one of their responsibilities.

You provide light for yourself, provide water for yourself, provide security for yourself, fund your own private education yourself...

From the meagre sum some employees pay you, they deduct government tax... Govt tax you stamp duty, vat and other levies at the local, state and federal level.

What is the essence of having a government if it cannot the most basic needs of a society which is good public education?

It's foolishness to mention Obama and any Nigerian public figure in the same sentence. Obama lives in a society where things work at least 70%.

Tell me one thing that is working up to 30% correctly in Nigeria... What kind of society produces 1 successful person and 10,000 failed persons and expects progress?

Since you're indirectly saying we should shoulder our burden, then you should equally call for a scrapping of the government.

Successful countries like Germany, USA, France, China, Austria, Canada never joke with the quality of their public education. The government ensures the quality of public education is top notch so as to ensure the quality of manpower in the country in future remains very high.

In Nigeria, we have people like you calling for government to abandon its duties.

It's such a pity we have the likes of you roaming the streets of this contraption called Nigeria.

I'm very sure if the likes of you become governor or president, you'll embezzle the money meant to fund public education while calling on Old Students Association to gather funds to go employ teachers and repair their decaying schools.

May sense fall on you.
God bless you for this piece. That other post is extremely infuriating that I was surprised to see it has 7 likes. It's not out of place if old students decide to contribute to the development of their school, but why make it seem it's entirely their responsibility?
