[quote author=VickJames post=38076808]Buhari made a very stupeed statement when he said ministers are not needed. Who submits economic plans, ideas, and manage the ministries? So, Buhari is trying to say what Adesina did in the agricultural sector was mere noise-making? Or what some Akunyili in the information ministry was mere noise-making? Is it the ministries where we still have old men with 1970 brains that he is calling technocrats? So, they've been technocrats all these years and all the ministries are more or less dead except with the timely intervention of some ministers who gave many of their jobs to some consulting firms to save them from mass sack. A ministry without minister is like an army without a commander. They know how to kill, but they don't know who to kill. When I say the economy is run by someone who lacks the mental capacity to think of the box, they'll say someone is wailing. [/ quote] If you can only single out akunyili out of 42 ministers inYar'adua regime and only Adesina in GEJ regime, then I think Ministers are mere noise-makers. |
14 days ultimatum to appoint a Minister of Education, when the president had promised to unveil his Ministers on/before 30th! Why not 2 months ultimatum? Mtcheew. |

The special assistant on new media should publish the "unforged" documents or keep kwayet. He should on behalf of his principal also shed lights on the inec form issue. He who can "doctor" Senate rule to realise his ambition can forge any other thing. |

Saraki is a leader in his own right, but if they ever teach history our schools again, they will teach the unborn generations of the roles played by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the dreaded Abacha era; how he remain a lone ranger after the 2003 election; how he fought the federal government and survived without federal allocation due to local governments in his second term; how he nurtured an unknown party and played a big role in forming the biggest opposition party that later sent an incumbent parking;:the first time in the history of our dear country. hate him/like him, Asiwaju had played a vital role in nurturing our nascent democracy. I hope history would be kind to saraki too. |
Why would you consider marrying a non-muslim in the first instance, when it's clearly prohibited for a Muslim lady to marry a non-muslim! While I quite agreed that age might not be on your side, why not seek for Allah's intervention and put your trust in Him alone. Though the choice remain yours, but never forget that we shall account for our deeds on the day of resurrection. |
