Politics / Re: Sanwo-olu: Red Line Rail Project Is Set For Commissioning by Suunnn(f): 7:36pm On Feb 04
Lanrelagboi:
More relief to come for millions of Lagos residents in weeks ahead as Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu reiterated his administration’s commitment to the completion of the second phase of the blue line rail project and flag off the commercial operation of the red project.

He said the red line rail service, when inaugurated in a few weeks, would further ease vehicular traffic congestion associated with the routes its built on.

The red line rail covers Agbado area in Ogun State through Otto in Lagos.

Governor Sanwo-Olu made the commitment on Thursday, during a high-level meeting with the President and management of the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, CCECC at its headquarters in Beijing, China.

Sanwo-Olu, who was accompanied to the meeting by the Honourable Commissioner of Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, the Managing Director of Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority, LAMATA, Mrs. Abimbola Akinajo and other top government officials informed the CCECC team, that his Government had promised over twenty two million Lagosians that it would solve the traffic and transportation challenge they currently faced hence the need to take off without any further delay.

The Governor, who expressed satisfaction on the pace of progress of the red line project, hinted that the State Government is ready to inaugurate the red line rail for commercial operation as soon as Presidency communicates the availability of the President Bola Tinubu, who has agreed in principle to officially commission the project.

Nigerians must be coerced softly before they can succumb to new ideas and policy changes. Do it gradually and favourably not through propaganda and coercion for it is sweeter that way, you never understood why okonjo iweala is a genius today along with the black blacksheep SLS former CBN governor.

https://www.nairaland.com/7909983/self-centred-wife#126951809

I went through this trend, and its not the first time I'm reading stuffs like this, it's all over the net. Men in general are becoming weaker, docile and simps in relationships/marriage

How can you as a Man, be in a marriage and your wife dictates how you use your money! It puzzles me. I'm starting to think maybe there is a concoction that ladies out in guys food to make them mentally weak and submissive

My fiance once asked me how much do I earn, i told her "as long as I'm feeding, clothing and have a roof over her head, she doesn't need to know".

She once questioned me too on why I'm I sending my mother that much money in this economy. I told her "how is that her business, did I ever asked her why and how much he sends to get parents"!!

I'm not saying she shouldn't have an input in your finance, but there should be a limit and only if you ask for an advice. Ladies of these generation are not like our parents time, many of them purposely want to frustrate and belittle your authority as a man
I would begin by saying in as much as there are a whole lot of women out here and there doing this as you claim

There are very humble women too!

Next is, for me it is a vice versa thing because i have encountered scenerios where men do this as well

And it is annoying!!

And straight to point, i feel and think for women who do this,, they do this to over possess,,, be the Man there which is too bad

And these women are not doing it well because it is wrong, and for the men too most times it could be the man's way of life too!!!

There’s a reason why your kpekus is sealed by God. It’s only for your husband. You can’t have many body counts and you expect an innocent man to pay for your bride price. Your past matters as a woman!

From ur explaination' tattoo is evil because it's for fun, can be drawn anywhere and most likely don't have any significant important..
Now what about those who draw it because of a past memory or victory, should we condemn everybody?..
Do not get me wrong please

To begin with, had to differentiate

And to your question, tattoo to me is not a bad thing but tribal mark in comparison to tattoo is not the same and those having tattoo is not bad,, all depend on how you tattoo,,, what you tattoo really and etc.

For me

Tribal Mark is traditionally based, or do i say a kind of norm // belief with also body mark limited
That is, the drawing or drawings are specific and not drawn just anyhow,, talking body parts

Tattoo is fun based, in the sense that majority apply for it and thus venture in various art attached or drawn to their bodies
And these drawing or drawings are not limited, it or they could be inscripted or drawn just anywhere based on the carrier

Few years ago, once you wake up by 6:45am to 7:00am you would have like 8-10 lines of fresh posts on nairaland front page. But this days 8am - 9am no post.

My suggestion is that reasonable Gen Zs should be employed to run the platform. Because,2006-2013 we were their age bracket and we did lots of things on this platform by educating ourselves without insults. Getting first time information about latest free browsing data, when NECO or WAEC results are out. NYSC info's etc.

The older we get the more responsibility we will have. When I was younger I could sit down and watch 5 movie in a day, but recently I can't even watch film for 30 minutes without feeling sleepy, it's a sign of maturity

generalpelu:
I started scouting for writing gigs on Nairaland in 2020. It was a very tough time for me financially.

I submitted interest in working for a guy who said he needed articles every day for a blog. The articles were to be an average of 500 words each day. We agreed on ₦1/word (not agreed though, he said he would pay...lol). I accepted because it was something at the time. I wrote several samples to prove my craft. And at the end, he left me hanging.

Soon, I met another guy who needed a rewriter. I applied. He gave me samples to rewrite. He was content with one and not with the other. He didn't get in touch any longer.

I was getting fed up about this endless sample writing. I upped my game. I began tackling low payment on the platform. Some outsourcers told me that I'll never get gigs with my attitude. I told them I don't need gigs from slavers (clients who stress you) like them.

As Providence would have it, this lady reached out to me in February 2021. She needed my services for long term. She asked that we discuss price, and we agreed on ₦1.70 (a far better price than what outsourcers do pay at the time). We kick-started and boom. My first pay was a 10000 word e-book at ₦17300. The second was ₦34000. And that was how we rolled for 2021. God bless you, Lammy.

Funnily, I don't even know her here. I don't know her username. I don't know which of my write-ups she saw here that made her reach out. But it was without stress.

With time, I got several other clients here. I avoided the stressful ones. As we say in our local English parlance, "who go epp you no go stress you." Good clients won't stress you.

Check me out... I'm that writer you need. My contact is in my signature... I'll be expecting you.
You are right really

Very nice clients will not stress you indeed, true one
