I got b1b2 visa few weeks ago and I told d VO I was going to av my baby in the usa.My hubby's office health insurance covers my maternity in d usa.Hubby wrote to the insurance company whose office in usa to ask for the procedure and they replied that his insurance covers all my maternity bill in the usa but they asked we send them the name of the hospital we intend to use so they can pay directly to them and then give us a settlement note.My fear is will it affect my subsequent renewals? Is a non citizen/perm resident allowed to use her health insurance for medicals in the state? Kindly advice as am so scared and wouldn't want to have problem in my subsequent renewals. Thanks You're paying for your bills through your Nigerian Insurance company. As long as the insurance has nothing to do with 'internal settlement' then you're good to go. I mean, if your Nigerian insurance company won't use some insurance means to make the payment to the hospital - they will pay cash right? ~ Sheyi |

Classicalmusic: @Jenny, I've read all your comments. You sounded so negative. Why?
You only went to few cities such as Guangzhou and Dongguang and claimed that you know it all? Please think twice.
When i was in China with another friend, we were well-respected and built lots of trust and connections with some specific Chinese people and is probably why I still control things when I'm being given something to do that is related to China
Another concept to think about when talking about countries is to know there are benefits and drawbacks.
No one should claim specific country is the best in terms of everything. It strictly depends on what you want in life and of course, going all out to achieve it.
The Chinese are now controlling the economy. Forget about political statistics which ranks the USA number one. Even Obama knows the truth.
So, please do not put someone's future in jeopardy. Your destiny and his destiny is not the same. You can only encourage him to strive for success. Wherever you're, if you achieve success, people will respect you. Some people in the US, Germany, Canada have lived for so long and have nothing to show to their families. Even some are cooling off in jail You don't get the point. He wants to study and work at thesame time. Forget about the bad post about China, help the OP solve his problem. Is China good for him? ~ Sheyi |

Luvlydevin: good day room my appointment date is pretty fast approaching o, and if given visa by the grace of God am supposed to travel on December 9 and come back January 9 for 1 month,I graduated (ond) this September and I Will be starting my one year (IT ) industrial training this comming Monday as I just got accepted yesterday, my question is this would my( IT ) industrial training serve as a tie for me comming back to Nigeria, I Will be travelling with my mom and step dad please your humble reply is needed here Your own case 'might' affect your others. The IT is not a good tie to come back to Nigeria but it also depends on the sponsor and what he/she is into. If the sponsor is a heavy weight, you might scale through. Your IT papers just came after you booked appointment for the visa interview. Meaning, you never wanted to use the IT as a tie before All the best and be confident during interview ~ Sheyi |

Donxavier: Thread is about the best African country to migrate too, presumably from Nigeria. Ideally, people with long term residence visas/ or citizens of these countries and that have also lived considerably in Nigeria are in the best position to speak on this. What I am saying is that it isn't enough to say SA is better than Nigeria because of Infrastructure or institutions etc without also sharing how they got there and how they are legal residents there.
For a lay person reading this thread hoping to emigrate to say Kenya, apart from the kenya guys saying Nairobi is better than lagos, they need to also give info about how they relocated to Kenya legally. Ask something new. All you're saying have been discussed here. Start reading from the beginning and see the comparison including the debate as well. ~ Sheyi |

Don't mislead people here, another website stated the same info that Nigerians need a visa to Tanzania, its not visa free or visa on arrival. Embassy website will not have misleading info while an airline has the correct one
Give me link to that airline that told you otherwise. My bad. Not applicable to Nigerians in Nigeria. Get visa before going to Tanzania and wakanow.com is the best option. Just N40, 000 for the visa - you gotta buy ticket from em ~ Sheyi |

This thing is simple, you're a Nigerian, you want to go study abroad. I'm damn sure your parents won't be sending you fees from time to time including money for clubbing and all those shii You wish to work while studying. SA is not the best option neither China is. You've got to set your priorities right. Go after something reasonable. Errone is going to SA to do biz and study and live because they've got the resources to do that. I'll still go to SA for visit anytime I'm chanced, if for nothing but for those big (bigger than nicki minaj) buttys down there. Damnit, those ladies are something else. So OP, you want to work and study at same time? Go to neither country. No work for you in SA (no guaranteed one) and you need grace of God to get one (God catch you if you're an atheist). lol We are here to help ourselves and not to condemn any country You want a good live? Then go to a place where you'll likely get a better life by doing the right thing. Racism full everywhere of course, that matersless. Even Jenny is a racist, she didnt invite me to come devour the turkey stew. Madam, you owe me So, OP, think right. Research more. What can you do? What have you got to offer in terms of skills? What and what are your powers capable of doing? As for me, I make my living online. I've got books on Amazon, the little change i get monthly is enough to survive anywhere I find myself in. Before you start looking for luck. Think of what you got to give to get the luck justi4jesu, I'm sorry but I've got to divorce you through this medium. Dont ever try to beg me. chukxie: Leave that girl ( lady) alone. She can yap about all she wants. She paints a whole country bad because of what she saw (sees) in Guangzhou. It's like saying all Nigerians are criminals, racists, dirty and whatnot. That's generalising. And it's wrong and has no place in a healthy discourse. Any argument based purely on subjectivity shouldn't be taken seriously regardless of the facts the arguer is positing. Be objective and people will take you more seriously. She said she's been to China three times and the only thing she likes about China is its abundant availability of cheap food; everything other thing is crappy. Funny and ridiculous I must say. In essence what she's saying is there's no cheap food in Nigeria. So, whenever she's hungry, she buys plane tickets worth N180K and above, flies into China, eats a bellyful of cheap food and flies back to wherever she came from. That's bollocks! She visits China to either do business or travel. My take is that she visits China for business. Since she's made it clear that everything in China is crappy, then it's fair to assume she's one of those unscrupulous crappy business people who go there to buy crappy products which they sell to unsuspecting customers in Nigeria. It's logical, right? She's of a higher knowledge than you. She made a point earlier and went ahead to quote the person's reply on SA thread. Now, you never bothered to really check on who she is and you're just typing all what you could type. @OP, the main reason why you want to travel abroad is to work during studies (except your father is Akpabio) and make some money - even save some to buy things and send to Nigeria. China is not the place. Where is the work? I'd love someone studying in China o come here and tell us how they make money as a student. Exccept of course you're into some legit online freelancing jobs. Look into better countries. Its worth your time and money for the first time. You'd be fine if you go to a better country ~ Sheyi |

Tanzania is visa free to Nigerians.
Buy your ticket and fly down there.
You get visa on arrival.
Better still, fly to Nairobi first, and you can get in to Tanzania thru bus (heard its far and fun)
So don't go kill yourself looking for a Tanzania visa from Nigeria.
BTW, you have to set your priorities right!
