BluntBoy: And we beat your team in 2008. No big deal.
I am sure you people were happy to avoid us this year only to lose to an under fire Tunisian team that our Super Eagles would have snacked on. Check ur facts nigeria never beat Ghana in 2008 |
Sports › Re: Ghana Knocked Out Of AFCON by Swanzi(m): 7:53pm On Jul 09, 2019 |
BluntBoy: That is just a saying, not reality. Ghana is no better than South Africa, but being perennial foes, a match with Ghana poses more threat to our ambition than a match with South Africa. If we beat South Africa on Wednesday, it would still amount to beating one of the best teams in Africa. Any team that has reached the last 8 is no walkover. However, each team poses a different threat. A terrible Ghanaian team would pose a great threat to Nigeria any time any day, and vice versa. Even Ghana would have wanted to avoid Nigeria.
There is no issue of best or better in this matter. Stop deluding urself if ur team is good then it’s good it doesn’t matter how intense the the rivalry.. Eg our team of 92 beat Nigeria enroute to the final cos we were the best simple . |

holllandis: It was a pure handball .VAR would have still cancelled it
This is the problem with African TV stations especially west Africa .They show useless advert during half time and you can't see any analysis and slow motion cameras .
I watched the match and it was handball .It is either the referree didn't see the linesman flag in time hence it was called late or VAR was used in that match Which kind tv are u using hope is not carthode ray tube cos that was NEVER handball go watch the replay ss7. |

PastorOluT: Dont say that, quite well the ref made a mistake but made up for it when he denied Tunisia a clear penalty when a goal bound ball was stopped with hand by a Ghanian defender. To me Ghana lost the match fairly. Tho Ghana played far better than their counterpart but hey, that's football for u. Yes true but if the goal had stood it would have changed the complexion of the game in our favour and they could never have recovered |
Sports › Re: Ghana Knocked Out Of AFCON by Swanzi(m): 11:54am On Jul 09, 2019 |
BluntBoy: This is a competition, not a period to build relationships.
We want obstacles out of our way to the AFCON trophy. Now that Ghana is out, we have less foes to deal with. On Wednesday, we hope that Super Eagles take South Africa out. If Benin can take Senegal out, we would again have less foes to deal with towards the final day.
At least, this is how I view it. You want to be the best beat the best. |
Sports › Re: Ghana Knocked Out Of AFCON by Swanzi(m): 11:51am On Jul 09, 2019 |
RTSC: Nigeria is going to win the 4th afcon to equal Ghana.
The last time Ghana won one was in 1982. Nigeria has won three since then.
If not for Samuel etoo dealing with the super eagles on so many occasions, we could have won six by now. Bro think we’ve slept for 40years but yet u still Can’t break the record of our forebearers ain’t we superior?? |

Nigeria’s main problem is that they are missing 3key players who were influential in thier wc qualification and pre-wc success.. 1.Victor Moses (retired) 2. Kelechi iheanacho(out of form) 3.mikel obi (out of form) Until worthy replacements are found for these then nigeria will struggle as usual. My take from an honest Ghanaian |

Nazarethnaza: Oluwaseyi “Seyi” Awolowo is the grandson of Obafemi Awolowo. He has had many highs and lows in his three decades of existence. The bubbly entrepreneur once tried to commit suicide but has since risen above that dark period of his teenage years and has turned his life around.
He is committed to his journey of self-acceptance, his girlfriend and his beliefs. He demonstrates the latter with a “Jesus’’ tattoo across his arm. Seeing his own face on a billboard for the first time is one of the highest moments of his life so far. He further revealed that he will look for trouble a lot. Not single or available. Taken. Very blunt.

Hintona: those silly Ghanaians think they are better than Nigerians, only if their population was as large as ours, then they'll see an alarming increase in their crime rate. Please in all sincerity did u watch the clip...? How did they reducle Nigerians? As far as I can remember 419 is no on the Nigerian constitution which talks about fraud. Please argue responsibly as lady n stop the hate Ghanaians are not responsible for ur unfortunate life.. And please why do u equate large population with crime...u get sense so?then China n India will be the crime capital of the world. |
