![]() Sweeeeeeeeeeet¡ Bravo Griffin, I was beggining to worry that Nelson Mandela will only be remembered as a "yes Sir" and not a revolutionary that he was. Its no secret Nelson Mandela led the ANC into the armed struggle in which he was personally involved and sent all the narcist british settlers trembling into their corners. And was about to take South Africa by force when he was arrested. He said he was ready to die for his country and his beliefs. Terrorist or not in case you forget Britain the man was no walkover as many would like to believe. The english need to know that Africa will never be their safe haven in this life or in the next! I wish uTata could here this he would lough so hard and smile his Oros smile, that atleast those racist pigs will still remember his bite. As he was never a toothless dog! Nkosi Sikelela IFrika |
ogugua88: A fetus is not a human being. That's like calling a sprouting mango seed a full mango tree. Sweetcheecks: What then constitute a human being? As the foetus has everything that a human being has unlike a seed. ogugua88: A fetus isn't a human being. That's a fact.Definition of young adjective (younger /jŋg/, youngest /jŋgst/) not as old as the norm or as would be expected: [attributive] relating to or consisting of young people: immature or inexperienced: 1. having lived or existed for only a short time: 2. (the Younger) used to denote the younger of two people of the same name: noun [treated as plural] Phrases with young (of an animal) offspring, especially of an animal before or soon after birth: many grebes carry their young on their backs So please do not contradict yourself as per your difinition of a foetus its reffered to as a young not a seed as you earlier stated. And you are the only one who was a seed when you were a foetus. Anyway, this was an awareness thread and dear your experiences should hinder you from letting others have their own experiences. With your kind of definition of things I would be worried for anyone to take your word and experience for anything. Hence putting all the info out there for people to make up their minds and draw from their own experiences. Being on a power trip becouse you have authority to move and delete things when you feel things are uncomfortable based on your experience is a shame. |

Insider Information!!! The South African Lil Diva Asanda Jezile, gets signed on by Simon Cowell to build her brand and record an album, having not won the BGT competition with all contreversy surrounding British community and its issues with children participating in such big events. Happy to celebrate with Asanda as she make her first step in her career as a super star at only 11 years old. As per Alisha's words Asanda is a freak of life, the best evet 11year old to have such a talent! Hooraaayyy Asanda! Keep shining girl! A real diamond! BGT’s Asanda may get record deal June 10 2013 at 03:09pm By KAREN CHEN PROMISING: Asanda The 11-year-old Asanda Jezile may have walked away from the Britain’s Got Talent reality show without the crown, but she managed to get notoriously difficult judge Simon Cowell’s attention. British-born Asanda, whose parents moved to the UK from the Eastern Cape more than 10 years ago, sang her idol Beyoncé’s If I Were a Boy during the series finale on Saturday night. But it wasn’t enough to take the title and the R3.5 million prize. Hungarian shadow theatre group Attraction won the show with their tribute to Great Britain. Although Asanda had the least percentage of public votes in the finale, 1.2 percent, it is possible she secured a record deal with the help of Cowell, who said she had the “best smil a tweet from an account claiming to be Asanda’s. Cowell had said of her singing: “Forget how old you are, if you’ve got it, you’v someone who’s 30 or 40.” Some of Asanda’s South African fans showed their support on her Facebook p likes. “A star in the making, Mr Mandela would be proud,” one user wrote. Asanda was commended by judges throughout the series for her commanding personality. She said in an ITV interview that she wanted to teach the queen teach me her posh accent. http://www.iol.co.za/the-star/bgt-s-asanda-may-get-record-deal-1.1530071 Below is Asanda:s.performanve at the BGT FINALS!!! ogugua88: 5. Don't post pornographic or disgusting pictures or videos on any section of Nairaland. Is that ponographic or disgusting pics in your view? Well my bad. You are free to remove them then "madam". |
ogugua88: That's not exactly true. If a fetus has everything a human being has, then it should be able to survive and thrive on its own. There's a reason why abortions are legal until late-term (varying on the state or country). Late-term abortions are illegal because fetuses have a higher chance at surviving.Gruesome details do not solve anything but helps people make better decissions knowing all the facts. Ofcourse it will be tough eradicate abortions but the use of abortions must not replace proper familly planning and pregnency prevention. I am very sure that very few individuals who have done the procedure had all the facts and understanding of what really is happening. Becouse they told " the say story that foetus are not human without being given all the information to make up their minds. Thats all I am saying. |
ogugua88: Because from personal experience, I've noticed that they push this agenda the most and they tend toWhat then constitute a human being? As the foetus has everything that a human being has unlike a seed. To me a seed would be a sperm and an egg or at worst an ambryo not a fully developed foetus with all the organs, limbs, brain and soul. I do not agree with your comparison here. Abstinence is not really a reliable prevention technique hence I have not mentioned it as a fruitful option. And ofcourse what an individual decides to do is their own decision. Just creating awareness as many people do not have an idea of what happens in when one aborts. It is their right to be informed by revealing the gruesome details of the procedure and its up to each person to say whether the foetus is a human being or not. I am sorry to see that the picture of the foetus has been removed becouse it settles the argument of whether a foetus is a human being or not. And how are people suppose to make informed decisions when information is taken from them?. . The picture below is of a baby carried to term and delivered. Compare that foetus to this baby and tell me why that foetus would not be called a human when this baby is? Knowladge is power! When people know better they make more informed decisions. |
ogugua88: Ending abortions isn't about making legislature and rendering abortions illegal. Abortions are from unwanted pregnancies, which are a result of unsafe sex or failed contraception (rare). It's similar to what I said in a health thread some months back. In order to solve this problem, the root of the problem must be found and tackled. Why do people keep attacking Christianity when the op the topic has not put foward any Christian or biblical arguments to the abortion discussions? The only point of focus here is whether this is humane or not? Is it murder or not. Period. And as indicated before the reasons are always valid and understandable. But what basically is the issues here is we need to stop substituting pregnancy prevention or even including abortion as part of family planning. Rather use it in extreme circumstances and that will het people to take more responsibility of their prevention methods. |
We all love to run our mouths and fingers over what is right and what is wrong and also act like we are saints and know how to please God but y'all keep forgetting that not everyone is Christian show are you gonna use the Bible to justify whatever? Now to those Christians who are calling abortion murder, I hope you have not used any form of birth control before cos if you have, you are in the same basket with someone who committed abortion......
The intention of the thread is not to point fingers and judge but to create awareness of exactly what goes on when one undergoes the procedure becouse very few people really understand what is involved. If you wanna attack, judge and curse those you deem to be Christians well its your right but killing an innocent fully development foetus in a merciless manner is cruel and that is not Christianity talking but Humanity. |
abeg let this man be at peace, let him go and join his ancestors and be at peace. He has achieved greatly and fulfilled his life purpose. Someone wrote: we wish you long life which long life again? shey na until he turn to vegetable, cant walk, cant see, cant hear, cant pi$$ or Sh!.t by himself
What are you suggesting, that we kill him? Mercy killing? Or that we punish him by not taking him to the hospital when he is sick just becouse he is old? You people just like to talk rubbish. You make it sound like we are holding his breath in machines. The old man still breaths on his own. You should mind your business. We do wish him a long if God has not said its the end of the road. I can see it pains you to see the old man still going. Go hug a live wire, asseblief tog. |

Les: And If I should add to d above, in China where couples are banned from having more than one child, does dat means dont have sex again and even get pregnant?? No, they do get pregnant after there first child , they will only end up aborting it. Yes, they have the money and can takia of d baby but they still end up aborting it because of law.In china married couples are allowed to have more than one kid but have to pay a fine to show that they can afford to have a second child. |
Unreliable and doesnt prevent stds. Cds are still the best for stds
Na wa o, you use it together with "jimmy's jacket. How are you preventing stds now? |
One has to just look at the way the foetus is desecrated in the pic that shows the procedure to know that this is not right and could never be right. Imagine the foetus is never killed by pills or injection before it is ripped apart piece by piece. Arm, leg, lower abdoman until its head. True talk guys have to help prevent unwanted and unplanned pregnencies and stop blaming women. |
sheyie2007: He he.. Sweetcheeks! you've killed him abiForgot to mention that toddlers are not allowed. Go play outside jare! |
..corrrecton: ..black women cannnot never be truuusted coz all they do is trap men...they tink u have moiney and they will trap u... White women dont act like that!!
I said you be the one to take charge of the prevention methods. That could include "jimmy's jacket" and withdrawal techniques etc. These are your responsibility. |
....OP...so does it mean women can now trap men wit pregnancy??
No, it means men can take more charge in prevention methods. And Avoid this.
It is uncomfortable for them
That is exactly where the problem is. We need to learn to talk about these things becouse the solutions lies with us. Africans only have se* but do not talk about it and the results that comes out of it. 1. Problem no 1 |
Cusubaba: Hahahaha.... Hiv/Aids dey worry u but deal with it because it's incurable. Don't forget to take ur drugs. Village Bitch. You are a joke! |
Am supprised that ladies are not getting involve in this topic. Thats an indication of something far serious than we thought. My point is abortion should not be used as substitute or part of family planning. |
I dunno. It sounds good on paper but is complicated in reality not to mention the gray areas. People really have to take full responsibility for this and the option should still exist... for those who really need it. It should be done more strictly with a lot of counselling and case by case studies done for repeat abortionists to fully understand why they keep getting pregnant and aborting. They do this in the UK.
Thanks great suggestion and more practical. And am with you 100% there, becouse the biggest challenge is the rate and the carelessness it encourages. |
I agree. But there is a bigger issue at play here. It isnt about abortion. If abortion was made illegal the population rate would skyrocket and we would be having a real population crisis. What we need to do is focus on the sex ed, etc. Also bear in mind rising stds HIV etc because of current lack of proper use of safe sex methods and promiscuity. So the issue isnt with abortion. Abortion is a byproduct of the issue.
True as you have seen I counted all these as answers but my issue is dealing with decisions made are the real problem. People need to adopt a responsible life style. You choose to have se** you know a, b, & c might happen and have to be responsible gor your action. Abortion gives people reason to be carefree. FOR AN AXAMPLE, Imagine if HIV/AIDS being something you could get rid of by killing someone else, murder would increase and the brave would be careless bcoz they have an option to bypass the current problem. |
bennyraz: I understand the discussion right from the very onset! and I'm not misunderstanding anything.. foster care in NigeriaAll arguements said and done, this is inhumane and one can say they have never killed a human being before if they have aborted. I also think becouse people are not shown the reallity of the act, like being given the foetus to bury or see after abortion for visual impact makes it easier to do the same act again. They become de-attached coz they did not see exactly what was killed and disposed off. My take! |
