Just creating awareness as many people do not have an idea of what happens in when one aborts. It is their right to be informed by revealing the gruesome details of the procedure and its up to each person to say whether the foetus is a human being or not.

I am sorry to see that the picture of the foetus has been removed becouse it settles the argument of whether a foetus is a human being or not. And how are people suppose to make informed decisions when information is taken from them?. .

The picture below is of a baby carried to term and delivered. Compare that foetus to this baby and tell me why that foetus would not be called a human when this baby is?

Chinedu has been making headlines in kenya for all the wrong reasons for many years.-all drug related cases,family,business,but he always went scot free because of protection-the cartel is just something else.
I remember watching him laugh sacarstically,walking with swagger like he owns the world and being boastful everytime he made headlines.The cops then seemed afraid to touch him and his criminal cases were never closed.
BUT things have gone bad because of a change of goverment and those who used to find protection under the former powers are being exposed and deported,not only nigerians but all illegal fellows doing crime.
The Judiciary is now reformed and it's not easy to bribe judges like before.
This guy was in a cartel and I believe they played bad. .not long before chinedu, another was arrested in coastal kenya for drugs and fake currency.They often get arrested,post bail and resume business but it's tougher now.
The source of his wealth is very questionable and I suspect the dealings he had with his wife 'Akinyi'-We parted ways with Chinedu when l refused to be his drug courier.
No need labelling all nigerians bad cz I know a few who earn a genuine living but you hardly see them making headlines-they prefer a low profile.
Whatever the case,he is healthy and alive.Better free in your country than languishing in cell in a foreign one.

Revealing gruesome details doesn't solve anything either. If you're anti-abortion, then you should be anti-what-leads-to-abortion, and that's unwanted pregnancies via molestation, unsafe sex, or failed contraception. If you think gruesome details will work, then you should take a look at what's happening in the United States. It's a disgusting argument and reduces women's rights. As a woman, that's not the kind of situation in which I'd like to find myself. I'd like to make a decision because it was my call and not because someone swayed me.
For those whom will be swayed, they will either carry a child they're not ready to have, carry a child and luckily grow a stable family, or mental issues will burden the mother, which could lead to miscarriage, aka spontaneous abortion.

I hope in the midst of all this that one considers the mother. I know in certain arguments in the US, it's as if the mother isn't considered at all. I don't find a developing embryo or fetus more important than its mother. A healthy mother, in terms of physical, emotional, and mental health, is the best host for a developing being. Too many times do women who aren't healthy or prepared give birth, and they can't provide for their children. To me, that's unfair fate for that born child. I know there's no such thing as an ideal situation, but I think we should be striving towards babies being born in ideal
environments. Eradicating abortions does little to enhance that

Gruesome details do not solve anything but helps people make better decissions knowing all the facts. Ofcourse it will be tough eradicate abortions but the use of abortions must not replace proper familly planning and pregnency prevention. ogugua88: Ending abortions isn't about making legislature and rendering abortions illegal. Abortions are from unwanted pregnancies, which are a result of unsafe sex or failed contraception (rare). It's similar to what I said in a health thread some months back. In order to solve this problem, the root of the problem must be found and tackled.

I hate discussing this abortion issue because people keep dodging the actual argument. Every pro-lifer radical I've encountered has given me a biblical rant. That doesn't pertain to me. When you're ready to discuss safe sex options and preventative measures, then I'm interested. It's no surprise that the most religious parts of the world have the highest sex crimes, even in the US. Health education is the way forward. Abolishing abortions will solve absolutely nothing.

Why do people keep attacking Christianity when the op the topic has not put foward any Christian or biblical arguments to the abortion discussions? The only point of focus here is whether this is humane or not? Is it murder or not. Period.

And as indicated before the reasons are always valid and understandable. But what basically is the issues here is we need to stop substituting pregnancy prevention or even including abortion as part of family planning. Rather use it in extreme circumstances and that will het people to take more responsibility of their prevention methods.
