PointB:What excuses do they need? This man was on elected on the premise and promise that his government will change the fortunes of Nigeria as quick as possible. It is six months now and he still has no clue on how to go about even the most basic issues. The old man has only three years left, the end of his government starts in december 2018 because by then, public opinion about his admistration has already been formed and he all attention and a He has less than three years left and he is yet to make any meaningful impact and I doubt he will any impact next year. His supporters should bow their heads in shame. |
Lest I forget his penchant of washing our dirty linen in public. E.g Telling the world that Nigeria cannot pay the salaries of ministers because the country is broke. PointB:Lets just say its done, before they call us unnecessarily angry wailers. |
nobeku:Lol. Look who's telling me to get an education? Since you claim its not a policy, tell me how it was implemented without any ratification to the constitution? |
I feel like crying. |
Lol. You were all warned |
ewuoso:Let me tell you the truth. Affiliate marketing is difficult. You may barely make a dime if you want to use to blog to promote affiliate offers. First of all, your blog gets mostly nigerian traffic and you're promoting products that are a bit alien to the Nigerian market. Also, I don't even know what the niche of your blog is. Invest some money and promote affiliate offers in a manner that won't waste your time and energy. I hope i'm not killing your morale. |
Mynd44:- TSA was a policy of GEJ’s administration. - The adoption of zero-based budgeting is still a plan of the government, it is not yet adopted. The government might jettison the idea if it wishes. Loan renegotiation -I don’t have any idea about this, perhaps you can provide a link to a source. They also include raising power generation to 4,500MWThis “achievement” was very temporary. Power generation at present is not 4500 MW. On overhauling NNPC, I dont think this is an achievement. Are there any new policies, laws and regulations that will guide the NNPC? What are they? As far as I’m concerned, the NNPC is still an inefficient and excessively bureaucratic public corporation. And this so called overhauling will have no long lasting effect if the laws guiding the industry are stil Re-awakening of the anti-graft bodiesHow? How many corrupt politicians or societal bigwigs have been prosecuted for corrupt practices since Buhari became president? Name one? And why will a president who boasts of being anti-corruption czar appoint people who have been publicly accused of engaging in corrupt practices A redirection of Nigeria's taxing policyThis is vague. What do you mean by this? Adoption of the Ogoniland clean up report- Adoption of a report just for the sake of it is not an achievement. Has the cleanup project been executed and commissioned? And most importantly, Kicking out the past administration and their corrupt practices |
Why the emphasis on the "rich yoruba man"? |
As far as federal administration is concerned, this year has ended. I don't see anything else this government can put in place this year that could create a positive effect in the short term. Portfolios are yet to be handed to the recently confirmed ministers and rumors have it that the ministers will likely get their portfolios next week. We have eight weeks left in 2015 and a federal executive council or a cabinet has not yet been instituted. That notwithstanding, I must admit that I'm honestly not expecting the ministers to give any policy directive this year. They will have to take about 1 month to fully understand and appraise the current state of their respective ministries, develop ideas, policies and plans for their respective ministries. Coupled with the fact there's no budget in place and this government plans to commence a zero-based budgetary system that is time consuming and new to the system, it may take longer for Nigerians to start witnessing any positive change. Now the big question to everyone is - What has Buhari's government achieved this year? And I mean concrete achievements that were initiated by this government not projects or programs that were carried over from the previous government. Has Buhari set out any economic policy to attract investors to the economy? Has Buhari awarded any contract to develop an infrastructure project anywhere in the country? What has Buhari done to curb the rising unemployment rates? What has Buhari done to fight corruption (Aside the usual empty rhetoric)? What has Buhari done to improve the state of our ailing economy? What has Buhari done to improve security? What has Buhari done to ameliorate the sufferings of the poor who are the most vulnerable to our current economic situation? And please I don't want the usual excuses of "Six months is not enough to appraise his government" and "he's battling with the rot he was left with from GEJ" The floor is open. . . cc@ lalasticlala, seun, |

I have never seen so much ugliness in a beauty pageant in my life! |
No company in Africa has paid even up to a billion dollars in corporate fines. It won't start with MTN. At the end of the day, they won't even pay up to a quarter of that amount. Na naija we dey. |
At every salient opportunity I get. ![]() Sometimes I feel there is something demonic about my Nigerian passport. I believe if I set my nigerian passport on fire, it may turn to a snake or some other evil creature. ![]() |
This is actually the largest corporate fine ever slammed on a company in Africa. I believe the NCC will slash the fines by 2 billion dollars or more in the end. |
For the umpteenth time, Obasanjo is not on twitter. He has said so himself. |
Idiots! They couldn't ask the useless Amaechi a single question while he was being screened, in fact, I saw some of them shaking Amaechi as he was leaving. Now they're prostesting. Make we hear word jare! The screening and confirmation of Amaechi and some other ministers made me lose respect for every single Nigerian politician. |
How come I don't see this bonding during elections? ![]() |
The shame is on our useless president and his useless party. |
MTN should follow suit. Pay your 1 trillion naira fine MTN! |
Wetin dey worry you? ![]() You took a picture of a hardworking laborer beside a Lord's chosen member and called it an "accident involving 2 containers". If I slap you ehn? ![]() |
We have a useless president. |
This gave me an erectio_n |
mandhi:Your opinion is duly noted. |
Presidents of two useless countries. They're probably speaking and making jest of how fooolish their citizens are. |
The signs are all there for everyone to see. 1. It took him five months to setup a cabinet that is made up of his party loyalists and campaign sponsors. 2. He doesn’t seem bothered about the dilapidated state of our economy and the rising levels of insecurity. He rather prefers gallivanting all over the globe, searching for his old classmates and lost friends. 3. The anti-democratic methods and flagrant abuse of power by his party is bound to cause a political crisis in the nearest future. 4. He does not have a crisis management strategy. Numerous labor unions may embark nationwide protests very soon e.g. ASUU, NLC, and NUPENG etc. I’m afraid that he (being a dictator) may not know how to handle such situations and events which may lead to a prolonged crisis. 5. His favoritism and nepotism towards his northern brethren will further divide the country along ethnic lines. 6. Nigerian’s may witness the longest run of economic depression under this administration. With the price of Brent Crude at record lows, there will be lesser funds for this administration to expend on the economy and its programs. The exchange rate and CBN’s punitive exchange rate policies may not change anytime soon, thereby leaving the economic in a perpetual shock. So Nigerians, buckle up and prepare for what may be the worst four years you may ever see of any administration. |
This man called Muhammadu Buhari is an absolute fooool. Nigeria is in shambles and all he's doing is travel to irrelevant countries to meet old friends who don't care about Nigeria. Fucck this bastard! ![]() |
