emmieachichi:
Bonjour everyone and sorry to bring dis up again, am sure by now most of us have done d needful (applied). To TMG2015 its nice to have a good healthy debate which is why am coming back to u again. Since you are of the skool of tot dat applicants can use nysc call up number or letter in place of nysc certificate number or in ur words they mean the same thing during recruitment process, I want to ask u, one thing I have learnt over time during my unemployment experience is following instructions and don't assume u know. Why do you think hiring organizations especially HR personnel always ask for ur credentials, nysc certificate or exemption certification and not ur nysc call up number or letter?(trust me they know both means ur identity in nysc database) Now let's come to naija government recruitments, who are always looking for a way to screen out thousands of applications based on wrong information, most government recruitment screening process begins with the random computer selection which is done through a pre-determined computer instructions or an algorithm that select candidates they are looking for, case examples are NDLEA and customs, when thousands applied, their spokesmen said at the time that people with mass com applied for account officer, engineers applied for lab science, ages, height, weights etc, were used to screen people out, now let's come to NNPC, they spend good money on their IT. departments, wen NNPC start recruiting most serving corpers applied using their call up number in place of nysc certificate number, most didn't make it to Cbt or interview stage because the computer has been program wit an algorithm to screen out such candidates without nysc certificate number. Mind u they government knows that it's ur unique ID during ur mandatory service and it means the same thing in terms of information concerning ur service but they ask for nysc certificate number, hence listening to instruction. Now let's come to almighty formula aka inec dat screened out imo and bayelsa state governors based on wrong documentation, they are now asking applicants to submit nysc certificate number and even put an example 'A' in the box so that u will have a clue as to what they want, yet u still insist it means nysc call up number or letter or they mean the same thing, most applicants fail because they don't follow instructions, another example, DPR said applicants should write their surname first when writing their names on the form provided, trust naija all names na names, the computer has been programed to send mail invitations alphabetically to names (surnames) selected. So my questions is that are u still of the opinion that nysc certificate number is the same as nysc call up number or letter in terms of job requirements or recruitment after pointing out the obvioushuh And one thing u should know is that when hiring organizations(BAT, Banks) or government recruitment(army, navy, paramilitary) ask for specific information like nysc discharge numbers(do u think nysc discharge number is the same as call up number) during mass recruitment, and thousands will apply, computer algorithm are used to screen out little mistakes like the one I just mentioned above, before man know man stage begins. Ur words will mean a lot as information is power because am still trying to understand why u keep insisting it the same in terms of recruitment but u don't get to use it after service??.?
But man, you totally did not understand what he was saying. He stated it clearly that they are different. You can go back to his post and read again. What he was rather saying was that, call up number is thesame as NYSC number and it is different from NYSC Certificate number which is your certificate seriel number. Hope you understand his argument now. Now, back to you on the area of following instructions, Inec instruction is NYSC number and not NYSC Certificate number cos in your write up, you stressed on certificate number. Secondary I don't think Inec will use or set their computer system to screen out prospective job seekers based on NYSC number because there are some applicants that have not been given both the NYSC number or the call up number, and Inec allowed them to apply. And that is what TMG was trying to say, infact, he was trying to give hope to those with NYSC issues.

If yes, pls, upload the video here so that the whole world will know he is what you claim he is, but if no, pls, go and get all Aristotle books on humanbeing being a rational animal because you are definitely an irrational species

I used to respect Jonathan until I've learned that the man is a dunce, he's not worth supporting.
You learnt that he is a dunce? From where do you learn it? Is it at school or from the social medias or from APC media houses. My dear common common sense is not found in any of the above. It is from within you and you alone. Look deep, be rational as Aristotle said and then ask yourself questions, that way you will be a reasonable person. Gej may not be perfect, but he is too innocent for any rational man to see and above all such a gentle man. All this write ups are dubious to tarnish his image. For crying out loud the writer is a human just like you. If he is guilty the court will come for him till then he remain innocent of all accusations.

I am the defender of the humble persons. I hate when people take the gentility and humility of a person for granted. Jonathan is too humble and gentle to the extent some nitwits don't respect him, things they will never try with the current regime

To all those talking about nysc recruitment, I think its noteworthy to undersrand that the aforementioned organization is not recruiting, but what it seeks to do is to create a pool for unemployed graduates who have served, available vacancies known to them would be updated on the site and interested candidates (who have earlier filled in their details on this page) can apply. BUT unlike the conventional method of filling in your details for each job, all the candidate needs do is upload his/her details on the job website. I hope this helps and this is subject to constructive criticism.
I ve this thought the very first day I registered. I concur with you. I think they are just trying to save details of NYSC candidates that ve served for ease of applying for a vacancy when advertised. I advise every served or exempted NYSC members to registered and leave it that way. I think it's legit and not fake. I also think they are not employing at the moment, but when a vacancy is advertise you can just apply without any need of filling the form again
