It is this indesciple and high degree of irresponsibility that is transfered from the likes of Amaechi, the Oshiomholes etc. who do not know what is referred to as senior and respect. Rubbish children. I guess that's why all the Bayelsan PDP bigwigs have decamped. In fact any SS person that moves against GEJ is irresponsible and a betrayer. |

In your bigoted view , you castigated the SE and then emphasized that "his people" i.e the SS have moved on.
Lame duck lady , be real for once. And speaking of SS, how many SS people do you see still crying and being over emotional about GEJ's loss? Many may not have warmed up to Buhari yet but they are just doing siddon look now while getting on with their personal lives. So please give us a break ok? In life you have to defend your pride, advertise your product or self because no one else is going to do it for you.Even when there's no hope, just keep believing. I just feel sorry for the Oronians because they have no voice.I took time out my schedule to fight for my father land even though I could simply ignore it and move on with my life.I take the injustice personal. I didn't find your write up hilarious my dear bro. I just laughed at the way you silenced the oversabi boy. Oron will get there my dear. Just lil more patience and faith |

MizMyColi: Have you heard that Katsina state as a whole had no university until GEJ came to build one for them? Is it the whole of Otuoke that is suffering from water shortage or just a clan? Unlike the northerners who have general shortage of water. Have you evr heard that Buhari ever so much as dug a hole, how much more a borehole? Does Bayelsa state have a university or not?

What has Buhari contributed to his hometown? How has he helped his people get better in terms of mental emancipation? Does any of his kids school in the country?
Apart from the anti-corruption stance, which is highly debatable... What other policies did he install? Is it still news to you that Buhari was deemed a failed administrator in the 1980s?
Lol. Most of ll these universities GEJ built were just avenues to steal money. Most are not even nearing half way completed! My dear. Issorite ok? You love GEJ because he said you Igbos are his backbone. Fine. Clap for yourselves. But always have it at the back of your minds that his own people have since moved on and even decamped while you remain here offering yourselves as Abobakus. Well done. |

Speaking of which.... What visible developments has occurred in Buhari's hometown of Daura, during and after his tenure in government? What act of philanthropy can be attributed to him? Really? Ok sha, he may not have done much for his hometown, but he left solid legacies in Nigeria. He will forever be known as the most intolerant to corruption in Nigeria. I have not heard about Daura not having water though. |

Sowell26: What right do you have to tell an Oronian what his/her nation should be called?
Oron (an anglicized version of Oro just as Japan is an anglicized version of Nippon) is a picturesque and semi hilly coastal city-state nation which has existed for over 2000yrs,and is currently part of the colonial disaster known as Nigeria. Oron territory is twice larger than Singapore and 18 other nations in the world.(Oron wooden and bronze artifacts, folklore and relics are believed to be some of the oldest surviving and most beautiful artifacts in sub saharan Africa - Some ,especially the best looking ones can be found generating revenue at Philadelphia museum,Boston museum and London museum . Citizens or people from Oron are Oronians and their language is simply Oro or Oronian, just as Japanese or Singaporean are both acronyms and languages .The Oronian population is estimated at 1.1 million. Oron is bordered by Cameroon ,Atlantic ocean and their linguistic neighbors (Efiks,Ibibio , Eket, Annang).Oron's closest ally since ancient times, has always been the Efiks.Oron nation is one of the wealthiest nations in the world if it were autonomous. Apart from crude oil,Oron territory is blessed with 75 % of all the numerous resources found in the Cross river /akwa ibom region- Natural gas,Rubber,Iron, Glass Silica,Limestone,Lead,Seafood,Timber. Oronians themselves are blessed with goodlooks, strength and intelligence. Oron's color has always been "Red" due to their brave and Aggressive demeanor. Oron along with other city-state nations and a few bi or thri city-state nations were merged against their will by the British imperialist (Ref. scramble for Africa)to form a third world shithole experiment which continues and by all indications will continue to be a failed state until justice prevails.Oron's territory in the current scheme of colonial mergers are the districts or local government areas :Oron including it's islands such as Parrot island and a few nameless uninhabited islands,Okobo,Mbo including Tom Shot Island,Bakassi,Urue Offong/Oruko and Udung Uko ( Ibeno is part of the larger Oron family and will be accepted,if willing ). Oron territory has a potential for future expansion by ocean and river land reclamation. The Akwa Ibom airport is located in Oron (Okobo) and will be refurbished and renamed Oron international airport, once Oron leaves Akwa Ibom. Oron seaport will be built at James town AKA Ibaka . An Observation Tower similar to Seattle space needle or CN tower will be built close to the seaport area (likely to be the tallest structure in Africa). The entire Oron will be built in grid system . You can not live, work or school in Oron without an id in the database or work permit. Below are a few private and joint ventures which are currently in the planing stage for Oron and will materialize within the next 2 to 6 years . 1. Oron times (Online news and printed newspaper) this is easy and will be up by end of 2015. 2.) A TV station (TVO. with subsidiaries such as TVO News,TVO Sports,TVO Comedy &kids,TVO documentary & movies. 3.) Bakery . 4. University of Oron (joint venture) 5.Oron museum to be rebuilt into modern edifice.(joint venture) 6.Upscale golf Housing development on Parrot island 7.Glass and ceramics manufacturing company 8. Clothing /umbrella/rain jackets and rubber products manufacturing company.
Below are the Oronian and Nigerian Flags.Oron will continue being a part of Nigeria for as long as the failed state exist. For now,OOron's main priority is to leave akwa ibom and get a new state. Ma gee! How are you bro? |

MizMyColi: No swerree, don't disgrace Saint Buhari more by speaking like a naivete. Jona is supposed to be everywhere at a time, right? The fact remains that he did what he could to salvage the corruption situation. The footprints are there for all to see. We await change according to Buhari's body language to do things differently.
That's rich coming from you. |

MizMyColi: Let's assume all you say is true. What is Buhari waiting for? Why hasn't he recovered these monies? What steps has he taken? All we see are probes hullabaloo and media shenanigans on who will be probed and those who destroyed the economy. And to think that Shehu Garba has come out to say ''Nobody is Under Probe Even Dr. Jonathan'' leaves much to be desired as to what this admin has been doing the past 90 days or thereabout
Btw, hear Okonjo-Iweala
On the missing subsidy funds, hear Jonathan himself
On the Missing Pensions Fund...I'll have to remind you that it was an alleged case. Hear Okonjo Iweala.
Having postulated these above, I have always held the position that, unlike you, Buharists, I do not believe that GEJ is a saint who is incapable of doing wrongs and mistakes. However, I celebrate him and all that he represents to the Nigerian Democracy and Dream. A feat your Saint Buhari is yet to achieve, but is rather consolidating on while preaching change. Talk of double speaking and bare faced hypocrisy!
My dear. All these things you've said just proves how weak Jonathan is. Always shifting blames instead of taking responsibility. So money could get missing and transferred under his nose? Just imagine! Why didn't he put enough stiff policies in place to prevent this? Nne biko, don't disgrace your dear Jonathan further by posting more stuff here. Ok? |

francizy: Oga, wat happened to the $2.8billion that disappeared under Buhari's watch as NNPC chair during OBJ's regime? That 2.8billion will surpase whatever amount that was lost in the whole of Jonathan's tenure, judging by how much inflation must have pushed that value up for almost 40 years now.
Why did Buhari transfer monies illegally into the military account (Abacha's loot facilitator) under Abacha's regime and he still didn't have the slightest shame for saying that Abacha didn't steal any money??
Your saint Buhari is one of the most corrupt human being to have ever lead this country and still holds the record for the most autocratic (tyranny of the highest order).
So Jonathan is a leaner where he is. Buhari was the NNPC chairman NOT the president. There is a limit to what he could have done to fight corruption under a military regime that isn't his! To properly and fairly judge him, how much got missing under his own regime? |

nigerianvenom: Its "oro nation".oron is just a town I.e An LGA and nothing more.oro includes all five LGA that makes u the nation called "oro ". Just like saying" eket nation",nothing of such exist cos eket is just an LGA but when referring to a nation which include the four LGA that makes up that nation, then u call it "ekid nation" or so. Nothing like oron nation.
Then again, people are mostly referred to by their language, example a man from england can be referred to as "English",same goes to oron ,mbo, okobo, urue ofong which aswell can be referred to as an "oro man" Since you know so much why did you ask me question? You saw where I clearly stated that the language is called oro and the geographical location is called Oron. That's what's important and yes the two acronyms can swing both ways. The same way you'd say Nigerian nation. But Nigeria is not a language is it? Gerrit? |

I could also imagine the enthusiasm in your face the day you stepped your foot in NYSC camp. OP allow the youngies too to enjoy the scheme like you have done. That yours wasnt useful doesnt mean others will be the same
To me, NYSC took me away from Mummy's care while giving me something to hold on while hunting for job.
During NYSC i had more time i never had in school to learn different skills in preparation for the labour market.
During NYSC, i learnt yoruba language (yes under one year). I understand and speak to a good extent and it goes a long way in building trust and integration with my yoruba brothers
It also made me meet lots of friends who were helpful even after service. I be like "Segun abeg i get interview for lag o". Segun be like "offspec dey come my house naa. My house dey free". And that was a friend i met during my NYSC.
OP advice you should give people is they should try make their service year useful to them and also making good friends. Lastly, NYSC also improved my confidence as well as my public speaking skills cos i was a "tisha" for one secondary sch and this is very essential for a job hunter |

iamrealdeji: Nope,Otedola's father was a governor and was very rich,so he became rich with the influence of his father. And I wasn't talking about yoruba families,i was refering to those south south families you mentioned. Most of them are from rich family,Lucky Igbenedion's father is rich,my mum told me how he became wealthy as a kid,he was a taxi driver and brought back the daughter of a white man to the father and he asked him for what he wants and he said his daughter, automatically,he became rich and later set up Okada airlines. I don't know Ben Bruce' brothers,i don't know Donald Duke's brothers the same way you don't know the brothers of those yorubas you mentioned,i don't know Nkpebures family at all Correction taken. That's my point about SS families nau. They help themselves. It's more like family wealth and not individual wealth. And the Duke I mentioned there are not Donald Duke's family.
