iyabodeh: You can be mean jo!Naaa she ain't mean. Let the stinky slimy lil thing insult me one more time. I'd give her some Mean 101 lectures. |
cococandy: You're a funny babe you know?smh |
MissMeiya: You are very pained. I thought I didn't have a green card? And a fake accent? Now I'm, what? An arrogant little brat who only knows how to insult people?Even cococandy has tried to explain that I didn't in any place insult America here yet you are determined to believe what your own maggot-infested brians can assimilate? The daft-o-meter must be dangerously low now while measuring your daftness and ability to comprehend. Let me just assume you are purposely trying to piss me off. Honestly your daftness cannot be for real. |
cococandy: Ok I get it.But serious why did it take you so long to understand? Sweetlemon: You see ya life? I meant not relocating. That I haven't yet relocated doesn't mean I don't go there often. The bolded should have spelt that out pretty clearly. |
bukatyne: On the average, I think the Americans are more moral than Africans. Those that are Muslims are genuine Muslims; Those that are Christians are; etc. They do not do our typical mix and matchIf forget to add this point in my original post. |
MissMeiya: She doesn't live here at all. That's why none of it makes any sense. She pulled some bullshít out of her áss and tried to pass it off as an article.Madam Americanah. Create your own thread about America, let's see if it's interesting enough to get to front page or gather as many likes as mine. Arrogant lil brat that cannot comprehend simple English despite having the privilege of attending American schools (If it's true) All you can show for your many years there is an empty head that only contains how to insult people just because you were born abroad? How have you enlightened the rest of us (positively) about the outside world? Oniranu oshi! If I give you black eye for here ehn, you go run report me to the mods. omo yama yama. |
cococandy: FixedI used my sis as an example of someone who isn't actually based there but goes there like she lives there. The bottom line I made was that my sis visits more often than I do even though I have also visited often enough. O ga o! O ma se o! |
MissMeiya: You have a problem. Look at how worked up you are. Why are you angry at me? You started a very insulting thread, but you want to take offense because people called you out on your stúpid, factless ranting? Turn off your phone and go have a drink.Ranting? Me? My thread? Insulting? Werey ni eleyin sha o! *avoids her like a plague* |
MissMeiya: She hates America, but she's "there so often, she can say she lives there"Olodo rabata! Your case don pass me. I'm done with "A for apple, B for ball" explanations. |
israelbenzion: I guess u didn't know that Local Government Councils issue certificate of traditional marriage if you approach them for one. again, I'll bet u didn't know that a simple affidavit of marriage suffices for d same purpose as a marriage certificate. ask NYSC. I have personally called them on this issue before and they stated so. all theWe talking legal marriage here Mr. which is only acceptable for formal documents. |
adconline: Most guys would not shy away to sign a simple piece of paper and go home and enjoy their marital life, but is that going to be comfortable with most women? Signing a piece of paper without fun-fair? I doubt it.. the subtext of this heading should ve been " why do most men dread fancy white wedding after traditional wedding?Well if they are living with him without the "funfair" then they should be able to sign documents without funfair as well. It's that simple. |
cococandy: Ok. I've given it upYou see ya life? I meant not relocating. That I haven't yet relocated doesn't mean I don't go there often. My sis is married and lives here cos her hubby is based here but she goes there like 4 times a year cos she has more money to spend. So calculating all the time she has spent there will run into years that's enough for her, and even me to say that I live there. But I don't think that's necessary. I see so many people talking about their time there like they are bragging about it. Yet many don't even have green cards neither do they have American parents or something more solid. It's not just necessary ok? |
cococandy: Ok. I've given it upJust because I am not afraid of saying I was born an aje pako, just because I don't go on about my visits and time I spent there after life got better for my family (that's some 15 years back) doesn't mean I don't go there. I don't say what's not necessary ok? |
cococandy: I know you haven't.Give it up already will you?! Just because I am not afraid of saying I was born an aje pako, just because I don't go on about my visits and time I spent there after life got better for my family (that's some 15 years back) doesn't mean I don't go there. I don't say what's not necessary ok? smh |
MissMeiya: The OP is not even American. This is such bull and pointless, too. What is with the obsession with America? This has to be the funniest quote! And you are American just because you live there? I'm sure you don't even have a green card and I can virtually hear your fake accent now. hahahahahahaha |
cococandy: Madam analytical, that my post was in response to missmeiya's question "why the obsession with america lately"And what makes you think I haven't? Then again, like I have said, some foreigners know more about your own country than you do. It's all about studying. You guys should learn how not to jump to conclusions too easily. Trust me, it does you no good. |
50calibre: Looool now you're getting too vague, I could probably still take you up on that, but I will accept it as defence. What is this one feeling like? Does Seun pay me to sleep on NL? Pesin no fit sleep again ba? You that is talking where is your own link to prove the statistics you stated here? Most people posting links here are posting old statistics from individual states and not the whole of America. I will be back later with some links. I have work to do now. |
freecocoa: Anacksunamun: It's more amazing because it's coming from someone who hasn't been to USA before. How mind-boggling can it get?Can you tell us why you are so sure I have never been to the US? Talk about ignorant jumping to conclusions! I tried searching for why some people are so quick to conclude that I have never bn there and I felt maybe because I kept referring to American forum, blogs etc. Ok. So what should I have used to buttress my points? Should I have told people to go see for themselves? Is that possible? Is it everybody here that can just wake up and book a flight to America? Most of you need to learn how to be realistic. Even those of you that live there, when you start your own threads or make posts about the west don't you back hem up with links from western sites? So what's your beef with me referring to blogs and forums? Come to think of it you do not even need to live somewhere before knowing something about that place. You can learn about it and study the place. Do you you know some foreigners know more about Nigeria than many of us? FYI, reality TV, (not movies o) give a lot of insight about what the outside world is like. Most of the people claiming authority on American/western issues because they live there are the ones who go there and start developing fake accent just to show that they are now in obodo oyibo. They are the ones who look down on Nigerians back home. Both my parents are naturalized Americans and so even if I don't live there I have some privileges such as it will not be too difficult for me to relocate there. I just didn't see any point stating all these things in my write-up because you can learn about anywhere by studying through relevant mediums. |
@MissMeiya. Hey! Slow down. You just breeze into a thread just because you see "America" and start jumping to all kinds of conclusions. Where did you see me say that I have issues with America? The way you are going all defensive I no just understand o! I just stated some things about America that may surprise some people who think America is like a free country where nobody is answerable to anybody. Stuff like that, and you are going all ballistic? Wetin happen? MissMeiya: Oh. Well, America is not perfect, of course, but it gets annoying. Can't Nigerians hate on some other country that doesn't host and birth millions of their countrymen?Just imagine! Are you sure all is well? Where did I hate America in my write-up? cococandy:How did you come to this conclusion? I just wonder where some people leave their analytical skills. Do I need to start breaking things down into "A for apple" for people to be able to appreciate and and analyze a message? I just woender......... |
50calibre: Ok!! Percentage you say? Let me take you up on that. Please note I am talking about city women not rural ones. Most Nigerian city women (graduates) are working women (unless the involuntarily unemployed ones). If they don't have 9-5 jobs, then they do business. Besides, that, I think the figure you gave is higher than that. I am going to bed now, I cannot post any links for now. Someone should please help me out. |
traware: Just look at this imp who can't even construct a full sentence without spelling mistakes reply.Fool, have you ever been to America or experienced its various cultures before? If you haven't,how do you know all these about America? From blogs and reality tv yes?Better get down on your knees and continue using your money-maker to suck co.ckKeep assuming and jumping to conclusions if it makes you happy. Cheap crack addict Dic.khead! I won't be replying any more of your rubbish before you infect me with that slimy substance coming out from your skin, lest you transmit it through the internet. Ewww Cheers! |
CFCfan: I agree that men are more empowered economically than women in the US. That's why liberals introduced the Fair Pay Act in Congress.Lol! Trust me, the men will influence this one way or the other. Don't be surprised if she steps down few weeks or days to the primaries. |
CFCfan: They said the same thing 7 years ago that no Black man will ever become an American President....Even then they knew it will be much much easier for a black man to rule America than any kind of woman. A woman can only rule when the gender thing becomes more balanced. Trust me, there are many jobs that pay men more than women. Men rule the US. How many CEOs can you count from America? Compare them to their total number of working women then compare them to the CEOs in Nigeria and the total number of working women here. |
traware: If there ever was a dumbcu.nt,the OP must be the biggest dumbcu.nt of all.How can you form opinions about a people and their society from blogs and 'observation' via reality television?Without even spending a day/stepping foot in the country mentioned.Eh?Absolute hogwashIf there was any super dumb, jump-to-conclusion dic.khead then this moniker takes it. |
manny4life: Lol... Are you seriously joking? First female ke? Good luck... I like how fierce she is, but the U.S. Govt is male dominated, at least, the the right wingers would NEVER allow that.Lol! Thanks! leave them to keep dreaming. That CFCfan sha. the guy is too soft for my liking. He has this annoying optimism even in the face of strong reality. Not saying it's a crime to be optimistic and supportive of all but sha try and know when to call a spade a spade. |
seedord247: NEW YORK, April 6, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A new survey claims that over 70% of young teens in the US have lost their virginity by the age of 14.It is pertinent to note that some states/cities have higher risks and numbers of certain things than others. In the US, apart from some certain traditions, no two states are the same when it comes to their ways of life. |
50calibre: This is nonsense to say the least, it has as much credibility as a tissue paper. Only a fool fool will swallow this shi*t hook line and sinker. You of all people! Do you need me to download the oxford dictionary here so you can see the difference between percentage and actual number? |
itstpia1: seems you just cant wrap your head around that. The one and only tilapia1 of Nairaland! I hail o. |
EmoBoy: Let me me tell you a fact.Of course there is high level of immorality in US! Very high. But at the end of the day, their men still seek decent girls to marry. That's what I'm trying to say. How many 20 smth year old virgins can you count in Nigeria? But there are many of them in the US. Trust me. You find the baddest biitches and the most innocent angels in America. |
imoleay0: I think she's talking about the rate and not the actual number.Thanks. |
CFCfan: Lol. That law may be introduced in Naija very soonExactly! As in ehn! Many very pretty women have this life ambition of being rich men's wives or even mistresses. |
@Emoboy, seems like you don't know the difference between percentage and number. smh |
