I see so many people talking about their time there like they are bragging about it. Yet many don't even have green cards neither do they have American parents or something more solid.

Most of the people claiming authority on American/western issues because they live there are the ones who go there and start developing fake accent just to show that they are now in obodo oyibo. They are the ones who look down on Nigerians back home. Both my parents are naturalized Americans and so even if I don't live there I have some privileges such as it will not be too difficult for me to relocate there. I just didn't see any point stating all these things in my write-up because you can learn about anywhere by studying through relevant mediums.

According to the US census bureau, there are 5.2 million stay at home mums (as of 2013) out of about 85 million mums in the US. That gives you something in the region of 6%. Do you frankly think the percentage of Nigerian housewives is below 6%?

As for the virgin issue, how did you arrive at that? How would you even compare a liberal country like America to a deeply religious, conservative country like Nigeria, where in some cultures a woman's value is tied to her virginity?? I assume you're a resident of America, how is it you seem not to have a firm grasp on the facts pertaining to the country in which you reside?

Please note I am talking about city women not rural ones. Most Nigerian city women (graduates) are working women (unless the involuntarily unemployed ones). If they don't have 9-5 jobs, then they do business.

Loooool did the OP conduct a survey? Blogs & forums are not a credible statistical tool, first not everyone visits blogs or forums, (as a matter of fact, the majority don't) second, people write anything online, which may or may not be true representation of their real personalities.

America has a population of close to 350 million, which is far larger than the largest African country. So I see no basis for comparison here, it's only normal that America has the greater numbers in some of these things.
