Roger that amigo! But the thing is, folks wont want to use it on their own without me telling them to. I would have thought any visitor coming to the site would wanna try to work on some faces but no one seems to want to try! Is it too much stress for them? I even put a video tutorial to show 'em how to use it(poor kim kadashian-I really ruined her looks in that video!) but no response! There are sites like drwarp and face in a hole, and they do the same stuff-the difference is that they use flash or java applet but I decided to make mine with the html canvas and javascript so that our slow baudwidth would accomodate less javascript load compared to the heavier flash apps.
Hell,I even put an app that one could use to snap webcam shots to play with but no! Everyone justs looks and pass, why?!!

Thanks 4 ur input. I like the idea off intergrating it into facebook. I figure the picture will be posted to the wall of the user designing the face or do u mean the fanpage of the site-or both?

Yes I get where u are coming from but there are times when u want to talk 2 someone for some long time and u do not want to wait until 12:30am or spend a fortune to call. The idea is to make nigerian consumers talk more rather than text more on apps like 2go. As was mentioned in my above post u can talk for upto 14 hrs with 100 naira. Do u still think it impractical.

It will not be expensive as u imagine cos the voice will be send over the internet. Using compression algorithms,the voice message will not exceed 150 kilobytes.
This means that on most major networks u will b charged less than a naira to send or receive a message.
If u use a databundle plan u can use 100naira to get a 10mb plan and send voice messages worth 14hrs long! Which network allows u to talk for 14hrs with 100naira?

It seems like you will record ur voice with ur phone and send it to ur friend's inbox. When ur friend opens the inbox,the message can be played back.

You did a nice job. In my own opinion, I think your website won't gain a lot of traffic. If Nairaland is all about changing someone's face, do you think you will still be here. How many faces do you want to change in a day and at the end of the day what are you going to do with the face you have just change. Find a way to make it more interactive.

In a bid to make something different(and have some laughs!) , I created www.fazekook.tk
I have tried to expose the site to the public but it seems not many folks are interested in using it.
The site is all about taking people's faces and editting the face to make it look different or funny or akward or whatever. I have become bored with everone wanting to do a forum or social site,so I came up with this.
Does this mean that today's internet users are only interested in chatting on numerous forums? Am I forced to cage any out-of-the-box ideas and consign my fate to creating forums and social sites? Is there something wrong with d site or its concept?

Better still, make a blog or a facebook page and put up a gallery of some of the best works that you have done for other people. Offer your services on the blog/page. if you want, I can help you advertise the blog/page on a major marketing network for some days. You will then have a platform to work with people online rather than just posting in forums.

I never knew that there was a market for making logos in this country! I was surprised to see folks telling you what to design and giving you specifics on how it should look like! Your services are definitely worth paying for!

Tell your prospective clients to give you a sketch of what they want-They can scan it or snap a picture of it on mobile phone and mail it to u or something. Draw the sketch and mail them a copy-protection copy of the image you made eg. The picture could be in black and white or be blurred or be very small like 15x15 pixels or have text written allover it or something.

Now if they want the original image, then they talk price with you! So offer to design the logos for them free and give them the copy protected image. If they like it and want the original then let them talk price.

Don't sell your talents for people who want everything in life for free,but yet will expect other people to pay them for all of their services! You deserve to earn money for your handiwork! After-all, you are not stealing to make a living!

Well, to me this is more like asking:
"What is the difference between soccer and football?"
Depending on where the person answering is from(a common wealth/europe state or the US of A) you'll get different responses-In 9ja they are the same.
To a layman the words coding and programming are different due to their dictionary definition,but to us programmers,its like football and soccer in 9ja!
