Hi Mike! Welcome back to the thread! When you run your code, what was the error or problem that you encountered? |
Eh-eh! So everybody have gone to bed at 8.00 pm now eh? Oya make I follow go sleep! Will continue "tomorrow",or when somebody answers my question-which ever comes first! |
Has any body seen it? |
Now when you have done that you may be tempted to go to the Program Files and and go look for the Tool that you just installed. Go ahead, try. . . |
Now install the 6MB file you downloaded. You will see a screen that looks like the first picture below. It's a wizard of the Microsoft Direct Speech Development Tool. Follow the instructions you see on the wizard until you are done, You will see screens like the second picture below-Make sure that you have connected your MICROPHONE to the PC before you start O! You will be told that the Microsoft Direct Speech Development Tool has been successfully installed with a pop-up when you are done.

*Smoke steaming from my head-Still in vex mode* Okay, do I still sound like a Politician? Hold that thought-cos I ain't done yet, we've only just begun! ![]() |
Now to download the Microsoft Direct Speech Development Tool, click on the link below: http://activex.microsoft.com/activex/controls/agent2/actcnc.exe Take note, the size of the software is 6MB so make sure you have the internet connect for that size! |
You can get a hand mic or the head set mic from any local computer store for nothing more than 1K
|
Oya make we start! Tools Needed for Voice Control Application ------------------------------------------------------- Software Needed: 1. The good old Legacy VB for coding the application.(That's what we used in the last lesson) 2. Microsoft Direct Speech Development Tools (Now this is the stuff that does the magic!) Hardware Needed: A good microphone. The better the quality of the mic, the better the results we will get! |
Personally I hate politics and dislike many of those who involve themselves neck-deep in the vice, and now that you have compared me to one-I must redeem myself. . . |

cueniche I have only 1 word for you. . . QUALITY. You're welcome to the webmaster's forum. |
The Problems: ------------------- Well, where shall we start? Let’s begin with the fact that no matter where you live in the town, you have to pay transport money to come and get information. To stand a better chance of getting the job, you’ll have to submit your application early, and to do that you have to be aware of the freshest job offers so that you can apply at once! What if you went there and there was nothing new?!! Ah! A complete waste of money from a job that you don’t even have! So here we see the problem of transportation. What comes next on the list? Remember it was mentioned that every week job offers were put up. By whom? The job owners. How? By them coming to the Post Office. Again, we see the problem of transportation coming in to play for the job owners, such that no matter where the job was located in the town, a staff had to pay a visit to the Post Office just to deliver information. Can’t this be avoided? What else? Staleness. How many times have applicants applied for a job whose offer had long since expired, just because the notice did not put any deadline and the notice was still up? Imagine the disappointment of the applicants and the embarrassment of the job owners! These are the major problems of the current Post Office Vacancy Notification System in my area. We have looked at our environment for faulty systems with problems, we have identified one and now we have a Topic for our Final Year Computer Science Project! The topic: The Post Office Vacancy Notification System. Next we need to write a Project Proposal on this topic. That will be for tomorrow. . . |
^^^ Thanks men! Make I go find country wey I go rule! |
Maybe I will soon start a thread on that if I see more more interest on the topic. |
Hello liaslo++, Thanks! Google up 'mobile development with Netbeans' and I am sure you will see some good material. |
Report the Matter to ICPC and EFCC on their website. They will look into it, shortly. |
I tried accessing your website at 2:38am Jan 06, 2012. Now, but i could not open it. Maybe your server has gone to sleep. Oops! Google Chrome could not find www.easy2sell.net Did you mean: www.easy2sell.biz Additional suggestions: Access a cached copy of www.easy2sell.net Go to www.easy2sell.tv Search on Google:
Dear GoodMan, Does your server follow us to bed as well? I find that unbelievable. maybe you should post the working hours of your server so that visitors to your site will know that only between the hours of 7am - 10pm after the NTA network news is when they can visit it. Oh and also can it be visited on holidays. Also will the server go on strike on Monday? These are the things that we who want to put banners on your site should know. Oh and how will you know that my traffic is from Nigeria? I used to think they were until you lam blasted Dhtml that his were not ( And I know Dhtml is very web traffic conscious- he can tell if a human, a robot or even an alien from outer space has visited the site-Alexa Guru ) |
Hmm, I get around! ![]() |
How can you tell when a site targets local visitors? The owner of the site says it targets 95% Nigerians but some how , you know he don't! What criteria did you use to judge? |
Ohh! I see. So what you are providing is some kind of cheap alternative to advertising on fb or google? |
Yes my brother, it's not free, but what fb ads have that Google doesn't is its targeting marketing system. You can pick young people interested in the product or services that you want to buy, or you can target your wares to the older folk! You can even select audience base on relationship status or sex. With highly targeted marketing you can narrow down to the intended audience that you want that will be sure to patronize your service. Its affordable and it works. Anyway, so let's say I have a website that Nigerians visit, how do I help you? |
Okay, have you tried face book adverts too? I believe the reason you are doing this is so that you can get more visitors to your sites? Or is there any other motive you have besides that? Do make you intentions clear so that one can grasp what it is that you seek to do. . . |
Abeg, has any one been able to use the cards to purchase facebook and google adverts? |
Advertise on google ati facebook! |
Utibe, Utibe Mpo Abadie? |
Ah! So they are back! Wow!!! Why am I so happy about that? |
