A Problematic System: The Post Office Vacancy Notification System
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my town, the Post Office is still very useful, for something other than the obvious purpose of a post office, which is to send and receive mails and parcels. It is used by businesses and organizations in the town and its environs to show vacancy notices to the public. Every week, job owners go to the Post Office to pay for their job offers to be pasted on the notice board and everyday job seekers troop to the Post Office to read the Notice Board for information about the vacancies available.

Next we’ll take a look at the problems of this system. . .

You na correct man! grin
See rapid response to problem and solution found!

One man said Obama had to be 50% white to win the election and that no 100% percent black man would have won that election, especially the debate, where McCain was asking Obama questions that would have annoyed a regular black man. He said the 50% black man in Obama  wanted to tell McCain to "Shut the Hell Up!" but that was when the 50% white man in him told the 50% black man, "Go back! We are near the finish line, don't mess it up now!"

So that place you are living has given you a bit of 30% white man with which you run this programming board and every one can see the result! I believe it is that other 100 + 10% black man running this board that knows why the thread was locked! angry I did not mention names of anybody o, before they re-re-reban me! lipsrsealed

Thanks man!

Oga Fayimora and co
Happy new year.

The year may be new but the, old habits (banning, post deleting, thread deleting, etc) will continue to live on.
Pray, what crime have I committed in the thread :

https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-798635.0.html

that it has to be locked?

Can't the owner of a a thread be notified of an impending action to be taken by the mods before it is taken? Must we behave like our leaders who implement policies without prior warning? And yet we believe that we will make an impact when and if we rise to positions of leadership in ay field we find ourselves in the future?

So please tell me why was my thread locked? ! !

I want to us to learn how to control the device that we created in the last lesson, by voice control!
Yep!
Imagine saying to your computer "ON LIGHTS" or "FIRE UP" or "ANTI-NEPA" or some other command , and the PC puts on the device for you!
Pretty cool eh?
Right, stay tuned to this tread! Lesson Coming Soon!

We are Computer Scientists, and we Solve Real World Problems!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let’s imagine that we were actual real world problem solvers and we wanted to solve real world problems encountered either by us or other members of the society in a particular field, discipline or activity.
Now that we’ve imagined what we are, the next step is for us, the problem solvers to look for problems encountered in our society that can be solved by us!
I have one such problem that I encounter almost every other day and I intend to make an example of this problem to demonstrate how we can create project topics from everyday difficulties.
Note: Since we are computer scientists, it is assumed that the method of solving the problems we encounter would be to replace or enhance the existing mode of operation of the system, (It could be a banking system, record keeping system, examination recording system, etc) within which the problem exists, with a formidable and reliable computerized system. This will involve designing computer software to work and interact with the provided computer hardware, provided for the new computerized system.
Tomorrow, we shall take a look at a problematic system operating in my environment.

Yes and Yes.
It's the best way to open up your site to many people.
You could create a fan page as well to promote interaction with your site.
WebmastersRe: Stubborn Virus.how Do I Get Rid Of Them? by sweetpawn1: 11:26am On Dec 30, 2011
I am sure you installed your anti virus after your PC was attacked.
The best thing to do is, back up your data into a DVD and format your system. once formatted , re-install your OS and let the first software your install be your anti-virus.
Works like magic!
NB: Use only one Anti-Virus . I would prefer avira, download the latest updates and use.

Very interesting concept!
At first, with the way you presented the topic, it look a bit shady, I must confess, but now that you have thrown much more light on the matter, it certainly sounds like a great idea! smiley

Well I sure wished you marketed the site on facebook. There you will find many clients willing to pay 1000 or even less to pay for any job.

Good Luck!
WebmastersRe: How To Make N1000 Naira Everyday To your Bank Account by sweetpawn1: 9:27am On Dec 28, 2011
Hmm,
Are you saying that it is the people who want the jobs that pay the N1000, not the people who will do the jobs?
WebmastersRe: How To Make N1000 Naira Everyday To your Bank Account by sweetpawn1: 6:37am On Dec 28, 2011
@ Utibe,
Let's get some things straight! We are all grown-ups and we have to reason like so.
Before one gets into any business venture, one has to ask questions to know if the venture is worth the trouble.

Why must I pay 1000 to your very much unknow site for advertising my work when i can make a post here on nairaland or go to tradestable.com or dealfish who are advertising everywhere on google and facebook like crazy and are promoting their services for free?

Besides, even if I promote my skills on your site for 1000 Naira, what type of job offer will I get? I've been to the site. There's a part where people post what they want you to do for them. Here's a run down of what they wanted:

tolu247 wants:
help me withdraw money from my paypal to Liberty Reserve or Bank Account.

gloriouspath wants:
write a poem

newconcept wants:
get me 50000 valid phone nos in Nigeria for 1k

lovemate30 wants:
supply me with 10 e-novels of the topic of my choice

Famedoctor wants:
I will pay you 1k to show me how to get a cheap laptop in kaduna.

wiffy wants:
Supply me 50 followers on my blog!

Famedoctor wants:
Tell me where to get free domain and hosting

JideJ wants:
Make a Wiki page for me on Wikipedia.com

Salawudeentoye wants:
I want someone who will open a paypal account for me, thank u

johnsonudofia wants:
someone who can teach how to browse from on mtn line.

anajama wants:
teach me how to make money with my phone straight to my bank account

Chunleystic wants:
Someone who will teach me how to make money online

Olaitan wants:
Need a Mass emailer (send unlimited)

seunis wants:
Who wil buy my car!

Mjay4real wants:
Am looking for someone to configure my laptop for me

danedrol wants:
miniwebsite design

coolcash4live wants:
I need people to help me check my website error

Okoji wants:
I will pay you 1k to send traffic to my forum

ayila wants:
Show me how to make N2k daily online

Ltaiwo1 wants:
I want 2 create cheatz for mtn, airtel, etisalat and glo.

Now, I am expected to pay you N1000 for free so that I can show someone how to make N2000 daily? Or Check someone's website for error? Or to buy someone's car? Or to show some one how to make money online??!!??

And I can swear that more the 80% of the folks that posted are not willing to pay you anything at all for the so called services you can offer them!

So again, why must I pay you N1000 for this type of jobs? Will these jobs put food on my table? Why are the jobs all about cheating and hacking and stealing from other people, or making money free? And you say we should give Nigerian businesses a chance? By paying N1000 for all these crap jobs?

Please do explain.

Just wondering if i should call this one site or si? => code4me . tk NO OFFENCE lipsrsealed
None taken my dear! grin

It does pay the bills so well that I don't even have to think of slapping google ads on the site. So its i guess its a "si" that can do what most "sites" cannot do- be google-ad independent , self sustaining and spin money at the same time! So I care less what you call it-so long as it keeps me strolling to the bank! wink

By the way Chisom, I love what you did with your site-really. You had an idea, zero web designing skills and a drive to achieve what you wanted to achieve. You have done what many professional web maters dream of! Creating a Google ad rich revenue making site! I compare you to the guy who made www.bigfish.com, the dating site! he, like you was a regular guy with zero programming/webdesign skills, who had an idea and made it via the internet!

When I think of successful Nigerian web- entrepreneur that are potential self made millionaires, I think of you along with a few others. You are a success story that has to be told to inspire many who want to defy the odds and succeed in life!

MUCH RESPECT! cool

Funny!
If you guys want something to argue about, argue about how many pay checks that your sites have earned you!
Afterall, that's the point of reaching number one.
It avails one nothing if your rank is numero uno in the world and there's no cash to show for it undecided

Dear Paparazi3,

If you want to market a facebook page, try and make it look more professional so that when people see it, they would feel like buying it!
Take a look at this one I made: http://www.facebook.com/pages/BongKpo/194771017242099 and you'll see what I mean.

Goodluck to you!
