Happy Birthday Tiwa! |
Joshmodest:And so, you go to your ex girlfriend who you ran away from because she was not marriageable in the first place. You tell her “ baby, you’re the only wife I can marry now. I know you’ll make a pot of soup out of 200 Naira”. Then she comes in, kills you and inherits all your money. |
Of course they’ll bash Buhari. These are real Nigerians. They complain about everything. There is no president they have not complained about unless he did not live long enough to receive their insults. When the president comes in initially, they will praise him to high heavens, though he has achieved nothing. Jonathan was praised for having no shoes and a PhD. Buhari was praised for his body language. A few months later, Nigerians will start to sing a different tune. Then comes the next elections, and they will vote along the same lines. They vote based on how they feel and not on who actually has the ability to recognize the problems with Nigeria and execute the appropriate solutions. I’m still trying to figure out what they are praising Atiku for though. Perhaps, it is the case of them hating the incumbent. So, let’s try another person who can dole out some cash during his campaign. |
OgogoroFreak:Wow! But I think you should show other aspects of Lagos or Nigeria. We are more than the rowdiness of bus stops. We have places that are totally serene, beautiful ancient architecture... |
Elder0001:She is not partisan in anyway. She supports individuals based on their merit. I wonder why some Nigerians see Donald Trump through rose colored glasses? |
beamtopola:You need to read up about the person you’re insulting. She has too many accolades. She is true international recognition. She does not need Donald Trumps recognition to be the great success she already is. Don’t be quick with the insults. |
Mk17:Okay |
NgeneUkwenu:What kind of talk is this? I have siblings who have relocated. Does this make me less of a Nigerian? |
These pictures will make great post cards. They have a Nigerian authenticity about them. |
Mk17:Please stop trying to justify your assumptions. Being a celebrity certainly does not mean that all their investments are open to public scrutiny. And as for what he’s done for others, Banky I believe is a Christian. Too many people have said that about him. The way Christians are enjoined to give is secretly. All these celebrities and pastors publicizing is their own way. So, if Banky like a few others do stuff without telling the whole world, then it is commendable. A great number of people are quietly doing things for others without announcing it. I know a 14 year old girl who recently raised over a million Naira for a hospice in surulere. This hospice takes care of children with severe disabilities ranging from Down syndrome to cerebral palsy. You have not heard of her. I know of a thirteen year old boy who raised money to build a library for a school in his village. He lives in Lagos and only goes to the village on visits. But he wants people to get interested in reading so that their horizons will broaden. There are people who volunteer their time and resources to help others. The people they are helping may not even know who their benefactors are. If they do come out to vie for a position, you’ll assume they have done nothing. But you’ll probably applaud those who give with the cameras to record every second of it. I’m not saying vote for Banky. I am saying Nigerians should actually listen and investigate instead of working on preconceived notions. |
Mk17:Like I asked previously, are you privy to all the details of his life? Do you know anything about his investments? Why would you assume he has no investments? |
Mk17:Don’t you think you assume a great deal? Every single word you have rotten is conjecture. How do you know he has no investments? Are you privy to any of his life details? Bank W is living his life now. He has so many talents and he has refused to box himself. Stop doing it on his behalf. There are questions that you should ask political aspirants. But you’re not even asking questions. You’re making statements. Based on your assumptions. |
The way people refuse to forgive offenses these days beats me. |
newdawn2017:My apologies too. |
larryking540:I’m not a bro. I agree that he should have a record to show. |
newdawn2017:Maybe you’re high on cow dung. Read and comprehend. If you don’t understand or agree with me, that’s okay. But don’t go telling me I’m high on anything. |
Mk17:You seem to forget he was one of the first ambassadors for one of the network providers. He has different endorsements. As per his wedding, he is not the first. If you could afford it, you’d probably do the same. All over the world, famous people get married in another country. That way, they can have some control. Banky’s case was a celebrity getting married to an equally beloved celebrity. It was certain their wedding will be crashed if held in Nigeria. |
Bank W should not be surprised by the resistance he is getting. He is a man who seems to have everything going for him. Money, fame and a beautiful wife. Nigerians are the most jealous people. They won’t want to vote for him because he seems to be enjoying so many privileges. They don’t care to know if he is sincere. They don’t want to know if he is able to identify problems and come up with good solutions. All they know is that as far as it is in their power, they won’t let him enjoy more advantages. If he had no shoes growing up, then they’ll vote for him because of pity for one of their own or someone worse off than them. |
Corrinthians:How do you know that he won’t do it? |
Hundreddegrees:He already has more than enough money for his creams. I thought Nigeria wanted new people in government instead of the recycled lot that we have now. So, why are you being so mean about Banky W. |
Mitchewww:Exactly how? |
What is wrong with this? Nigerians focusing on irrelevancies. Always trying to make a mountain out of thin air. Is this something he uses on a daily basis that he should know which bottom controls what? When using a device or even kitchen stuff, are there not instructions telling us what to press? In an arcade or amusement park, don’t they have instructions? With that they still have staff going around to help those that don’t understand the basic instructions. Then people who have no brains of their own spend so much energy abusing the president they were brainless enough to elect. Now is another opportunity to do the right thing and vote in someone capable with a heart for the people. But will they? Even if they vote, they will still vote the same way they did before. Some will vote for the candidates they’re told to vote for. Others will vote for who gave them 200 Naira more. Whilst some will of course vote on the tribe of the candidates. Oh! Let’s not forget those that vote for their party’s Candidate even if he is a mad man. Reasonable people are scared to vie in these elections because the people they have a passion for are the same ones who will tear them to pieces. The few who have the courage to participate are asked “who are you?” Yet they complain that governance is circulating within the same group of people. People who have failed the nation. Yet, thousands of young people spend their time on irrelevances and insults. I am a strong believer in a people getting the leaders they deserve. And for those saying Nigeria should be divided because they think they’ll become kings in their new country. Newsflash! Whatever is stopping you from blowing up now won’t change in your new country. And there is NO new country for you. So, try and make this Nigeria the best it can be. It is the only one we have. |
Rosay15:Ditto |
Rosay15:He looks like he has a form of autism. |
shortgun:Thank you |
Namaskar:I hope they don’t abandon her too. |
She certainly does not look happy in this picture at all. In the picture where she was sitting on a guy, she looked blissful. I have come to realize that not everyone wants an education. Some girls just want to marry and be taken care of. Some just want to learn basic skills and flourish in that. I feel they should have asked her what she wanted. The only reason she’s seen as a minor is because of our imported laws. My mother probably married at her age and was able to raise her family. True, the guy is much older than her. But they both seemed happy together. Some women prefer older guys. This is certainly not an inexperienced young lady. Now, at her tender age she is a divorcee. |
bayelsaowei:This is totally inaccurate it is this type of thinking that affects Nigeria. Did Buhari not contest so many times? He kept on loosing until Tinubu’s party merged with his. They made Buhari look more appealing and he won. Stop the lame blame game. |
DanDeeBoss:It is such a horrible situation. The hunger in Kogi State is so real. When it comes to the government, the people are so docile. |
Is this not the same Kogi State that people have been committing suicide because of hunger. One of the poorest states in Nigeria? A state that has not experienced any form of development? What are they doing coming out in support of anyone? It does not matter the party, Kogi State should shun all politicians. They always sell themselves cheap. A politician can buy them for a pack of maggi. I’m sure They’ve heard of Osinbajo’s 10k. |
integrity16:Proof of what exactly? That Lagos state has billions in its coffers? Or that I know Lagos state makes money from taxation? I’m really not sure what you want me to prove. |
integrity16:Of course I do. I had ignored all the letters they had sent to the company until they put the X stickers everywhere. Since I had no experience in all that, I had to send the policeman attached to us to help negotiate with them. The original question I made a comment on was on how Lagos state could have 100b in their coffers. As per the news being fake or not, why do they want to impeach him when his tenor is rounding up? Why now? Exactly why do they want him out of the way? If Ambode should tell come out and make an announcement, he'll just be called a sour loser. |
